- 彼らは 正しい 道を 離れて， 暗い 道に 步み，
- 惡を 行うことを 樂しみ， 惡人の 僞りを 喜び，
- その 道は 曲り， その 行いは， よこしまである．
- 愼みと 悟りはまたあなたを 遊女から 救い， 言葉の 巧みな， みだらな 女から 救う．
- 彼女は 若い 時の 友を 捨て， その 神に 契約したことを 忘れている．

- Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;
- Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked;
- Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths:
- To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words;
- Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God.

- その 家は 死に 下り， その 道は 陰府におもむく．
- すべて 彼女のもとへ 行く 者は， 歸らない， また 命の 道にいたらない．
- こうして， あなたは 善良な 人¿の 道に 步み， 正しい 人¿の 道を 守ることができる．
- 正しい 人は 地にながらえ， 誠實な 人は 地にとどまる．
- しかし 惡しき 者は 地から 斷ち 滅ぼされ， 不信實な 者は 地から 拔き 捨てられる．

- For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead.
- None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life.
- That thou mayest walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous.
- For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it.
- But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.
