- 天國は， 畑に 隱してある 寶のようなものである． 人がそれを 見つけると 隱しておき， 喜びのあまり， 行って 持ち 物をみな 賣りはらい， そしてその 畑を 買うのである．
- また 天國は， 良い 眞珠を 搜している 商人のようなものである．
- 高價な 眞珠一個を 見いだすと， 行って 持ち 物をみな 賣りはらい， そしてこれを 買うのである．
- また 天國は， 海におろして， あらゆる 種類の 魚を 圍みいれる 網のようなものである．
- それがいっぱいになると 岸に 引き 上げ， そしてすわって， 良いのを 器に 入れ， 惡いのを 外へ 捨てるのである．

- Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
- Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:
- Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
- Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:
- Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away.

- 世の 終りにも， そのとおりになるであろう． すなわち， 御使たちがきて， 義人のうちから 惡人をえり 分け，
- そして 爐の 火に 投げこむであろう． そこでは 泣き 叫んだり， 齒がみをしたりするであろう．
- あなたがたは， これらのことが 皆わかったか 」． 彼らは「わかりました 」と 答えた．
- そこで， イエス は 彼らに 言われた， 「それだから， 天國のことを 學んだ 學者は， 新しいものと 古いものとを， その 倉から 取り 出す 一家の 主人のようなものである 」．
- イエス はこれらの ·を 語り 終えてから， そこを 立ち 去られた．

- So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,
- And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
- Jesus saith unto them, Have ye understood all these things? They say unto him, Yea, Lord.
- Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old.
- And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these parables, he departed thence.

- そして 鄕里に 行き， 會堂で 人¿を 敎えられたところ， 彼らは 驚いて 言った， 「この 人は， この 知惠とこれらの 力あるわざとを， どこで 習ってきたのか．
- この 人は 大工の 子ではないか． 母は マリヤ といい， 兄弟たちは， ヤコブ ， ヨセフ ， シモン ， ユダ ではないか．
- またその 姉妹たちもみな， わたしたちと 一緖にいるではないか． こんな 數¿のことを， いったい， どこで 習ってきたのか 」．
- こうして 人¿は イエス につまずいた． しかし， イエス は 言われた， 「預言者は， 自分の 鄕里や 自分の 家以外では， どこででも 敬われないことはない 」．
- そして 彼らの 不信仰のゆえに， そこでは 力あるわざを， あまりなさらなかった．

- And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?
- Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
- And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?
- And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.
- And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
