- 愚かな 者は 心のうちに「神はない 」と 言う． 彼らは 腐れはて， 憎むべき 不義をおこなった． 善を 行う 者はない．
- 神は 天から 人の 子を 見おろして， 賢い 者， 神を 尋ね 求める 者があるかないかを 見られた．
- 彼らは 皆そむき， みなひとしく 墮落した． 善を 行う 者はない， ひとりもない．
- 惡を 行う 者は 悟りがないのか． 彼らは 物食うようにわが 民を 食らい， また 神を 呼ぶことをしない．
- 彼らは 恐るべきことのない 時に 大いに 恐れた． 神はよこしまな 者の 骨を 散らされるからである． 神が 彼らを 捨てられるので， 彼らは 恥をこうむるであろう．

- The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.
- God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.
- Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
- Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.
- There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.
