	다니엘 10:1-12:13 다니엘은 힛데겔 강가에서 금식 기도하던 중 인자의 환상을 보았다. 이 때 다니엘은 천사로부터 바사 제국의 멸망과 헬라의 등장, 헬라의 부흥과 멸망, 남방과 북방간의 전쟁, 새로운 북방 왕이 유대인을 박해하고 성전을 모독할 것에 대한 예언과 마지막 날에 있을 일들에 대한 예언을 받았다.

	힛데겔 강가의 묵시(10:1-12:13)

ペルシャの王クロスの第三年に，ベルテシャザルと名づけられたダニエルに，一つの言葉が啓示されたが，その言葉は眞實であり，大いなる戰いを意味するものであった．彼はその言葉に心を留め，その幻を悟った．

そのころ，われダニエルは三週の間，悲しんでいた．

すなわち三週間の全く滿ちるまでは，うまい物を食べず，肉と酒とを口にせず，また身に油を塗らなかった．

正月の二十四日に，わたしがチグリスという大川の岸に立っていたとき，

目をあげて望み見ると，ひとりの人がいて，亞麻布の衣を着，ウパズの金の帶を腰にしめていた．

In the third year of Cyrus king of Persia a thing was revealed unto Daniel, whose name was called Belteshazzar; and the thing was true, but the time appointed was long: and he understood the thing, and had understanding of the vision.

In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks.

I ate no pleasant bread, neither came flesh nor wine in my mouth, neither did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.

And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which is Hiddekel;

Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz:

そのからだは綠柱石のごとく，その顔は電光のごとく，その目は燃えるたいまつのごとく，その腕と足は，みがいた靑銅のように輝き，その言葉の聲は，群衆の聲のようであった．

この幻を見た者は，われダニエルのみであって，わたしと共にいた人¿は，この幻を見なかったが，彼らは大いにおののいて，逃げかくれた．

それでわたしひとり殘って，この大いなる幻を見たので，力が拔け去り，わが顔の輝きは恐ろしく變って，全く力がなくなった．

わたしはその言葉の聲を聞いたが，その言葉の聲を聞いたとき，顔を伏せ，地にひれ伏して，深い眠りに陷った．

見よ，一つの手があって，わたしに觸れたので，わたしは震えながらひざまずき，手をつくと，

His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.

And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.

Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.

Yet heard I the voice of his words: and when I heard the voice of his words, then was I in a deep sleep on my face, and my face toward the ground.

And, behold, an hand touched me, which set me upon my knees and upon the palms of my hands.

彼はわたしに言った，「大いに愛せられる人ダニエルよ，わたしがあなたに告げる言葉に心を留め，立ちあがりなさい．わたしは今あなたのもとにつかわされたのです」．彼がこの言葉をわたしに告げているとき，わたしは震えながら立ちあがった．

すると彼はわたしに言った，「ダニエルよ，恐れるに及ばない．あなたが悟ろうと心をこめ，あなたの神の前に身を惱ましたその初めの日から，あなたの言葉は，すでに聞かれたので，わたしは，あなたの言葉のゆえにきたのです．

ペルシャの國の君が，二十一日の間わたしの前に立ちふさがったが，天使の長のひとりであるミカエルがきて，わたしを助けたので，わたしは，彼をペルシャの國の君と共に，そこに殘しておき，

末の日に，あなたの民に臨まんとする事を，あなたに悟らせるためにきたのです．この幻は，なおきたるべき日にかかわるものです」．

彼がこれらの言葉を，わたしに述べていたとき，わたしは，地にひれ伏して默っていたが，

And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling.

Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.

But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in the latter days: for yet the vision is for many days.

And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb.

