- つるぎをもって 刺すように， みだりに 言葉を 出す 者がある， しかし 知惠ある 人の 舌は 人をいやす．
- 眞實を 言うくちびるは， いつまでも 保つ， 僞りを 言う 舌は， ただ， まばたきの 間だけである．
- 惡をたくらむ 者の 心には 欺きがあり， 善をはかる 人には 喜びがある．
