- このようにわたしたちは， あわれみを 受けてこの 務についているのだから， 落膽せずに，
- 恥ずべき 隱れたことを 捨て 去り， 惡巧みによって 步かず， 神の 言を 曲げず， 眞理を 明らかにし， 神のみまえに， すべての 人の 良心に 自分を 推薦するのである．
- もしわたしたちの 福音がおおわれているなら， 滅びる 者どもにとっておおわれているのである．
- 彼らの 場合， この 世の 神が 不信の 者たちの 思いをくらませて， 神のかたちである キリスト の 榮光の 福音の 輝きを， 見えなくしているのである．
- しかし， わたしたちは 自分自身を 宣べ 傳えるのではなく， 主なる キリスト · イエス を 宣べ 傳える． わたしたち 自身は， ただ イエス のために ¿くあなたがたの 僕にすぎない．

- Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
- But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
- But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
- In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
- For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

- 「やみの 中から 光が 照りいでよ 」と 仰せになった 神は， キリスト の 顔に 輝く 神の 榮光の 知識を 明らかにするために， わたしたちの 心を 照して 下さったのである．
- しかしわたしたちは， この 寶を 土の 器の 中に 持っている． その 測り 知れない 力は 神のものであって， わたしたちから 出たものでないことが， あらわれるためである．
- わたしたちは， 四方から 患難を 受けても 窮しない． 途方にくれても 行き 詰まらない．
- 迫害に 會っても 見捨てられない． 倒されても 滅びない．
- いつも イエス の 死をこの 身に 負うている． それはまた， イエス のいのちが， この 身に 現れるためである．

- For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
- But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
- We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
- Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
- Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

- わたしたち 生きている 者は， イエス のために 絶えず 死に 渡されているのである． それは イエス のいのちが， わたしたちの 死ぬべき 肉體に 現れるためである．
- こうして， 死はわたしたちのうちに ¿き， いのちはあなたがたのうちに ¿くのである．
- 「わたしは 信じた． それゆえに 語った 」としるしてあるとおり， それと 同じ 信仰の 靈を 持っているので， わたしたちも 信じている． それゆえに 語るのである．
- それは， 主 イエス をよみがえらせたかたが， わたしたちをも イエス と 共によみがえらせ， そして， あなたがたと 共にみまえに 立たせて 下さることを， 知っているからである．
- すべてのことは， あなたがたの 益であって， 惠みがますます 多くの 人に 增し 加わるにつれ， 感謝が 滿ちあふれて， 神の 榮光となるのである．

- For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
- So then death worketh in us, but life in you.
- We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;
- Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.
- For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.
