- さて， 過越といわれている 除酵祭が 近づいた．
- 祭司長たちや 律法學者たちは， どうかして イエス を 殺そうと 計っていた． 民衆を 恐れていたからである．
- そのとき， 十二弟子のひとりで， イスカリオテ と 呼ばれていた ユダ に， サタン がはいった．
- すなわち， 彼は 祭司長たちや 宮守がしらたちのところへ 行って， どうして イエス を 彼らに 渡そうかと， その 方法について 協議した．
- 彼らは 喜んで， ユダ に 金を 與える 取決めをした．

- Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.
- And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.
- Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.
- And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.
- And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.

- ユダ はそれを 承諾した． そして， 群衆のいないときに イエス を 引き 渡そうと， 機會をねらっていた．
- さて， 過越の 小羊をほふるべき 除酵祭の 日がきたので，
- イエス は ペテロ と ヨハネ とを 使いに 出して 言われた， 「行って， 過越の 食事ができるように 準備をしなさい 」．
- 彼らは 言った， 「どこに 準備をしたらよいのですか 」．
- イエス は 言われた， 「市內にはいったら， 水がめを 持っている 男に 出會うであろう． その 人がはいる 家までついて 行って，

- And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.
- Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.
- And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat.
- And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare?
- And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in.

- その 家の 主人に 言いなさい， 『弟子たちと 一緖に 過越の 食事をする 座敷はどこか， と 先生が 言っておられます 』．
- すると， その 主人は 席の 整えられた 二階の 廣間を 見せてくれるから， そこに 用意をしなさい 」．
- 弟子たちは 出て 行ってみると， イエス が 言われたとおりであったので， 過越の 食事の 用意をした．

- And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?
- And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.
- And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.
