로마서 14:1-14:23

 바울은 강한 믿음을 가진 자의 자유한 행동이 연약한 자들을 실족케 할 수 있으므로 성도들은 먼저 자유를 누리기에 앞서 연약한 자들을 사랑으로 돌아보아야 함을 강조하였다. 또한 연약한 자들도 편협한 안목으로 자유를 비방하지 말고, 서로 덕을 세우는 차원에서 해결할 것을 권면하였다.
  
  비판 금지(14:1-14:12)    
 
  1. 信仰の 弱い 者を 受けいれなさい． ただ， 意見を 批評するためであってはならない．
  2. ある 人は， 何を 食べてもさしつかえないと 信じているが， 弱い 人は 野菜だけを 食べる．
  3. 食べる 者は 食べない 者を 輕んじてはならず， 食べない 者も 食べる 者をさばいてはならない． 神は 彼を 受けいれて 下さったのであるから．
  4. 他人の 僕をさばくあなたは， いったい， 何者であるか． 彼が 立つのも 倒れるのも， その 主人によるのである． しかし， 彼は 立つようになる． 主は 彼を 立たせることができるからである．
  5. また， ある 人は， この 日がかの 日よりも 大事であると 考え， ほかの 人はどの 日も 同じだと 考える． 各自はそれぞれ 心の 中で， 確信を 持っておるべきである．
  1. Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
  2. For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.
  3. Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
  4. Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
  5. One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
  1. 日を 重んじる 者は， 主のために 重んじる． また 食べる 者も 主のために 食べる． 神に 感謝して 食べるからである． 食べない 者も 主のために 食べない． そして， 神に 感謝する．
  2. すなわち， わたしたちのうち， だれひとり 自分のために 生きる 者はなく， だれひとり 自分のために 死ぬ 者はない．
  3. わたしたちは， 生きるのも 主のために 生き， 死ぬのも 主のために 死ぬ． だから， 生きるにしても 死ぬにしても， わたしたちは 主のものなのである．
  4. なぜなら， キリスト は， 死者と 生者との 主となるために， 死んで 生き 返られたからである．
  5. それだのに， あなたは， なぜ 兄弟をさばくのか． あなたは， なぜ 兄弟を 輕んじるのか． わたしたちはみな， 神のさばきの 座の 前に 立つのである．
  1. He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
  2. For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
  3. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
  4. For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.
  5. But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
  1. すなわち， ／「主が 言われる． わたしは 生きている． すべてのひざは， わたしに 對してかがみ， ／すべての 舌は， 神にさんびをささげるであろう 」／と 書いてある．
  2. だから， わたしたちひとりびとりは， 神に 對して 自分の 言いひらきをすべきである．
  1. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
  2. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
 
  덕을 세움(14:13-14:23)    
 
  1. それゆえ， 今後わたしたちは， 互にさばき 合うことをやめよう． むしろ， あなたがたは， 妨げとなる 物や， つまずきとなる 物を 兄弟の 前に 置かないことに， 決めるがよい．
  2. わたしは， 主 イエス にあって 知りかつ 確信している． それ 自體， 汚れているものは 一つもない． ただ， それが 汚れていると 考える 人にだけ， 汚れているのである．
  3. もし 食物のゆえに 兄弟を 苦しめるなら， あなたは， もはや 愛によって 步いているのではない． あなたの 食物によって， 兄弟を 滅ぼしてはならない． キリスト は 彼のためにも， 死なれたのである．
  4. それだから， あなたがたにとって 良い 事が， そしりの 種にならぬようにしなさい．
  5. 神の 國は 飮食ではなく， 義と， 平和と， 聖靈における 喜びとである．
  1. Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.
  2. I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.
  3. But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.
  4. Let not then your good be evil spoken of:
  5. For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
  1. こうして キリスト に 仕える 者は， 神に 喜ばれ， かつ， 人にも 受けいれられるのである．
  2. こういうわけで， 平和に 役立つことや， 互の 德を 高めることを， 追い 求めようではないか．
  3. 食物のことで， 神のみわざを 破壞してはならない． すべての 物はきよい． ただ， それを 食べて 人をつまずかせる 者には， 惡となる．
  4. 肉を 食わず， 酒を 飮まず， そのほか 兄弟をつまずかせないのは， 良いことである．
  5. あなたの 持っている 信仰を， 神のみまえに， 自分自身に 持っていなさい． 自ら 良いと 定めたことについて， やましいと 思わない 人は， さいわいである．
  1. For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.
  2. Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
  3. For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.
  4. It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.
  5. Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.
  1. しかし， 疑いながら 食べる 者は， 信仰によらないから， 罪に 定められる． すべて 信仰によらないことは， 罪である．
  1. And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.