見よ，人の子のような者が，わたしのくちびるにさわったので，わたしは口を開き，わが前に立っている者に語って言った，「わが主よ，この幻によって，苦しみがわたしに臨み，全く力を失いました．

わが主のしもべは，どうしてわが主と語ることができましょう．わたしは全く力を失い，息も止まるばかりです」．

人の形をした者は，再びわたしにさわり，わたしを力づけて，

言った，「大いに愛せられる人よ，恐れるには及ばない．安心しなさい．心を强くし，勇氣を出しなさい」．彼がこう言ったとき，わたしは力づいて言った，「わが主よ，語ってください．あなたは，わたしに力をつけてくださったから」．

そこで彼は言った，「あなたは，わたしがなんのためにきたかを知っていますか．わたしは，今歸っていって，ペルシャの君と戰おうとしているのです．彼との戰いがすむと，ギリシヤの君があらわれるでしょう．

And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.

For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.

Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me,

And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.

Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo, the prince of Grecia shall come.

しかしわたしは，まず眞理の書にしるされている事を，あなたに告げよう．わたしを助けて，彼らと戰う者は，あなたがたの君ミカエルのほかにはありません．

But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.

わたしはまたメデアびとダリヨスの元年に立って彼を强め，彼を力づけたことがあります．

わたしは今あなたに眞理を示そう．見よ，ペルシャになお三人の王が起るでしょう．その第四の者は，他のすべての者にまさって富み，その富によって强くなったとき，彼はすべてのものを動員して，ギリシヤの國を攻めます．

またひとりの勇ましい王が起り，大いなる權力をもって世を治め，その意のままに事をなすでしょう．

彼が强くなった時，その國は破られ，天の四方に分かたれます．それは彼の子孫に歸せず，また彼が治めたほどの權力もなく，彼の國は拔き取られて，これら以外の者どもに歸するでしょう．

南の王は强くなります．しかしその將軍のひとりが，彼にまさって强くなり，權力をふるいます．その權力は，大いなる權力です．

Also I in the first year of Darius the Mede, even I, stood to confirm and to strengthen him.

And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia.

And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.

And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those.

And the king of the south shall be strong, and one of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion.

年を經て後，彼らは緣組をなし，南の王の娘が，北の王にきて，和親をはかります．しかしその女は，その腕の力を保つことができず，またその王も，その子も立つことができません．その女と，その從者と，その子およびその女を獲た者とは，わたされるでしょう．

そのころ，この女の根から，一つの芽が起って彼に代り，北の王の軍勢にむかってきて，その城に討ち入り，これを攻めて勝つでしょう．

彼はまた彼らの神¿，鑄像および金銀の貴重な器物を，エジプトに携え去り，そして數年の間，北の王を討つことを控えます．

その後，北の王は，南の王の國に討ち入るが，自分の國に歸るでしょう．

And in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king's daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times.

But out of a branch of her roots shall one stand up in his estate, which shall come with an army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail:

And shall also carry captives into Egypt their gods, with their princes, and with their precious vessels of silver and of gold; and he shall continue more years than the king of the north.

So the king of the south shall come into his kingdom, and shall return into his own land.

But his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces: and one shall certainly come, and overflow, and pass through: then shall he return, and be stirred up, even to his fortress.

そこで南の王は，大いに怒り，出てきて北の王と戰います．彼は大軍を起すけれども，その軍は相手の手にわたされるでしょう．

彼がその軍を打ち破ったとき，その心は高ぶり，數万人を倒します．しかし，勝つことはありません．

それは北の王がまた初めよりも大いなる軍を起し，數年の後，大いなる軍勢と多くの軍需品とをもって，攻めて來るからです．

そのころ多くの者が起って，南の王に敵します．またあなたの民のうちのあらくれ者が，みずから高ぶって事をなし，幻を成就しようとするが失敗するでしょう．

こうして北の王がきて，壘を築き，堅固な町を取るが，南の王の力は，これに立ち向かうことができず，またそのえり拔きの民も，これに立ち向かう力がありません．

And the king of the south shall be moved with choler, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the north: and he shall set forth a great multitude; but the multitude shall be given into his hand.

And when he hath taken away the multitude, his heart shall be lifted up; and he shall cast down many ten thousands: but he shall not be strengthened by it.

For the king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former, and shall certainly come after certain years with a great army and with much riches.

And in those times there shall many stand up against the king of the south: also the robbers of thy people shall exalt themselves to establish the vision; but they shall fall.

