	365 일독성경 8월 30일 (1)

	욥기 20:1-22:30 소발은 잔인하기 짝이 없는 비유까지 서슴지 않고 하면서 욥에게 회개를 강조하였다. 이에 대하여 욥은 가만히 있을 수 없어서 악인의 형통함에 관하여 역설하였다. 엘리바스는 욥의 죄악이 크다고 책망하였다. 그러나 훗날에 그는 위로자의 자세로 돌아가 회개하여 불의를 버리면 하나님께서 다시 욥의 기도를 들어주실 것이라고 권면하였다.

	소발의 두번째 충고(20:1-20:29)

そこでナアマびとゾパルは答えて言った，

「これによって，わたしは答えようとの思いを起し，／これがために心中しきりに ¿ぎ立つ．

わたしはわたしをはずかしめる非難を聞く，／しかし，わたしの悟りの靈がわたしに答えさせる．

あなたはこの事を知らないのか，／昔から地の上に人の置かれてよりこのかた，

惡しき人の勝ち誇はしばらくであって，／神を信じない者の樂しみは／ただつかのまであることを．

Then answered Zophar the Naamathite, and said,

Therefore do my thoughts cause me to answer, and for this I make haste.

I have heard the check of my reproach, and the spirit of my understanding causeth me to answer.

Knowest thou not this of old, since man was placed upon earth,

That the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment?

たといその高さが天に達し，／その頭が雲におよんでも，

彼はおのれの糞のように，とこしえに滅び，／彼を見た者は言うであろう，『彼はどこにおるか』と．

彼は夢のように飛び去って，再び見ることはない．彼は夜の幻のように追い拂われるであろう．

彼を見た目はかさねて彼を見ることがなく，／彼のいた所も再び彼を見ることがなかろう．

その子らは貧しい者に惠みを求め，／その手は彼の貨財を償うであろう．

Though his excellency mount up to the heavens, and his head reach unto the clouds;

Yet he shall perish for ever like his own dung: they which have seen him shall say, Where is he?

He shall fly away as a dream, and shall not be found: yea, he shall be chased away as a vision of the night.

The eye also which saw him shall see him no more; neither shall his place any more behold him.

His children shall seek to please the poor, and his hands shall restore their goods.

その骨には若い力が滿ちている，／しかしそれは彼と共にちりに伏すであろう．

たとい惡は彼の口に甘く，／これを舌の裏にかくし，

これを惜しんで捨てることなく，／口の中に含んでいても，

その食物は彼の腹の中で變り，／彼の內で毒蛇の毒となる．

彼は貨財をのんでも，またそれを吐き出す，／神がそれを彼の腹から押し出されるからだ．

His bones are full of the sin of his youth, which shall lie down with him in the dust.

Though wickedness be sweet in his mouth, though he hide it under his tongue;

Though he spare it, and forsake it not; but keep it still within his mouth:

Yet his meat in his bowels is turned, it is the gall of asps within him.

He hath swallowed down riches, and he shall vomit them up again: God shall cast them out of his belly.

彼は毒蛇の毒を吸い，／まむしの舌は彼を殺すであろう．

彼は蜜と凝乳の流れる川¿を見ることができない．

彼はほねおって獲たものを返して，／それを食うことができない．その商いによって得た利益をもって／樂しむことができない．

彼が貧しい者をしえたげ，これを捨てたからだ．彼は家を奪い取っても，／それを建てることができない．

彼の欲張りは足ることを知らぬゆえ，／その樂しむ何物をも救うことができないであろう．

He shall suck the poison of asps: the viper's tongue shall slay him.

He shall not see the rivers, the floods, the brooks of honey and butter.

That which he laboured for shall he restore, and shall not swallow it down: according to his substance shall the restitution be, and he shall not rejoice therein.

Because he hath oppressed and hath forsaken the poor; because he hath violently taken away an house which he builded not;

Surely he shall not feel quietness in his belly, he shall not save of that which he desired.

