- よくよくあなたがたに 言っておく． 羊の 圍いにはいるのに， 門からでなく， ほかの 所からのりこえて 來る 者は， 盜人であり， 强盜である．
- 門からはいる 者は， 羊の 羊飼である．
- 門番は 彼のために 門を 開き， 羊は 彼の 聲を 聞く． そして 彼は 自分の 羊の 名をよんで 連れ 出す．
- 自分の 羊をみな 出してしまうと， 彼は 羊の 先頭に 立って 行く． 羊はその 聲を 知っているので， 彼について 行くのである．
- ほかの 人には， ついて 行かないで 逃げ 去る． その 人の 聲を 知らないからである 」．

- Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
- But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
- To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
- And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
- And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

- イエス は 彼らにこの 比喩を 話されたが， 彼らは 自分たちにお 話しになっているのが 何のことだか， わからなかった．
- そこで， イエス はまた 言われた， 「よくよくあなたがたに 言っておく． わたしは 羊の 門である．
- わたしよりも 前にきた 人は， みな 盜人であり， 强盜である． 羊は 彼らに 聞き 從わなかった．
- わたしは 門である． わたしをとおってはいる 者は 救われ， また 出入りし， 牧草にありつくであろう．
- 盜人が 來るのは， 盜んだり， 殺したり， 滅ぼしたりするためにほかならない． わたしがきたのは， 羊に 命を 得させ， 豊かに 得させるためである．

- This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.
- Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
- All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
- I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
- The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

- わたしはよい 羊飼である． よい 羊飼は， 羊のために 命を 捨てる．
- 羊飼ではなく， 羊が 自分のものでもない 雇人は， おおかみが 來るのを 見ると， 羊をすてて 逃げ 去る． そして， おおかみは 羊を 奪い， また 追い 散らす．
- 彼は 雇人であって， 羊のことを 心にかけていないからである．
- わたしはよい 羊飼であって， わたしの 羊を 知り， わたしの 羊はまた， わたしを 知っている．
- それはちょうど， 父がわたしを 知っておられ， わたしが 父を 知っているのと 同じである． そして， わたしは 羊のために 命を 捨てるのである．

- I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
- But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
- The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
- I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.
- As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

- わたしにはまた， この 圍いにいない 他の 羊がある． わたしは 彼らをも 導かねばならない． 彼らも， わたしの 聲に 聞き 從うであろう． そして， ついに 一つの 群れ， ひとりの 羊飼となるであろう．
- 父は， わたしが 自分の 命を 捨てるから， わたしを 愛して 下さるのである． 命を 捨てるのは， それを 再び 得るためである．
- だれかが， わたしからそれを 取り 去るのではない． わたしが， 自分からそれを 捨てるのである． わたしには， それを 捨てる 力があり， またそれを 受ける 力もある． これはわたしの 父から 授かった 定めである 」．
- これらの 言葉を 語られたため， ユダヤ 人の 間にまたも 分爭が 生じた．
- そのうちの 多くの 者が 言った， 「彼は 惡靈に 取りつかれて， 氣が 狂っている． どうして， あなたがたはその 言うことを 聞くのか 」．

- And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
- Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
- No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
- There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.
- And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him?

- 他の 人¿は 言った， 「それは 惡靈に 取りつかれた 者の 言葉ではない． 惡靈は 盲人の 目をあけることができようか 」．

- Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?
