	에스겔 36:16-37:28 하나님께서는 이스라엘이 우상 숭배 죄로 인해 징계를 받아 여러 나라에 흩어져 비참한 생활을 하게 되었지만 하나님의 거룩한 이름을 위하여 그들을 회복시키시겠다고 약속하셨다. 하나님께서는 마른 뼈들이 부활되는 환상을 통해 이스라엘의 회복을 확증하셨고, 두 막대기를 하나로 연합시키는 상징적 행위를 통해 이스라엘과 유다가 연합될 것을 보여 주셨다. 다윗의 왕국이 영원할 것과 그들이 야웨의 백성이 될 것도 약속하셨다.

	이스라엘의 회복(36:16-36:38)

主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ，

「人の子よ，昔，イスラエルの家が，自分の國に住んだとき，彼らはおのれのおこないとわざとをもって，これを汚した．そのおこないは，わたしの前には，汚れにある女の汚れのようであった．

彼らが國に血を流し，またその偶像をもって，國を汚したため，わたしはわが怒りを彼らの上に注ぎ，

彼らを諸國民の中に散らしたので，彼らは國¿の中に散った．わたしは彼らのおこないと，わざとにしたがって，彼らをさばいた．

彼らがその行くところの國¿へ行ったとき，わが聖なる名を汚した．これは人¿が彼らについて『これは主の民であるが，その國から出た者である』と言ったからである．

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own way and by their doings: their way was before me as the uncleanness of a removed woman.

Wherefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land, and for their idols wherewith they had polluted it:

And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.

And when they entered unto the heathen, whither they went, they profaned my holy name, when they said to them, These are the people of the LORD, and are gone forth out of his land.

しかしわたしはイスラエルの家が，その行くところの諸國民の中で汚したわが聖なる名を惜しんだ．

それゆえ，あなたはイスラエルの家に言え．主なる神はこう言われる，イスラエルの家よ，わたしがすることはあなたがたのためではない．それはあなたがたが行った諸國民の中で汚した，わが聖なる名のためである．

わたしは諸國民の中で汚されたもの，すなわち，あなたがたが彼らの中で汚した，わが大いなる名の聖なることを示す．わたしがあなたがたによって，彼らの目の前に，わたしの聖なることを示す時，諸國民はわたしが主であることを悟ると，主なる神は言われる．

わたしはあなたがたを諸國民の中から導き出し，万國から集めて，あなたがたの國に行かせる．

わたしは淸い水をあなたがたに注いで，すべての汚れから淸め，またあなたがたを，すべての偶像から淸める．

But I had pity for mine holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the heathen, whither they went.

Therefore say unto the house of Israel, thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.

And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

わたしは新しい心をあなたがたに與え，新しい靈をあなたがたの內に授け，あなたがたの肉から，石の心を除いて，肉の心を與える．

わたしはまたわが靈をあなたがたのうちに置いて，わが定めに步ませ，わがおきてを守ってこれを行わせる．

あなたがたは，わたしがあなたがたの先祖に與えた地に住んで，わが民となり，わたしはあなたがたの神となる．

わたしはあなたがたをそのすべての汚れから救い，穀物を呼びよせてこれを增し，ききんをあなたがたに臨ませない．

またわたしは木の實と，田畑の作物とを多くする．あなたがたは重ねて諸國民の間に，ききんのはずかしめを受けることがない．

A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.

And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.

その時あなたがたは自身の惡しきおこないと，良からぬわざとを覺えて，その罪と，その憎むべきこととのために，みずから恨む．

わたしがなすことはあなたがたのためではないと，主なる神は言われる．あなたがたはこれを知れ．イスラエルの家よ，あなたがたは自分のおこないを恥じて悔やむべきである．

主なる神はこう言われる，わたしは，あなたがたのすべての罪を淸める日に，町¿に人を住ませ，その荒れ跡を建て直す．

荒れた地は，行き來の人¿の目に荒れ地と見えたのに引きかえて耕される．

そこで人¿は言う，『この荒れた地は，エデンの園のようになった．荒れ，滅び，くずれた町¿は，堅固になり，人の住む所となった』と．

Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.

Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded.

And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by.

And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.

あなたがたの周圍に殘った諸國民は主なるわたしがくずれた所を建て直し，荒れた所にものを植えたということを悟るようになる．主なるわたしがこれを言い，これをなすのである．

主なる神はこう言われる，イスラエルの家は，わたしが次のことを彼らのためにするように，わたしに求めるべきである．すなわち人を群れのようにふやすこと，

すなわち ¿牲のための群れのように，エルサレムの祝い日の群れのようにすることである．こうして荒れた町¿は人の群れで滿ちる．その時人¿は，わたしが主であることを悟るようになる」．

Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.

As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the LORD.

