- 知惠はその 家を 建て， 愚かさは 自分の 手でそれをこわす．
- まっすぐに 步む 者は 主を 恐れる， 曲って 步む 者は 主を 侮る．
- 愚かな 者の 言葉は 自分の 背にむちを 當てる， 知惠ある 者のくちびるはその 身を 守る．
- 牛がなければ 穀物はない， 牛の 力によって 農作物は 多くなる．
- 眞實な 證人はうそをいわない， 僞りの 證人はうそをつく．

- Every wise woman buildeth her house: but the foolish plucketh it down with her hands.
- He that walketh in his uprightness feareth the LORD: but he that is perverse in his ways despiseth him.
- In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride: but the lips of the wise shall preserve them.
- Where no oxen are, the crib is clean: but much increase is by the strength of the ox.
- A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies.
