- 愚かな 者が 愚かな 事をするのに 會うよりは， 子をとられた 雌ぐまに 會うほうがよい．
- 惡をもて 善に 報いる 者は， 惡がその 家を 離れることがない．
- 爭いの 初めは 水がもれるのに 似ている， それゆえ， けんかの 起らないうちにそれをやめよ．
- 惡しき 者を 正しいとする 者， 正しい 者を 惡いとする 者， この 二つの 者はともに 主に 憎まれる．
- 愚かな 者はすでに 心がないのに， どうして 知惠を 買おうとして ／手にその 代金を 持っているのか．
