- 主よ， いつまでなのですか． とこしえにわたしをお 忘れになるのですか． いつまで， み 顔をわたしに 隱されるのですか．
- いつまで， わたしは 魂に 痛みを 負い， ひねもす 心に ／悲しみをいだかなければならないのですか． いつまで 敵はわたしの 上にあがめられるのですか．
- わが 神， 主よ， みそなわして， わたしに 答え， わたしの 目を 明らかにしてください． さもないと， わたしは 死の 眠りに 陷り，
- わたしの 敵は「わたしは 敵に 勝った 」と 言い， わたしのあだは， わたしの 動かされることによって ／喜ぶでしょう．
- しかしわたしはあなたのいつくしみに 信賴し， わたしの 心はあなたの 救を 喜びます．

- How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
- How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?
- Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;
- Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.
- But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
