- イエス が 山をお 降りになると， おびただしい 群衆がついてきた．
- すると， そのとき， ひとりのらい 病人が イエス のところにきて， ひれ 伏して 言った， 「主よ， みこころでしたら， きよめていただけるのですが 」．
- イエス は 手を 伸ばして， 彼にさわり， 「そうしてあげよう， きよくなれ 」と 言われた． すると， らい 病は 直ちにきよめられた．
- イエス は 彼に 言われた， 「だれにも 話さないように， 注意しなさい． ただ 行って， 自分のからだを 祭司に 見せ， それから， モ ― セ が 命じた 供え 物をささげて， 人¿に 證明しなさい 」．
- さて， イエス が カペナウム に 歸ってこられたとき， ある 百卒長がみもとにきて 訴えて 言った，

- When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.
- And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.
- And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
- And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
- And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,

- 「主よ， わたしの 僕が 中風でひどく 苦しんで， 家に 寢ています 」．
- イエス は 彼に， 「わたしが 行ってなおしてあげよう 」と 言われた．
- そこで 百卒長は 答えて 言った， 「主よ， わたしの 屋根の 下にあなたをお 入れする 資格は， わたしにはございません． ただ， お 言葉を 下さい． そうすれば 僕はなおります．
- わたしも 權威の 下にある 者ですが， わたしの 下にも 兵卒がいまして， ひとりの 者に『行け 』と 言えば 行き， ほかの 者に『こい 』と 言えばきますし， また， 僕に『これをせよ 』と 言えば， してくれるのです 」．
- イエス はこれを 聞いて 非常に 感心され， ついてきた 人¿に 言われた， 「よく 聞きなさい． イスラエル 人の 中にも， これほどの 信仰を 見たことがない．

- And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.
- And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.
- The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
- For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
- When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

- なお， あなたがたに 言うが， 多くの 人が 東から 西からきて， 天國で， アブラハム ， イサク ， ヤコブ と 共に 宴會の 席につくが，
- この 國の 子らは 外のやみに 追い 出され， そこで 泣き 叫んだり， 齒がみをしたりするであろう 」．
- それから イエス は 百卒長に「行け， あなたの 信じたとおりになるように 」と 言われた． すると， ちょうどその 時に， 僕はいやされた．
- それから， イエス は ペテロ の 家にはいって 行かれ， そのしゅうとめが 熱病で， 床についているのをごらんになった．
- そこで， その 手にさわられると， 熱が 引いた． そして 女は 起きあがって イエス をもてなした．

- And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
- But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
- And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.
- And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever.
- And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.

- 夕暮になると， 人¿は 惡靈につかれた 者を 大ぜい， みもとに 連れてきたので， イエス はみ 言葉をもって 靈どもを 追い 出し， 病人をことごとくおいやしになった．
- これは， 預言者 イザヤ によって「彼は， わたしたちのわずらいを 身に 受け， わたしたちの 病を 負うた 」と 言われた 言葉が 成就するためである．
- イエス は， 群衆が 自分のまわりに 群がっているのを 見て， 向こう 岸に 行くようにと 弟子たちにお 命じになった．
- するとひとりの 律法學者が 近づいてきて 言った， 「先生， あなたがおいでになる 所なら， どこへでも 從ってまいります 」．
- イエス はその 人に 言われた， 「きつねには 穴があり， 空の 鳥には 巢がある． しかし， 人の 子にはまくらする 所がない 」．

- When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:
- That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
- Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart unto the other side.
- And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.
- And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

- また 弟子のひとりが 言った， 「主よ， まず， 父を 葬りに 行かせて 下さい 」．
- イエス は 彼に 言われた， 「わたしに 從ってきなさい． そして， その 死人を 葬ることは， 死人に 任せておくがよい 」．

- And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.
- But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.
