	시편 149:1-149:9 시인은 자기 백성을 기뻐하시며 겸손한 자를 구원으로 인도하시는 하나님을 찬양하고 있다.

主をほめたたえよ．主にむかって新しい歌をうたえ．聖徒のつどいで，主の譽を歌え．

イスラエルにその造り主を喜ばせ，シオンの子らにその王を喜ばせよ．

彼らに踊りをもって主のみ名をほめたたえさせ，鼓と琴とをもって主をほめ歌わせよ．

主はおのが民を喜び，へりくだる者を勝利をもって飾られるからである．

聖徒を榮光によって喜ばせ，その床の上で喜び歌わせよ．

Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.

Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

そののどには神をあがめる歌があり，その手にはもろ刃のつるぎがある．

これはもろもろの國にあだを返し，もろもろの民を懲らし，

彼らの王たちを鎖で縛り，彼らの貴人たちを鐵のかせで縛りつけ，

しるされたさばきを彼らに行うためである．これはそのすべての聖徒に與えられる譽である．主をほめたたえよ．

Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;

To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.
