- 酒は 人をあざける 者とし， 濃い 酒は 人をあばれ 者とする， これに 迷わされる 者は 無知である．
- 王の 怒りは， ししがほえるようだ， 彼を 怒らせる 者は 自分の 命をそこなう．
- 爭いに 關係しないことは 人の 譽である， すべて 愚かな 者は 怒り 爭う．
- なまけ 者は 寒いときに 耕さない， それゆえ 刈入れのときになって， 求めても 何もない．
- 人の 心にある 計りごとは 深い 井戶の 水のようだ， しかし， さとき 人はこれをくみ 出す．
