- しかし， その 時に 起る 患難の 後， たちまち 日は 暗くなり， 月はその 光を 放つことをやめ， 星は 空から 落ち， 天體は ¿り 動かされるであろう．
- そのとき， 人の 子のしるしが 天に 現れるであろう． またそのとき， 地のすべての 民族は 嘆き， そして 力と 大いなる 榮光とをもって， 人の 子が 天の 雲に 乘って 來るのを， 人¿は 見るであろう．
- また， 彼は 大いなる ラッパ の 音と 共に 御使たちをつかわして， 天のはてからはてに 至るまで， 四方からその 選民を 呼び 集めるであろう．
- いちじくの 木からこの ·を 學びなさい． その 枝が 柔らかになり， 葉が 出るようになると， 夏の 近いことがわかる．
- そのように， すべてこれらのことを 見たならば， 人の 子が 戶口まで 近づいていると 知りなさい．

- Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
- And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
- And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
- Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
- So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

- よく 聞いておきなさい． これらの 事が， ことごとく 起るまでは， この 時代は 滅びることがない．
- 天地は 滅びるであろう． しかしわたしの 言葉は 滅びることがない．
- その 日， その 時は， だれも 知らない． 天の 御使たちも， また 子も 知らない， ただ 父だけが 知っておられる．
- 人の 子の 現れるのも， ちょうど ノア の 時のようであろう．
- すなわち， 洪水の 出る 前， ノア が 箱舟にはいる 日まで， 人¿は 食い， 飮み， めとり， とつぎなどしていた．

- Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
- Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
- But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
- But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
- For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

- そして 洪水が 襲ってきて， いっさいのものをさらって 行くまで， 彼らは 氣がつかなかった． 人の 子の 現れるのも， そのようであろう．
- そのとき， ふたりの 者が 畑にいると， ひとりは 取り 去られ， ひとりは 取り 殘されるであろう．
- ふたりの 女がうすをひいていると， ひとりは 取り 去られ， ひとりは 殘されるであろう．
- だから， 目をさましていなさい． いつの 日にあなたがたの 主がこられるのか， あなたがたには， わからないからである．
- このことをわきまえているがよい． 家の 主人は， 盜賊がいつごろ 來るかわかっているなら， 目をさましていて， 自分の 家に 押し 入ることを 許さないであろう．

- And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
- Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
- Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
- Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
- But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

- だから， あなたがたも 用意をしていなさい． 思いがけない 時に 人の 子が 來るからである．
- 主人がその 家の 僕たちの 上に 立てて， 時に 應じて 食物をそなえさせる 忠實な 思慮深い 僕は， いったい， だれであろう．
- 主人が 歸ってきたとき， そのようにつとめているのを 見られる 僕は， さいわいである．
- よく 言っておくが， 主人は 彼を 立てて 自分の 全財産を 管理させるであろう．
- もしそれが 惡い 僕であって， 自分の 主人は 歸りがおそいと 心の 中で 思い，

- Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
- Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
- Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
- Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
- But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

- その 僕仲間をたたきはじめ， また 酒飮み 仲間と 一緖に 食べたり 飮んだりしているなら，
- その 僕の 主人は 思いがけない 日， 氣がつかない 時に 歸ってきて，
- 彼を 嚴罰に 處し， 僞善者たちと 同じ 目にあわせるであろう． 彼はそこで 泣き 叫んだり， 齒がみをしたりするであろう．

- And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
- The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
- And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
