욥기 32:1-33:33

 욥의 세 친구들은 그가 끝까지 결백을 주장하자 변론을 중단하였다. 그러자 이때 엘리후가 의롭다는 욥과 그를 정죄한 세 친구들을 공박하면서 세 친구들이 욥과의 변론에서 올바른 대답을 해주지 못했다고 지적하였다. 그리고 하나님은 사람보다 크시다고 하면서, 스스로 불의가 없다고 고백한 욥의 말은 의롭지 못하다고 하였다.
  
  엘리후의 발언(32:1-33:33)    
 
  1. このように ヨブ が 自分の 正しいことを 主張したので， これら 三人の 者は ヨブ に 答えるのをやめた．
  2. その 時 ラム 族の ブズ びと バラケル の 子 エリフ は 怒りを 起した． すなわち ヨブ が 神よりも 自分の 正しいことを 主張するので， 彼は ヨブ に 向かって 怒りを 起した．
  3. また ヨブ の 三人の 友が ヨブ を 罪ありとしながら， 答える 言葉がなかったので， エリフ は 彼らにむかっても 怒りを 起した．
  4. エリフ は 彼らが 皆， 自分よりも 年長者であったので， ヨブ に 物言うことをひかえて 待っていたが，
  5. ここに エリフ は 三人の 口に 答える 言葉のないのを 見て 怒りを 起した．
  1. So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.
  2. Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.
  3. Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.
  4. Now Elihu had waited till Job had spoken, because they were elder than he.
  5. When Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, then his wrath was kindled.
  1. ブズ びと バラケル の 子 エリフ は 答えて 言った， ／「わたしは 年若く， あなたがたは 年老いている． それゆえ， わたしははばかって， ／わたしの 意見を 述べることをあえてしなかった．
  2. わたしは 思った， 『日を 重ねた 者が 語るべきだ， ／年を 積んだ 者が 知惠を 敎えるべきだ 』と．
  3. しかし 人のうちには 靈があり， ／全能者の 息が 人に 悟りを 與える．
  4. 老いた 者， 必ずしも 知惠があるのではなく， ／年とった 者， 必ずしも 道理をわきまえるのではない．
  5. ゆえにわたしは 言う， 『わたしに 聞け， ／わたしもまたわが 意見を 述べよう 』．
  1. And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not shew you mine opinion.
  2. I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.
  3. But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.
  4. Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.
  5. Therefore I said, Hearken to me; I also will shew mine opinion.
  1. 見よ， わたしはあなたがたの 言葉に 期待し， ／その 知惠ある 言葉に 耳を 傾け， ／あなたがたが 言うべき 言葉を 搜し 出すのを ／待っていた．
  2. わたしはあなたがたに 心をとめたが， ／あなたがたのうちに ヨブ を 言いふせる 者は ／ひとりもなく， ／また 彼の 言葉に 答える 者はひとりもなかった．
  3. おそらくあなたがたは 言うだろう， ／『われわれは 知惠を 見いだした， ／彼に 勝つことのできるのは 神だけで， ／人にはできない 』と．
  4. 彼はその 言葉をわたしに 向けて 言わなかった． わたしはあなたがたの 言葉をもって ／彼に 答えることはしない．
  5. 彼らは 驚いて， もはや 答えることをせず， ／彼らには， もはや 言うべき 言葉がない．
  1. Behold, I waited for your words; I gave ear to your reasons, whilst ye searched out what to say.
  2. Yea, I attended unto you, and, behold, there was none of you that convinced Job, or that answered his words:
  3. Lest ye should say, We have found out wisdom: God thrusteth him down, not man.
  4. Now he hath not directed his words against me: neither will I answer him with your speeches.
  5. They were amazed, they answered no more: they left off speaking.
  1. 彼らは 物言わず， ／立ちとどまって， もはや 答えるところがないので， ／わたしはこれ 以上待つ 必要があろうか．
  2. わたしもまたわたしの 分を 答え， ／わたしの 意見を 述べよう．
  3. わたしには 言葉が 滿ち， ／わたしのうちの 靈がわたしに 迫るからだ．
  4. 見よ， わたしの 心は 口を 開かないぶどう 酒のように， ／新しいぶどう 酒の 皮袋のように， ／今にも 張りさけようとしている．
  5. わたしは 語って， 氣を 晴らし， ／くちびるを 開いて 答えよう．
  1. When I had waited, (for they spake not, but stood still, and answered no more;)
  2. I said, I will answer also my part, I also will shew mine opinion.
  3. For I am full of matter, the spirit within me constraineth me.
  4. Behold, my belly is as wine which hath no vent; it is ready to burst like new bottles.
  5. I will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open my lips and answer.
  1. わたしはだれをもかたより 見ることなく， ／また 何人にもへつらうことをしない．
  2. わたしはへつらうことを 知らないからだ． もしへつらうならば， わたしの 造り 主は 直ちに ／わたしを 滅ぼされるであろう．
  1. Let me not, I pray you, accept any man's person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.
  2. For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.
 
