- 主のおきては 完全であって， 魂を 生きかえらせ， 主のあかしは 確かであって， 無學な 者を 賢くする．
- 主のさとしは 正しくて， 心を 喜ばせ， 主の 戒めはまじりなくて， 眼を 明らかにする．
- 主を 恐れる 道は 淸らかで， とこしえに 絶えることがなく， 主のさばきは 眞實であって， ことごとく 正しい．
- これらは 金よりも， 多くの 純金よりも 慕わしく， また 蜜よりも， 蜂の 巢のしたたりよりも 甘い．
- あなたのしもべは， これらによって 戒めをうける． これらを 守れば， 大いなる 報いがある．

- The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
- The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
- The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
- More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
- Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

- だれが 自分のあやまちを 知ることができましようか． どうか， わたしを 隱れたとがから 解き 放ってください．
- また， あなたのしもべを 引きとめて， 故意の 罪を 犯させず， これに 支配されることのないようにしてください． そうすれば， わたしはあやまちのない 者となって， 大いなるとがを 免れることができるでしょう．
- わが 岩， わがあがないぬしなる 主よ， どうか， わたしの 口の 言葉と， 心の 思いが ／あなたの 前に 喜ばれますように．