So the king of the north shall come, and cast up a mount, and take the most fenced cities: and the arms of the south shall not withstand, neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to withstand.

これに攻めて來る者は，その心のままに事をなし，その前に立ち向かうことのできる者はなく，彼は麗しい地に立ち，その地は全く彼のために荒されます．

彼は全國の力をもって討ち入ろうと，その顔を向けるが，相手と仲直りをし，その娘を與えて，その國を取ろうとします．しかし，その事は成らず，また彼の利益にはならないでしょう．

その後，彼は顔を海沿いの國¿に向けて，その多くのものを取ります．しかし，ひとりの大將があって，彼が與えた恥辱をそそぎ，その恥辱を彼の上に返します．

こうして彼は，その顔を自分の國の要害に向けるが，彼はつまずき倒れて消えうせるでしょう．

彼に代って起る者は，榮光の國に人をつかわして，租稅を取り立てさせるでしょう．しかし彼は，怒りにも戰いにもよらず，數日のうちに滅ぼされます．

But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed.

He shall also set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; thus shall he do: and he shall give him the daughter of women, corrupting her: but she shall not stand on his side, neither be for him.

After this shall he turn his face unto the isles, and shall take many: but a prince for his own behalf shall cause the reproach offered by him to cease; without his own reproach he shall cause it to turn upon him.

Then he shall turn his face toward the fort of his own land: but he shall stumble and fall, and not be found.

Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.

彼に代って起る者は，卑しむべき者であって，彼には，王の尊嚴が與えられず，彼は不意にきて，巧言をもって國を獲るでしょう．

洪水のような軍勢は，彼の前に押し流されて敗られ，契約の君たる者もまた敗られるでしょう．

彼は，これと同盟を結んで後，僞りのおこないをなし，わずかな民をもって强くなり，

不意にその州の最も肥えた所に攻め入り，その父も，その父の父もしなかった事をおこない，その奪った物，かすめた物および財寶を，人¿の中に散らすでしょう．彼はまた計略をめぐらして，堅固な城を攻めるが，ただし，それは時の至るまでです．

彼はその勢力と勇氣とを奮い起し，大軍を率いて南の王を攻めます．南の王もまたみずから奮い，はなはだ大いなる强力な軍勢をもって戰います．しかし，彼に對して，陰謀をめぐらす者があるので，これに立ち向かうことができません．

And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.

And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.

And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.

He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time.

And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him.

すなわち彼の食物を食べる者たちが，彼を滅ぼします．そして，その軍勢は押し流されて，多くの者が倒れ死ぬでしょう．

このふたりの王は，害を與えようと心にはかり，ひとつ食卓に共に食して，僞りを語るが，それは成功しません．終りはなお定まった時の來るまでこないからです．

彼は大いなる財寶をもって，自分の國に歸るでしょう．しかし，彼の心は聖なる契約にそむき，ほしいままに事をなして，自分の國に歸ります．

定まった時になって，彼はまた南に討ち入ります．しかし，この時は前の時のようではありません．

それはキッテムの船が，彼に立ち向かって來るので，彼は脅かされて歸り，聖なる契約に對して憤り，事を行うでしょう．彼は歸っていって，聖なる契約を捨てる者を顧み用いるでしょう．

Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain.

And both of these kings' hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.

Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be against the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land.

At the time appointed he shall return, and come toward the south; but it shall not be as the former, or as the latter.

For the ships of Chittim shall come against him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant.

彼から軍勢が起って，神殿と城郭を汚し，常供の §祭を取り除き，荒す憎むべきものを立てるでしょう．

彼は契約を破る者どもを，巧言をもってそそのかし，そむかせるが，自分の神を知る民は，堅く立って事を行います．

民のうちの賢い人¿は，多くの人を悟りに至らせます．それでも，彼らはしばらくの間，やいばにかかり，火に燒かれ，捕われ，かすめられなどして倒れます．

その倒れるとき，彼らは少しの助けを獲ます．また多くの人が，巧言をもって彼らにくみするでしょう．

また賢い者のうちのある者は，終りの時まで，自分を練り，淸め，白くするために倒れるでしょう．終りはなお定まった時の來るまでこないからです．

And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.