 
  1. だから， ヨブ よ， 今わたしの 言うことを 聞け， ／わたしのすべての 言葉に 耳を 傾けよ．
  2. 見よ， わたしは 口を 開き， 口の 中の 舌は 物言う．
  3. わたしの 言葉はわが 心の 正しきを 語り， ／わたしのくちびるは 眞實をもってその 知識を 語る．
  4. 神の 靈はわたしを 造り， ／全能者の 息はわたしを 生かす．
  5. あなたがもしできるなら， わたしに 答えよ， ／わたしの 前に 言葉を 整えて， 立て．
  1. Wherefore, Job, I pray thee, hear my speeches, and hearken to all my words.
  2. Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue hath spoken in my mouth.
  3. My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.
  4. The spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.
  5. If thou canst answer me, set thy words in order before me, stand up.
  1. 見よ， 神に 對しては， わたしもあなたと 同樣であり， ／わたしもまた 土から 取って 造られた 者だ．
  2. 見よ， わたしの 威嚴はあなたを 恐れさせない， ／わたしの 勢いはあなたを 壓しない．
  3. 確かに， あなたはわたしの 聞くところで 言った， ／わたしはあなたの 言葉の 聲を 聞いた．
  4. あなたは 言う， 『わたしはいさぎよく， とがはない． わたしは 淸く， 不義はない．
  5. 見よ， 彼はわたしを 攻める 口實を 見つけ， ／わたしを 自分の 敵とみなし，
  1. Behold, I am according to thy wish in God's stead: I also am formed out of the clay.
  2. Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, neither shall my hand be heavy upon thee.
  3. Surely thou hast spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of thy words, saying,
  4. I am clean without transgression, I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me.
  5. Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy,
  1. わたしの 足をかせにはめ， ／わたしのすべての 行いに 目をとめられる 』と．
  2. 見よ， わたしはあなたに 答える， ／あなたはこの 事において 正しくない． 神は 人よりも 大いなる 者だ．
  3. あなたが『彼はわたしの 言葉に ／少しも 答えられない 』といって， ／彼に 向かって 言い 爭うのは， どういうわけであるか．
  4. 神は 一つの 方法によって 語られ， ／また 二つの 方法によって 語られるのだが， ／人はそれを 悟らないのだ．
  5. 人¿が 熟睡するとき， または 床にまどろむとき， ／夢あるいは 夜の 幻のうちで，
  1. He putteth my feet in the stocks, he marketh all my paths.
  2. Behold, in this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man.
  3. Why dost thou strive against him? for he giveth not account of any of his matters.
  4. For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.
  5. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;
  1. 彼は 人¿の 耳を 開き， ／警告をもって 彼らを 恐れさせ，
  2. こうして 人にその 惡しきわざを 離れさせ， ／高ぶりを 人から 除き，
  3. その 魂を 守って， 墓に 至らせず， ／その 命を 守って， つるぎに 滅びないようにされる．
  4. 人はまたその 床の 上で 痛みによって 懲らされ， ／その 骨に 戰いが 絶えることなく，
  5. その 命は， 食物をいとい， ／その 食欲は， おいしい 食物をきらう．
  1. Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,
  2. That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.
  3. He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.
  4. He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain:
  5. So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty meat.
  1. その 肉はやせ 落ちて 見えず， ／その 骨は 見えなかったものまでもあらわになり，
  2. その 魂は 墓に 近づき， その 命は 滅ぼす 者に 近づく．
  3. もしそこに 彼のためにひとりの 天使があり， ／千のうちのひとりであって， 仲保となり， ／人にその 正しい 道を 示すならば，
  4. 神は 彼をあわれんで 言われる， ／『彼を 救って， 墓に 下ることを 免れさせよ， ／わたしはすでにあがないしろを 得た．
  5. 彼の 肉を 幼な 子の 肉よりもみずみずしくならせ， ／彼を 若い 時の 元氣に 歸らせよ 』と．
  1. His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones that were not seen stick out.
  2. Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers.
  3. If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:
  4. Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.
  5. His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the days of his youth:
  1. その 時， 彼が 神に 祈るならば， 神は 彼を 顧み， ／喜びをもって， み 前にいたらせ， ／その 救を 人に 告げ 知らせられる．
  2. 彼は 人¿の 前に 歌って 言う， ／『わたしは 罪を 犯し， 正しい 事を 曲げた． しかしわたしに 報復がなかった．
  3. 彼はわたしの 魂をあがなって， ／墓に 下らせられなかった． わたしの 命は 光を 見ることができる 』と．
  4. 見よ， 神はこれらすべての 事を ／ふたたび， みたび 人に 行い，
  5. その 魂を 墓から 引き 返し， ／彼に 命の 光を 見させられる．
  1. He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.
  2. He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;
  3. He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.
  4. Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man,
  5. To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.
  1. ヨブ よ， 耳を 傾けてわたしに 聞け， ／默せよ， わたしは 語ろう．
  2. あなたがもし 言うべきことがあるなら， ／わたしに 答えよ， ／語れ， わたしはあなたを 正しい 者にしようと ／望むからだ．
  3. もし 語ることがないなら， わたしに 聞け， ／默せよ， わたしはあなたに 知惠を 敎えよう 」．
  1. Mark well, O Job, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I will speak.
  2. If thou hast anything to say, answer me: speak, for I desire to justify thee.
  3. If not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I shall teach thee wisdom.
