- イエス がある 町におられた 時， 全身らい 病になっている 人がそこにいた． イエス を 見ると， 顔を 地に 伏せて 願って 言った， 「主よ， みこころでしたら， きよめていただけるのですが 」．
- イエス は 手を 伸ばして 彼にさわり， 「そうしてあげよう， きよくなれ 」と 言われた． すると， らい 病がただちに 去ってしまった．
- イエス は， だれにも 話さないようにと 彼に 言い 聞かせ， 「ただ 行って 自分のからだを 祭司に 見せ， それからあなたのきよめのため， モ ― セ が 命じたとおりのささげ 物をして， 人¿に 證明しなさい 」とお 命じになった．
- しかし， イエス の 評判はますますひろまって 行き， おびただしい 群衆が， 敎を 聞いたり， 病氣をなおしてもらったりするために， 集まってきた．
- しかし イエス は， 寂しい 所に 退いて 祈っておられた．

- While He was in one of the cities, behold, there was a man covered with leprosy; and when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean."
- And He stretched out His hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed." And immediately the leprosy left him.
- And He ordered him to tell no one, "But go and show yourself to the priest and make an offering for your cleansing, just as Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."
- But the news about Him was spreading even farther, and large crowds were gathering to hear Him and to be healed of their sicknesses.
- But Jesus Himself would often slip away to the wilderness and pray.

- ある 日のこと， イエス が 敎えておられると， ガリラヤ や ユダヤ の 方¿の 村から， また エルサレム からきた パリサイ 人や 律法學者たちが， そこにすわっていた． 主の 力が ¿いて， イエス は 人¿をいやされた．
- その 時， ある 人¿が， ひとりの 中風をわずらっている 人を 床にのせたまま 連れてきて， 家の 中に 運び 入れ， イエス の 前に 置こうとした．
- ところが， 群衆のためにどうしても 運び 入れる 方法がなかったので， 屋根にのぼり， 瓦をはいで， 病人を 床ごと 群衆のまん 中につりおろして， イエス の 前においた．
- イエス は 彼らの 信仰を 見て， 「人よ， あなたの 罪はゆるされた 」と 言われた．
- すると 律法學者と パリサイ 人たちとは， 「神を 汚すことを 言うこの 人は， いったい， 何者だ． 神おひとりのほかに， だれが 罪をゆるすことができるか 」と 言って 論じはじめた．

- One day He was teaching; and there were some Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting there, who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem; and the power of the Lord was present for Him to perform healing.
- And some men were carrying on a bed a man who was paralyzed; and they were trying to bring him in and to set him down in front of Him.
- But not finding any way to bring him in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down through the tiles with his stretcher, into the middle of the crowd, in front of Jesus.
- Seeing their faith, He said, "Friend, your sins are forgiven you."
- The scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, "Who is this man who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?"

- イエス は 彼らの 論議を 見ぬいて， 「あなたがたは 心の 中で 何を 論じているのか．
- あなたの 罪はゆるされたと 言うのと， 起きて 步けと 言うのと， どちらがたやすいか．
- しかし， 人の 子は 地上で 罪をゆるす 權威を 持っていることが， あなたがたにわかるために 」と 彼らに 對して 言い， 中風の 者にむかって， 「あなたに 命じる． 起きよ， 床を 取り 上げて 家に 歸れ 」と 言われた．
- すると 病人は 卽座にみんなの 前で 起きあがり， 寢ていた 床を 取りあげて， 神をあがめながら 家に 歸って 行った．
- みんなの 者は 驚嘆してしまった． そして 神をあがめ， おそれに 滿たされて， 「きょうは 驚くべきことを 見た 」と 言った．

- But Jesus, aware of their reasonings, answered and said to them, "Why are you reasoning in your hearts?
- "Which is easier, to say, 'Your sins have been forgiven you,' or to say, 'Get up and walk'?
- "But, so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,"--He said to the paralytic--"I say to you, get up, and pick up your stretcher and go home."
- Immediately he got up before them, and picked up what he had been lying on, and went home glorifying God.
- They were all struck with astonishment and began glorifying God; and they were filled with fear, saying, "We have seen remarkable things today."
