	누가복음 22:54-23:12 체포되어 끌려가시는 예수님의 뒤를 따라가서 대제사장의 집 뜰에 들어간 베드로는 예수님의 예언대로 세 번 주님을 부인하고 말았다. 예수님은 대제사장의 집에서 모욕당하신 후, 산헤드린에서 신성 모독죄로 정죄받으셨다. 그 후 예수님은 로마 총독 빌라도와 갈릴리의 분봉왕 헤롯에게 심문을 받으셨다.

	베드로의 부인(22:54-22:71)

それから人¿はイエスを捕え，ひっぱって大祭司の邸宅へつれて行った．ペテロは遠くからついて行った．

人¿は中庭のまん中に火をたいて，一緖にすわっていたので，ペテロもその中にすわった．

すると，ある女中が，彼が火のそばにすわっているのを見，彼を見つめて，「この人もイエスと一緖にいました」と言った．

ペテロはそれを打ち消して，「わたしはその人を知らない」と言った．

しばらくして，ほかの人がペテロを見て言った，「あなたもあの仲間のひとりだ」．するとペテロは言った，「いや，それはちがう」．

Then took they him, and led him, and brought him into the high priest's house. And Peter followed afar off.

And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and were set down together, Peter sat down among them.

But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him.

And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not.

And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou art also of them. And Peter said, Man, I am not.

約一時間たってから，またほかの者が言い張った，「たしかにこの人もイエスと一緖だった．この人もガリラヤ人なのだから」．

ペテロは言った，「あなたの言っていることは，わたしにわからない」．すると，彼がまだ言い終らぬうちに，たちまち，鷄が鳴いた．

主は振りむいてペテロを見つめられた．そのときペテロは，「きょう，鷄がなく前に，三度わたしを知らないと言うであろう」と言われた主のお言葉を思い出した．

そして外へ出て，激しく泣いた．

イエスを監視していた人たちは，イエスを嘲弄し，打ちたたき，

And about the space of one hour after another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this fellow also was with him: for he is a Galilaean.

And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the cock crew.

And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.

And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.

And the men that held Jesus mocked him, and smote him.

目かくしをして，「言いあててみよ．打ったのは，だれか」ときいたりした．

そのほか，いろいろな事を言って，イエスを愚弄した．

夜が明けたとき，人民の長老，祭司長たち，律法學者たちが集まり，イエスを議會に引き出して言った，

「あなたがキリストなら，そう言ってもらいたい」．イエスは言われた，「わたしが言っても，あなたがたは信じないだろう．

また，わたしがたずねても，答えないだろう．

And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that smote thee?

And many other things blasphemously spake they against him.

And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and led him into their council, saying,

Art thou the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe:

And if I also ask you, ye will not answer me, nor let me go.

しかし，人の子は今からのち，全能の神の右に座するであろう」．

彼らは言った，「では，あなたは神の子なのか」．イエスは言われた，「あなたがたの言うとおりである」．

すると彼らは言った，「これ以上，なんの證據がいるか．われわれは直接彼の口から聞いたのだから」．

Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.

Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am.

And they said, What need we any further witness? for we ourselves have heard of his own mouth.

	빌라도와 헤롯의 심문(23:1-23:12)

群衆はみな立ちあがって，イエスをピラトのところへ連れて行った．

そして訴え出て言った，「わたしたちは，この人が國民を惑わし，貢をカイザルに納めることを禁じ，また自分こそ王なるキリストだと，となえているところを目擊しました」．

ピラトはイエスに尋ねた，「あなたがユダヤ人の王であるか」．イエスは「そのとおりである」とお答えになった．

そこでピラトは祭司長たちと群衆とにむかって言った，「わたしはこの人になんの罪もみとめない」．

ところが彼らは，ますます言いつのってやまなかった，「彼は，ガリラヤからはじめてこの所まで，ユダヤ全國にわたって敎え，民衆を �動しているのです」．

And the whole multitude of them arose, and led him unto Pilate.

And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King.

And Pilate asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answered him and said, Thou sayest it.

Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man.

And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place.

ピラトはこれを聞いて，この人はガリラヤ人かと尋ね，

そしてヘロデの支配下のものであることを確かめたので，ちょうどこのころ，ヘロデがエルサレムにいたのをさいわい，そちらへイエスを送りとどけた．

ヘロデはイエスを見て非常に喜んだ．それは，かねてイエスのことを聞いていたので，會って見たいと長いあいだ思っていたし，またイエスが何か奇跡を行うのを見たいと望んでいたからである．

それで，いろいろと質問を試みたが，イエスは何もお答えにならなかった．

祭司長たちと律法學者たちとは立って，激しい語調でイエスを訴えた．

When Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked whether the man were a Galilaean.

And as soon as he knew that he belonged unto Herod's jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who himself also was at Jerusalem at that time.

And when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceeding glad: for he was desirous to see him of a long season, because he had heard many things of him; and he hoped to have seen some miracle done by him.

Then he questioned with him in many words; but he answered him nothing.

And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused him.

またヘロデはその兵卒どもと一緖になって，イエスを侮辱したり嘲弄したりしたあげく，はなやかな着物を着せてピラトへ送りかえした．

ヘロデとピラトとは以前は互に敵視していたが，この日に親しい仲になった．

And Herod with his men of war set him at nought, and mocked him, and arrayed him in a gorgeous robe, and sent him again to Pilate.

And the same day Pilate and Herod were made friends together: for before they were at enmity between themselves.
