로마서 3:9-3:31

 바울은 모든 인간은 하나님 앞에 죄인임을 밝히면서, 죄인된 인간이 구원받을 수 있는 길은 오직 예수 그리스도를 믿는 믿음뿐이라고 강조하였다.
  
  전인류의 죄(3:9-3:18)    
 
  1. すると， どうなるのか． わたしたちには 何かまさったところがあるのか． 絶對にない． ユダヤ 人も ギリシヤ 人も， ことごとく 罪の 下にあることを， わたしたちはすでに 指摘した．
  2. 次のように 書いてある， ／「義人はいない， ひとりもいない．
  3. 悟りのある 人はいない， ／神を 求める 人はいない．
  4. すべての 人は 迷い 出て， ／ことごとく 無益なものになっている． 善を 行う 者はいない， ／ひとりもいない．
  5. 彼らののどは， 開いた 墓であり， ／彼らは， その 舌で 人を 欺き， ／彼らのくちびるには， まむしの 毒があり，
  1. What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
  2. As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
  3. There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
  4. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
  5. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
  1. 彼らの 口は， のろいと 苦い 言葉とで 滿ちている．
  2. 彼らの 足は， 血を 流すのに 速く，
  3. 彼らの 道には， 破壞と 悲慘とがある．
  4. そして， 彼らは 平和の 道を 知らない．
  5. 彼らの 目の 前には， 神に 對する 恐れがない 」．
  1. Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
  2. Their feet are swift to shed blood:
  3. Destruction and misery are in their ways:
  4. And the way of peace have they not known:
  5. There is no fear of God before their eyes.
 
  믿음으로 의롭게 됨(3:19-3:31)    
 
  1. さて， わたしたちが 知っているように， すべて 律法の 言うところは， 律法のもとにある 者たちに 對して 語られている． それは， すべての 口がふさがれ， 全世界が 神のさばきに 服するためである．
  2. なぜなら， 律法を 行うことによっては， すべての 人間は 神の 前に 義とせられないからである． 律法によっては， 罪の 自覺が 生じるのみである．
  3. しかし 今や， 神の 義が， 律法とは 別に， しかも 律法と 預言者とによってあかしされて， 現された．
  4. それは， イエス · キリスト を 信じる 信仰による 神の 義であって， すべて 信じる 人に 與えられるものである． そこにはなんらの 差別もない．
  5. すなわち， すべての 人は 罪を 犯したため， 神の 榮光を 受けられなくなっており，
  1. Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
  2. Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
  3. But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
  4. Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
  5. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
  1. 彼らは， 價なしに， 神の 惠みにより， キリスト · イエス によるあがないによって 義とされるのである．
  2. 神はこの キリスト を 立てて， その 血による， 信仰をもって 受くべきあがないの 供え 物とされた． それは 神の 義を 示すためであった． すなわち， 今までに 犯された 罪を， 神は 忍耐をもって 見のがしておられたが，
  3. それは， 今の 時に， 神の 義を 示すためであった． こうして， 神みずからが 義となり， さらに， イエス を 信じる 者を 義とされるのである．
  4. すると， どこにわたしたちの 誇があるのか． 全くない． なんの 法則によってか． 行いの 法則によってか． そうではなく， 信仰の 法則によってである．
  5. わたしたちは， こう 思う． 人が 義とされるのは， 律法の 行いによるのではなく， 信仰によるのである．
  1. Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
  2. Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
  3. To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
  4. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
  5. Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
  1. それとも， 神は ユダヤ 人だけの 神であろうか． また， 異邦人の 神であるのではないか． 確かに， 異邦人の 神でもある．
  2. まことに， 神は 唯一であって， 割禮のある 者を 信仰によって 義とし， また， 無割禮の 者をも 信仰のゆえに 義とされるのである．
  3. すると， 信仰のゆえに， わたしたちは 律法を 無效にするのであるか． 斷じてそうではない． かえって， それによって 律法は 確立するのである．
  1. Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:
  2. Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
  3. Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