彼が殘して食べなかった物とては一つもない．それゆえ，その繁榮はながく續かないであろう．

その力の滿ちている時，彼は窮境に陷り，／惱みの手がことごとく彼の上に臨むであろう．

彼がその腹を滿たそうとすれば，／神はその激しい怒りを送って，／それを彼の上に降り注ぎ，彼の食物とされる．

彼は鐵の武器を免れても，／靑銅の矢は彼を射通すであろう．

彼がこれをその身から引き拔けば，／きらめく矢じりがその肝から出てきて，／恐れが彼の上に臨む．

There shall none of his meat be left; therefore shall no man look for his goods.

In the fulness of his sufficiency he shall be in straits: every hand of the wicked shall come upon him.

When he is about to fill his belly, God shall cast the fury of his wrath upon him, and shall rain it upon him while he is eating.

He shall flee from the iron weapon, and the bow of steel shall strike him through.

It is drawn, and cometh out of the body; yea, the glittering sword cometh out of his gall: terrors are upon him.

もろもろの暗黑が彼の寶物のためにたくわえられ，／人が吹き起したものでない火が彼を燒きつくし，／その天幕に殘っている者を滅ぼすであろう．

天は彼の罪をあらわし，／地は起って彼を攻めるであろう．

その家の財産は奪い去られ，／神の怒りの日に消えうせるであろう．

これが惡しき人の神から受ける分，／神によって定められた嗣業である」．

All darkness shall be hid in his secret places: a fire not blown shall consume him; it shall go ill with him that is left in his tabernacle.

The heaven shall reveal his iniquity; and the earth shall rise up against him.

The increase of his house shall depart, and his goods shall flow away in the day of his wrath.

This is the portion of a wicked man from God, and the heritage appointed unto him by God.

	욥의 변증(21:1-21:34)

そこでヨブは答えて言った，

「あなたがたはとくと，わたしの言葉を聞き，／これをもって，あなたがたの慰めとするがよい．

まずわたしをゆるして語らせなさい．わたしが語ったのち，あざけるのもよかろう．

わたしのつぶやきは人に對してであろうか．わたしはどうして，いらだたないでいられようか．

あなたがたはわたしを見て，驚き，／手を口にあてるがよい．

But Job answered and said,

Hear diligently my speech, and let this be your consolations.

Suffer me that I may speak; and after that I have spoken, mock on.

As for me, is my complaint to man? and if it were so, why should not my spirit be troubled?

Mark me, and be astonished, and lay your hand upon your mouth.

わたしはこれを思うと恐ろしくなって，／からだがしきりに震えわななく．

なにゆえ惡しき人が生きながらえ，／老齡に達し，かつ力强くなるのか．

その子らは彼らの前に堅く立ち，／その子孫もその目の前に堅く立つ．

その家は安らかで，恐れがなく，／神のつえは彼らの上に臨むことがない．

その雄牛は種を與えて，誤ることなく，／その雌牛は子を産んで，そこなうことがない．

Even when I remember I am afraid, and trembling taketh hold on my flesh.

Wherefore do the wicked live, become old, yea, are mighty in power?

Their seed is established in their sight with them, and their offspring before their eyes.

Their houses are safe from fear, neither is the rod of God upon them.

Their bull gendereth, and faileth not; their cow calveth, and casteth not her calf.

彼らはその小さい者どもを群れのように連れ出し，／その子らは舞い踊る．

彼らは手鼓と琴に合わせて歌い，／笛の音によって樂しみ，

その日をさいわいに過ごし，／安らかに陰府にくだる．

彼らは神に言う，『われわれを離れよ，／われわれはあなたの道を知ることを好まない．

全能者は何者なので，／われわれはこれに仕えねばならないのか．われわれはこれに祈っても，なんの益があるか』と．

They send forth their little ones like a flock, and their children dance.

They take the timbrel and harp, and rejoice at the sound of the organ.

They spend their days in wealth, and in a moment go down to the grave.

Therefore they say unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways.

What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what profit should we have, if we pray unto him?

