- イエス が 歸ってこられると， 群衆は 喜び 迎えた． みんなが イエス を 待ちうけていたのである．
- するとそこに， ヤイロ という 名の 人がきた． この 人は 會堂司であった． イエス の 足もとにひれ 伏して， 自分の 家においでくださるようにと， しきりに 願った．
- 彼に 十二歲ばかりになるひとり 娘があったが， 死にかけていた． ところが， イエス が 出て 行かれる 途中， 群衆が 押し 迫ってきた．
- ここに， 十二年間も 長血をわずらっていて， 醫者のために 自分の 身代をみな 使い 果してしまったが， だれにもなおしてもらえなかった 女がいた．
- この 女がうしろから 近寄ってみ 衣のふさにさわったところ， その 長血がたちまち 止まってしまった．

- And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received him: for they were all waiting for him.
- And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus' feet, and besought him that he would come into his house:
- For he had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay a dying. But as he went the people thronged him.
- And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,
- Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.

- イエス は 言われた， 「わたしにさわったのは， だれか 」． 人¿はみな 自分ではないと 言ったので， ペテロ が「先生， 群衆があなたを 取り 圍んで， ひしめき 合っているのです 」と 答えた．
- しかし イエス は 言われた， 「だれかがわたしにさわった． 力がわたしから 出て 行ったのを 感じたのだ 」．
- 女は 隱しきれないのを 知って， 震えながら 進み 出て， みまえにひれ 伏し， イエス にさわった 譯と， さわるとたちまちなおったこととを， みんなの 前で 話した．
- そこで イエス が 女に 言われた， 「娘よ， あなたの 信仰があなたを 救ったのです． 安心して 行きなさい 」．
- イエス がまだ 話しておられるうちに， 會堂司の 家から 人がきて， 「お 孃さんはなくなられました． この 上， 先生を 煩わすには 及びません 」と 言った．

- And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
- And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.
- And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.
- And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.
- While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.

- しかし イエス はこれを 聞いて 會堂司にむかって 言われた， 「恐れることはない． ただ 信じなさい． 娘は 助かるのだ 」．
- それから 家にはいられるとき， ペテロ ， ヨハネ ， ヤコブ およびその 子の 父母のほかは， だれも 一緖にはいって 來ることをお 許しにならなかった．
- 人¿はみな， 娘のために 泣き 悲しんでいた． イエス は 言われた， 「泣くな， 娘は 死んだのではない． 眠っているだけである 」．
- 人¿は 娘が 死んだことを 知っていたので， イエス をあざ 笑った．
- イエス は 娘の 手を 取って， 呼びかけて 言われた， 「娘よ， 起きなさい 」．

- But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
- And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden.
- And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth.
- And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead.
- And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise.

- するとその 靈がもどってきて， 娘は 卽座に 立ち 上がった． イエス は 何か 食べ 物を 與えるように， さしずをされた．
- 兩親は 驚いてしまった． イエス はこの 出來事をだれにも 話さないようにと， 彼らに 命じられた．

- And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat.
- And her parents were astonished: but he charged them that they should tell no man what was done.