And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.

Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.

And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.

この王は，その心のままに事をおこない，すべての神を越えて，自分を高くし，自分を大いにし，神¿の神たる者にむかって，驚くべき事を語り，憤りのやむ時まで榮えるでしょう．これは定められた事が成就するからです．

彼はその先祖の神¿を顧みず，また婦人の好む者も，いかなる神をも顧みないでしょう．彼はすべてにまさって，自分を大いなる者とするからです．

彼はこれらの者の代りに，要害の神をあがめ，金，銀，寶石，および寶物をもって，その先祖たちの知らなかった神をあがめ，

異邦の神の助けによって，最も强固な城にむかって，事をなすでしょう．そして彼を認める者には，榮譽を增し與え，これに多くの人を治めさせ，賞與として土地を分け與えるでしょう．

終りの時になって，南の王は彼と戰います．北の王は，戰車と騎兵と，多くの船をもって，つむじ風のように彼を攻め，國¿にはいっていって，みなぎりあふれ，通り過ぎるでしょう．

And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.

Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.

And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.

彼はまた麗しい國にはいります．また彼によって，多くの者が滅ぼされます．しかし，エドム，モアブ，アンモンびとらのうちのおもな者は，彼の手から救われましょう．

彼は國¿にその手を伸ばし，エジプトの地も免れません．

彼は金銀の財寶と，エジプトのすべての寶物を支配し，リビヤびと，エチオピヤびとは，彼のあとに從います．

しかし東と北からの知らせが彼を驚かし，彼は多くの人を滅ぼし絶やそうと，大いなる怒りをもって出て行きます．

彼は海と麗しい聖山との間に，天幕の宮殿を設けるでしょう．しかし，彼はついにその終りにいたり，彼を助ける者はないでしょう．

He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.

He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.

But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.

And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

その時あなたの民を守っている大いなる君ミカエルが立ちあがります．また國が始まってから，その時にいたるまで，かつてなかったほどの惱みの時があるでしょう．しかし，その時あなたの民は救われます．すなわちあの書に名をしるされた者は皆救われます．

また地のちりの中に眠っている者のうち，多くの者は目をさますでしょう．そのうち永遠の生命にいたる者もあり，また恥と，限りなき恥辱をうける者もあるでしょう．

賢い者は，大空の輝きのように輝き，また多くの人を義に導く者は，星のようになって永遠にいたるでしょう．

ダニエルよ，あなたは終りの時までこの言葉を秘し，この書を封じておきなさい．多くの者は，あちこちと探り調べ，そして知識が增すでしょう」．

そこで，われダニエルが見ていると，ほかにまたふたりの者があって，ひとりは川のこなたの岸に，ひとりは川のかなたの岸に立っていた．

And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.

わたしは，かの亞麻布を着て川の水の上にいる人にむかって言った，「この異常なできごとは，いつになって終るでしょうか」と．

かの亞麻布を着て，川の水の上にいた人が，天に向かって，その右の手と左の手をあげ，永遠に生ける者をさして誓い，それは，ひと時とふた時と半時である．聖なる民を打ち ¿く力が消え去る時に，これらの事はみな成就するだろうと言うのを，わたしは聞いた．

わたしはこれを聞いたけれども悟れなかった．わたしは言った，「わが主よ，これらの事の結末はどんなでしょうか」．

彼は言った，「ダニエルよ，あなたの道を行きなさい．この言葉は終りの時まで秘し，かつ封じておかれます．

多くの者は，自分を淸め，自分を白くし，かつ練られるでしょう．しかし，惡い者は惡い事をおこない，ひとりも悟ることはないが，賢い者は悟るでしょう．

And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?

And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?

And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

常供の §祭が取り除かれ，荒す憎むべきものが立てられる時から，千二百九十日が定められている．

待っていて千三百三十五日に至る者はさいわいです．

しかし，終りまであなたの道を行きなさい．あなたは休みに入り，定められた日の終りに立って，あなたの分を受けるでしょう」．

And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.