見よ，彼らの繁榮は彼らの手にあるではないか．惡人の計りごとは，わたしの遠く及ぶ所でない．

惡人のともしびの消されること，／幾たびあるか．その災の彼らの上に臨むこと，／神がその怒りをもって苦しみを與えられること，／幾たびあるか．

彼らが風の前のわらのようになること，／あらしに吹き去られるもみがらのようになること，／幾たびあるか．

あなたがたは言う，／『神は彼らの罪を積みたくわえて，／その子らに報いられるのだ』と．どうかそれを彼ら自身に報いて，／彼らにその罪を知らせられるように．

すなわち彼ら自身の目にその滅びを見させ，／全能者の怒りを彼らに飮ませられるように．

Lo, their good is not in their hand: the counsel of the wicked is far from me.

How oft is the candle of the wicked put out! and how oft cometh their destruction upon them! God distributeth sorrows in his anger.

They are as stubble before the wind, and as chaff that the storm carrieth away.

God layeth up his iniquity for his children: he rewardeth him, and he shall know it.

His eyes shall see his destruction, and he shall drink of the wrath of the Almighty.

その月の數のつきるとき，／彼らはその後の家になんのかかわる所があろうか．

神は天にある者たちをさえ，さばかれるのに，／だれが神に知識を敎えることができようか．

ある者は繁榮をきわめ，／全く安らかに，かつおだやかに死に，

そのからだには脂肪が滿ち，／その骨の ¿は潤っている．

ある者は心を苦しめて死に，／なんの幸をも味わうことがない．

For what pleasure hath he in his house after him, when the number of his months is cut off in the midst?

Shall any teach God knowledge? seeing he judgeth those that are high.

One dieth in his full strength, being wholly at ease and quiet.

His breasts are full of milk, and his bones are moistened with marrow.

And another dieth in the bitterness of his soul, and never eateth with pleasure.

彼らはひとしくちりに伏し，／うじにおおわれる．

見よ，わたしはあなたがたの思いを知り，／わたしを害しようとするたくらみを知る．

あなたがたは言う，『王侯の家はどこにあるか，／惡人の住む天幕はどこにあるか』と．

あなたがたは道行く人¿に問わなかったか，／彼らの證言を受け入れないのか．

すなわち，災の日に惡人は免れ，／激しい怒りの日に彼は救い出される．

They shall lie down alike in the dust, and the worms shall cover them.

Behold, I know your thoughts, and the devices which ye wrongfully imagine against me.

For ye say, Where is the house of the prince? and where are the dwelling places of the wicked?

Have ye not asked them that go by the way? and do ye not know their tokens,

That the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction? they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath.

だれが彼に向かって，／その道を告げ知らせる者があるか，／だれが彼のした事を彼に報いる者があるか．

彼はかかれて墓に行き，／塚の上で見張りされ，

谷の土くれも彼には快く，／すべての人はそのあとに從う．彼の前に行った者も數えきれない．

それで，あなたがたはどうしてむなしい事をもって，／わたしを慰めようとするのか．あなたがたの答は僞り以外の何ものでもない」．

Who shall declare his way to his face? and who shall repay him what he hath done?

Yet shall he be brought to the grave, and shall remain in the tomb.

The clods of the valley shall be sweet unto him, and every man shall draw after him, as there are innumerable before him.

How then comfort ye me in vain, seeing in your answers there remaineth falsehood?

	엘리바스의 세번째 충고(22:1-22:30)

そこでテマンびとエリパズは答えて言った，

「人は神を益することができるであろうか．賢い人も，ただ自身を益するのみである．

あなたが正しくても，全能者になんの喜びがあろう．あなたが自分の道を全うしても，／彼になんの利益があろう．

神はあなたが神を恐れることのゆえに，／あなたを責め，あなたをさばかれるであろうか．

あなたの惡は大きいではないか．あなたの罪は，はてしがない．

Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said,

Can a man be profitable unto God, as he that is wise may be profitable unto himself?

Is it any pleasure to the Almighty, that thou art righteous? or is it gain to him, that thou makest thy ways perfect?

