- 主よ， お 助けください． 神を 敬う 人は 絶え， 忠信な 者は 人の 子らのなかから 消えうせました．
- 人はみなその 隣り 人に 僞りを 語り， へつらいのくちびると， ふたごころとをもって 語る．
- 主はすべてのへつらいのくちびると， 大きな 事を 語る 舌とを 斷たれるように．
- 彼らは 言う， 「わたしたちは 舌をもって 勝を 得よう， わたしたちのくちびるはわたしたちのものだ， だれがわたしたちの 主人であるか 」と．
- 主は 言われる， 「貧しい 者がかすめられ， 乏しい 者が 嘆くゆえに， わたしはいま 立ちあがって， 彼らをその 慕い 求める 安全な 所に 置こう 」と．

- They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.
- The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:
- Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?
- For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.
