- 神は 義なるさばきびと， 日ごとに 憤りを 起される 神である．
- もし 人が 悔い 改めないならば， 神はそのつるぎをとぎ， その 弓を 張って 構え，
- また 死に 至らせる 武器を 備え， その 矢を 火矢とされる．
- 見よ， 惡しき 者は 邪惡をはらみ， 害毒をやどし， 僞りを 生む．
- 彼は 穴を 掘って， それを 深くし， みずから 作った 穴に 陷る．

- God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.
- If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready.
- He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors.
- Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.
- He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.