Will he reprove thee for fear of thee? will he enter with thee into judgment?

Is not thy wickedness great? and thine iniquities infinite?

あなたはゆえなく兄弟のものを質にとり，／裸な者の着物をはぎ取り，

疲れた者に水を飮ませず，／飢えた者に食物を與えなかった．

力ある人は土地を得，／名ある人はそのうちに住んだ．

あなたは，やもめをむなしく去らせた．みなしごの腕は折られた．

それゆえ，わなはあなたをめぐり，／恐怖は，にわかにあなたを驚かす．

For thou hast taken a pledge from thy brother for nought, and stripped the naked of their clothing.

Thou hast not given water to the weary to drink, and thou hast withholden bread from the hungry.

But as for the mighty man, he had the earth; and the honourable man dwelt in it.

Thou hast sent widows away empty, and the arms of the fatherless have been broken.

Therefore snares are round about thee, and sudden fear troubleth thee;

あなたの光は暗くされ，／あなたは見ることができない．大水はあなたをおおうであろう．

神は天に高くおられるではないか．見よ，いと高き星を．いかに高いことよ．

それであなたは言う，『神は何を知っておられるか．彼は黑雲を通して，さばくことができるのか．

濃い雲が彼をおおい隱すと，／彼は見ることができない．彼は天の大空を步まれるのだ』と．

あなたは惡しき人¿が踏んだ／いにしえの道を守ろうとするのか．

Or darkness, that thou canst not see; and abundance of waters cover thee.

Is not God in the height of heaven? and behold the height of the stars, how high they are!

And thou sayest, How doth God know? can he judge through the dark cloud?

Thick clouds are a covering to him, that he seeth not; and he walketh in the circuit of heaven.

Hast thou marked the old way which wicked men have trodden?

彼らは時がこないうちに取り去られ，／その基は川のように押し流された．

彼らは神に言った，『われわれを離れてください』と，／また『全能者はわれわれに何をなしえようか』と．

しかし神は彼らの家を良い物で滿たされた．ただし惡人の計りごとは／わたしのくみする所ではない．

正しい者はこれを見て喜び，／罪なき者は彼らをあざ笑って言う，

『まことにわれわれのあだは滅ぼされ，／その殘した物は火で燒き滅ぼされた』と．

Which were cut down out of time, whose foundation was overflown with a flood:

Which said unto God, Depart from us: and what can the Almighty do for them?

Yet he filled their houses with good things: but the counsel of the wicked is far from me.

The righteous see it, and are glad: and the innocent laugh them to scorn.

Whereas our substance is not cut down, but the remnant of them the fire consumeth.

あなたは神と和らいで，平安を得るがよい．そうすれば幸福があなたに來るでしょう．

どうか，彼の口から敎を受け，／その言葉をあなたの心におさめるように．

あなたがもし全能者に立ち返って，おのれを低くし，／あなたの天幕から不義を除き去り，

こがねをちりの中に置き，／オフルのこがねを谷川の石の中に置き，

全能者があなたのこがねとなり，／あなたの貴重なしろがねとなるならば，

Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.

Receive, I pray thee, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in thine heart.

If thou return to the Almighty, thou shalt be built up, thou shalt put away iniquity far from thy tabernacles.

Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks.

Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defence, and thou shalt have plenty of silver.

その時，あなたは全能者を喜び，／神に向かって顔をあげることができる．

あなたが彼に祈るならば，彼はあなたに聞かれる．そしてあなたは自分の誓いを果す．

あなたが事をなそうと定めるならば，／あなたはその事を成就し，／あなたの道には光が輝く．

彼は高ぶる者を低くされるが，／へりくだる者を救われるからだ．

彼は罪のない者を救われる．あなたはその手の潔いことによって，／救われるであろう」．

For then shalt thou have thy delight in the Almighty, and shalt lift up thy face unto God.

Thou shalt make thy prayer unto him, and he shall hear thee, and thou shalt pay thy vows.

Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.

When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person.

He shall deliver the island of the innocent: and it is delivered by the pureness of thine hands.
