- わたしの 不義をことごとく 洗い 去り， わたしの 罪からわたしを 淸めてください．
- わたしは 自分のとがを 知っています． わたしの 罪はいつもわたしの 前にあります．
- わたしはあなたにむかい， ただあなたに 罪を 犯し， あなたの 前に 惡い 事を 行いました． それゆえ， あなたが 宣告をお 與えになるときは 正しく， あなたが 人をさばかれるときは 誤りがありません．
- 見よ， わたしは 不義のなかに 生れました． わたしの 母は 罪のうちにわたしをみごもりました．

- Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
- Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
- For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
- Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.
- Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
