- こういうわけで， あなたがた 異邦人のために キリスト · イエス の 囚人となっているこの パウロ ――
- わたしがあなたがたのために 神から 賜わった 惠みの 務について， あなたがたはたしかに 聞いたであろう．
- すなわち， すでに 簡單に 書きおくったように， わたしは 啓示によって 奧義を 知らされたのである．
- あなたがたはそれを 讀めば， キリスト の 奧義をわたしがどう 理解しているかがわかる．
- この 奧義は， いまは， 御靈によって 彼の 聖なる 使徒たちと 預言者たちとに 啓示されているが， 前の 時代には， 人の 子らに 對して， そのように 知らされてはいなかったのである．

- For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,
- If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:
- How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,
- Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)
- Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

- それは， 異邦人が， 福音により キリスト · イエス にあって， わたしたちと 共に 神の 國をつぐ 者となり， 共に 一つのからだとなり， 共に 約束にあずかる 者となることである．
- わたしは， 神の 力がわたしに ¿いて， 自分に 與えられた 神の 惠みの 賜物により， 福音の 僕とされたのである．
- すなわち， 聖徒たちのうちで 最も 小さい 者であるわたしにこの 惠みが 與えられたが， それは， キリスト の 無盡藏の 富を 異邦人に 宣べ 傳え，
- 更にまた， 万物の 造り 主である 神の 中に 世¿隱されていた 奧義にあずかる 務がどんなものであるかを， 明らかに 示すためである．
- それは 今， 天上にあるもろもろの 支配や 權威が， 敎會をとおして， 神の 多種多樣な 知惠を 知るに 至るためであって，

- That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
- Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.
- Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
- And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
- To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

- わたしたちの 主 キリスト · イエス にあって 實現された 神の 永遠の 目的にそうものである．
- この 主 キリスト にあって， わたしたちは， 彼に 對する 信仰によって， 確信をもって 大膽に 神に 近づくことができるのである．
- だから， あなたがたのためにわたしが 受けている 患難を 見て， 落膽しないでいてもらいたい． わたしの 患難は， あなたがたの 光榮なのである．
- こういうわけで， わたしはひざをかがめて，
- 天上にあり 地上にあって「父 」と 呼ばれているあらゆるものの 源なる 父に 祈る．

- According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
- In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.
- Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
- For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
- Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

- どうか 父が， その 榮光の 富にしたがい， 御靈により， 力をもってあなたがたの 內なる 人を 强くして 下さるように，
- また， 信仰によって， キリスト があなたがたの 心のうちに 住み， あなたがたが 愛に 根ざし 愛を 基として 生活することにより，
- すべての 聖徒と 共に， その 廣さ， 長さ， 高さ， 深さを 理解することができ，
- また 人知をはるかに 越えた キリスト の 愛を 知って， 神に 滿ちているもののすべてをもって， あなたがたが 滿たされるように， と 祈る．
- どうか， わたしたちのうちに ¿く 力によって， わたしたちが 求めまた 思うところのいっさいを， はるかに 越えてかなえて 下さることができるかたに，

- That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
- That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
- May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
- And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
- Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

- 敎會により， また， キリスト · イエス によって， 榮光が 世¿限りなくあるように， アァメン ．
|
- Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
