- 兄弟たちよ． わたしはあなたがたには， 靈の 人に 對するように 話すことができず， むしろ， 肉に 屬する 者， すなわち， キリスト にある 幼な 子に 話すように 話した．
- あなたがたに 乳を 飮ませて， 堅い 食物は 與えなかった． 食べる 力が， まだあなたがたになかったからである． 今になってもその 力がない．
- あなたがたはまだ， 肉の 人だからである． あなたがたの 間に， ねたみや 爭いがあるのは， あなたがたが 肉の 人であって， 普通の 人間のように 步いているためではないか．
- すなわち， ある 人は「わたしは パウロ に 」と 言い， ほかの 人は「わたしは アポロ に 」と 言っているようでは， あなたがたは 普通の 人間ではないか．
- アポロ は， いったい， 何者か． また， パウロ は 何者か． あなたがたを 信仰に 導いた 人にすぎない． しかもそれぞれ， 主から 與えられた 分に 應じて 仕えているのである．

- And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
- I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
- For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
- For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
- Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?

- わたしは 植え， アポロ は 水をそそいだ． しかし 成長させて 下さるのは， 神である．
- だから， 植える 者も 水をそそぐ 者も， ともに 取るに 足りない． 大事なのは， 成長させて 下さる 神のみである．
- 植える 者と 水をそそぐ 者とは 一つであって， それぞれその ¿きに 應じて 報酬を 得るであろう．
- わたしたちは 神の 同勞者である． あなたがたは 神の 畑であり， 神の 建物である．
- 神から 賜わった 惠みによって， わたしは 熟練した 建築師のように， 土台をすえた． そして 他の 人がその 上に 家を 建てるのである． しかし， どういうふうに 建てるか， それぞれ 氣をつけるがよい．

- I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
- So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
- Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
- For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.
- According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

- なぜなら， すでにすえられている 土台以外のものをすえることは， だれにもできない． そして， この 土台は イエス · キリスト である．
- この 土台の 上に， だれかが 金， 銀， 寶石， 木， 草， または， わらを 用いて 建てるならば，
- それぞれの 仕事は， はっきりとわかってくる． すなわち， かの 日は 火の 中に 現れて， それを 明らかにし， またその 火は， それぞれの 仕事がどんなものであるかを， ためすであろう．
- もしある 人の 建てた 仕事がそのまま 殘れば， その 人は 報酬を 受けるが，
- その 仕事が 燒けてしまえば， 損失を 被るであろう． しかし 彼自身は， 火の 中をくぐってきた 者のようにではあるが， 救われるであろう．

- For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
- Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
- Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
- If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
- If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

- あなたがたは 神の 宮であって， 神の 御靈が 自分のうちに 宿っていることを 知らないのか．
- もし 人が， 神の 宮を 破壞するなら， 神はその 人を 滅ぼすであろう． なぜなら， 神の 宮は 聖なるものであり， そして， あなたがたはその 宮なのだからである．
- だれも 自分を 欺いてはならない． もしあなたがたのうちに， 自分がこの 世の 知者だと 思う 人がいるなら， その 人は 知者になるために 愚かになるがよい．
- なぜなら， この 世の 知惠は， 神の 前では 愚かなものだからである． 「神は， 知者たちをその 惡知惠によって 捕える 」と 書いてあり，
- 更にまた， 「主は， 知者たちの 論議のむなしいことをご 存じである 」と 書いてある．

- Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
- If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
- Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
- For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
- And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

- だから， だれも 人間を 誇ってはいけない． すべては， あなたがたのものなのである．
- パウロ も， アポロ も， ケパ も， 世界も， 生も， 死も， 現在のものも， 將來のものも， ことごとく， あなたがたのものである．
- そして， あなたがたは キリスト のもの， キリスト は 神のものである．

- Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are your's;
- Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are your's;
- And ye are Christ's; and Christ is God's.
