- さて， イエス が 惡靈を 追い 出しておられた． それは， 物を 言えなくする 靈であった． 惡靈が 出て 行くと， 口のきけない 人が 物を 言うようになったので， 群衆は 不思議に 思った．
- その 中のある 人¿が， 「彼は 惡靈のかしら ベルゼブル によって， 惡靈どもを 追い 出しているのだ 」と 言い，
- またほかの 人¿は， イエス を 試みようとして， 天からのしるしを 求めた．
- しかし イエス は， 彼らの 思いを 見拔いて 言われた， 「おおよそ 國が 內部で 分裂すれば 自滅してしまい， また 家が 分れ 爭えば 倒れてしまう．
- そこで サタン も 內部で 分裂すれば， その 國はどうして 立ち 行けよう． あなたがたはわたしが ベルゼブル によって 惡靈を 追い 出していると 言うが，

- And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb. And it came to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake; and the people wondered.
- But some of them said, He casteth out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils.
- And others, tempting him, sought of him a sign from heaven.
- But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falleth.
- If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because ye say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.

- もしわたしが ベルゼブル によって 惡靈を 追い 出すとすれば， あなたがたの 仲間はだれによって 追い 出すのであろうか． だから， 彼らがあなたがたをさばく 者となるであろう．
- しかし， わたしが 神の 指によって 惡靈を 追い 出しているのなら， 神の 國はすでにあなたがたのところにきたのである．
- 强い 人が 十分に 武裝して 自分の 邸宅を 守っている 限り， その 持ち 物は 安全である．
- しかし， もっと 强い 者が 襲ってきて 彼に 打ち 勝てば， その 賴みにしていた 武具を 奪って， その 分捕品を 分けるのである．
- わたしの 味方でない 者は， わたしに 反對するものであり， わたしと 共に 集めない 者は， 散らすものである．

- And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges.
- But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.
- When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace:
- But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.
- He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.

- 汚れた 靈が 人から 出ると， 休み 場を 求めて 水の 無い 所を 步きまわるが， 見つからないので， 出てきた 元の 家に 歸ろうと 言って，
- 歸って 見ると， その 家はそうじがしてある 上， 飾りつけがしてあった．
- そこでまた 出て 行って， 自分以上に 惡い 他の 七つの 靈を 引き 連れてきて 中にはいり， そこに 住み ¿む． そうすると， その 人の 後の 狀態は 初めよりももっと 惡くなるのである 」．
- イエス がこう 話しておられるとき， 群衆の 中からひとりの 女が 聲を 張りあげて 言った， 「あなたを 宿した 胎， あなたが 吸われた 乳房は， なんとめぐまれていることでしょう 」．
- しかし イエス は 言われた， 「いや， めぐまれているのは， むしろ， 神の 言を 聞いてそれを 守る 人たちである 」．

- When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out.
- And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished.
- Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.
- And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.
- But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

- さて 群衆が 群がり 集まったので， イエス は 語り 出された， 「この 時代は 邪惡な 時代である． それはしるしを 求めるが， ヨナ のしるしのほかには， なんのしるしも 與えられないであろう．
- というのは， ニネベ の 人¿に 對して ヨナ がしるしとなったように， 人の 子もこの 時代に 對してしるしとなるであろう．
- 南の 女王が， 今の 時代の 人¿と 共にさばきの 場に 立って， 彼らを 罪に 定めるであろう． なぜなら， 彼女は ソロモン の 知惠を 聞くために， 地の 果からはるばるきたからである． しかし 見よ， ソロモン にまさる 者がここにいる．
- ニネベ の 人¿が， 今の 時代の 人¿と 共にさばきの 場に 立って， 彼らを 罪に 定めるであろう． なぜなら， ニネベ の 人¿は ヨナ の 宣敎によって 悔い 改めたからである． しかし 見よ， ヨナ にまさる 者がここにいる．
- だれもあかりをともして， それを 穴倉の 中や ¿の 下に 置くことはしない． むしろはいって 來る 人たちに， そのあかりが 見えるように， 燭台の 上におく．

- And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.
- For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.
- The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.
- The men of Nineve shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.
- No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.

- あなたの 目は， からだのあかりである． あなたの 目が 澄んでおれば， 全身も 明るいが， 目がわるければ， からだも 暗い．
- だから， あなたの 內なる 光が 暗くならないように 注意しなさい．
- もし， あなたのからだ 全體が 明るくて， 暗い 部分が 少しもなければ， ちょうど， あかりが 輝いてあなたを 照す 時のように， 全身が 明るくなるであろう 」．

- The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.
- Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness.
- If thy whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle doth give thee light.