	마른 뼈들의 부활(37:1-37:14)

主の手がわたしに臨み，主はわたしを主の靈に滿たして出て行かせ，谷の中にわたしを置かれた．そこには骨が滿ちていた．

彼はわたしに谷の周圍を行きめぐらせた．見よ，谷の面には，はなはだ多くの骨があり，皆いたく枯れていた．

彼はわたしに言われた，「人の子よ，これらの骨は，生き返ることができるのか」．わたしは答えた，「主なる神よ，あなたはご存じです」．

彼はまたわたしに言われた，「これらの骨に預言して，言え．枯れた骨よ，主の言葉を聞け．

主なる神はこれらの骨にこう言われる，見よ，わたしはあなたがたのうちに息を入れて，あなたがたを生かす．

The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,

And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.

And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.

Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.

Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:

わたしはあなたがたの上に筋を與え，肉を生じさせ，皮でおおい，あなたがたのうちに息を與えて生かす．そこであなたがたはわたしが主であることを悟る」．

わたしは命じられたように預言したが，わたしが預言した時，聲があった．見よ，動く音があり，骨と骨が集まって相つらなった．

わたしが見ていると，その上に筋ができ，肉が生じ，皮がこれをおおったが，息はその中になかった．

時に彼はわたしに言われた，「人の子よ，息に預言せよ，息に預言して言え．主なる神はこう言われる，息よ，四方から吹いて來て，この殺された者たちの上に吹き，彼らを生かせ」．

そこでわたしが命じられたように預言すると，息はこれにはいった．すると彼らは生き，その足で立ち，はなはだ大いなる群衆となった．

And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.

And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.

Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.

So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

そこで彼はわたしに言われた，「人の子よ，これらの骨はイスラエルの全家である．見よ，彼らは言う，『われわれの骨は枯れ，われわれの望みは盡き，われわれは絶え果てる』と．

それゆえ彼らに預言して言え．主なる神はこう言われる，わが民よ，見よ，わたしはあなたがたの墓を開き，あなたがたを墓からとりあげて，イスラエルの地にはいらせる．

わが民よ，わたしがあなたがたの墓を開き，あなたがたをその墓からとりあげる時，あなたがたは，わたしが主であることを悟る．

わたしがわが靈を，あなたがたのうちに置いて，あなたがたを生かし，あなたがたをその地に安住させる時，あなたがたは，主なるわたしがこれを言い，これをおこなったことを悟ると，主は言われる」．

Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.

Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.

And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,

And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.

	이스라엘의 통치(37:15-37:28)

主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ，

「人の子よ，あなたは一本の木を取り，その上に『ユダおよびその友であるイスラエルの子孫のために』と書き，また一本の木を取って，その上に『ヨセフおよびその友であるイスラエルの全家のために』と書け．これはエフライムの木である．

あなたはこれらを合わせて，一つの木となせ．これらはあなたの手で一つになる．

あなたの民の人¿があなたに向かって，『これはなんのことであるか，われわれに示してくれないか』と言う時は，

これに言え，主なる神はこう言われる，見よ，わたしはエフライムの手にあるヨセフと，その友であるイスラエルの部族の木を取り，これをユダの木に合わせて，一つの木となす．これらはわたしの手で一つとなる．

The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and for all the house of Israel his companions:

And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.

And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these?

Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.

あなたが文字を書いた木が，彼らの目の前で，あなたの手にあるとき，

あなたは彼らに言え．主なる神は，こう言われる，見よ，わたしはイスラエルの人¿を，その行った國¿から取り出し，四方から彼らを集めて，その地にみちびき，

その地で彼らを一つの民となしてイスラエルの山¿におらせ，ひとりの王が彼ら全體の王となり，彼らは重ねて二つの國民とならず，再び二つの國に分れない．

彼らはまた，その偶像と，その憎むべきことどもと，もろもろのとがとをもって，身を汚すことはない．わたしは彼らを，その犯したすべての背信から救い出して，これを淸める．そして彼らはわが民となり，わたしは彼らの神となる．

わがしもべダビデは彼らの王となる．彼らすべての者のために，ひとりの牧者が立つ．彼らはわがおきてに步み，わが定めを守って行う．

And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.

And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:

And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.

Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.

And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.

彼らはわがしもべヤコブに，わたしが與えた地に住む．これはあなたがたの先祖の住んだ所である．そこに彼らと，その子らと，その子孫とが永遠に住み，わがしもべダビデが，永遠に彼らの君となる．

わたしは彼らと平和の契約を結ぶ．これは彼らの永遠の契約となる．わたしは彼らを祝福し，彼らをふやし，わが聖所を永遠に彼らの中に置く．

わがすみかは彼らと共にあり，わたしは彼らの神となり，彼らはわが民となる．

そしてわが聖所が永遠に，彼らのうちにあるようになるとき，諸國民は主なるわたしが，イスラエルを聖別する者であることを悟る」．

And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.

Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.

My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
