- そののち， イエス は ガリラヤ を 巡回しておられた． ユダヤ 人たちが 自分を 殺そうとしていたので， ユダヤ を 巡回しようとはされなかった．
- 時に， ユダヤ 人の 假庵の 祭が 近づいていた．
- そこで， イエス の 兄弟たちが イエス に 言った， 「あなたがしておられるわざを 弟子たちにも 見せるために， ここを 去り ユダヤ に 行ってはいかがです．
- 自分を 公けにあらわそうと 思っている 人で， 隱れて 仕事をするものはありません． あなたがこれらのことをするからには， 自分をはっきりと 世にあらわしなさい 」．
- こう 言ったのは， 兄弟たちも イエス を 信じていなかったからである．

- After these things Jesus was walking in Galilee, for He was unwilling to walk in Judea because the Jews were seeking to kill Him.
- Now the feast of the Jews, the Feast of Booths, was near.
- Therefore His brothers said to Him, "Leave here and go into Judea, so that Your disciples also may see Your works which You are doing.
- "For no one does anything in secret when he himself seeks to be known publicly. If You do these things, show Yourself to the world."
- For not even His brothers were believing in Him.

- そこで イエス は 彼らに 言われた， 「わたしの 時はまだきていない． しかし， あなたがたの 時はいつも 備わっている．
- 世はあなたがたを 憎み 得ないが， わたしを 憎んでいる． わたしが 世のおこないの 惡いことを， あかししているからである．
- あなたがたこそ 祭に 行きなさい． わたしはこの 祭には 行かない． わたしの 時はまだ 滿ちていないから 」．
- 彼らにこう 言って， イエス は ガリラヤ にとどまっておられた．
- しかし， 兄弟たちが 祭に 行ったあとで， イエス も 人目にたたぬように， ひそかに 行かれた．

- So Jesus said to them, "My time is not yet here, but your time is always opportune.
- "The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of it, that its deeds are evil.
- "Go up to the feast yourselves; I do not go up to this feast because My time has not yet fully come."
- Having said these things to them, He stayed in Galilee.
- But when His brothers had gone up to the feast, then He Himself also went up, not publicly, but as if, in secret.

- ユダヤ 人らは 祭の 時に， 「あの 人はどこにいるのか 」と 言って， イエス を 搜していた．
- 群衆の 中に， イエス についていろいろとうわさが 立った． ある 人¿は， 「あれはよい 人だ 」と 言い， 他の 人¿は， 「いや， あれは 群衆を 惑わしている 」と 言った．
- しかし， ユダヤ 人らを 恐れて， イエス のことを 公然と 口にする 者はいなかった．
- 祭も 半ばになってから， イエス は 宮に 上って 敎え 始められた．
- すると， ユダヤ 人たちは 驚いて 言った， 「この 人は 學問をしたこともないのに， どうして 律法の 知識をもっているのだろう 」．

- So the Jews were seeking Him at the feast and were saying, "Where is He?"
- There was much grumbling among the crowds concerning Him; some were saying, "He is a good man"; others were saying, "No, on the contrary, He leads the people astray."
- Yet no one was speaking openly of Him for fear of the Jews.
- But when it was now the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and began to teach.
- The Jews then were astonished, saying, "How has this man become learned, having never been educated?"

- そこで イエス は 彼らに 答えて 言われた， 「わたしの 敎はわたし 自身の 敎ではなく， わたしをつかわされたかたの 敎である．
- 神のみこころを 行おうと 思う 者であれば， だれでも， わたしの 語っているこの 敎が 神からのものか， それとも， わたし 自身から 出たものか， わかるであろう．
- 自分から 出たことを 語る 者は， 自分の 榮光を 求めるが， 自分をつかわされたかたの 榮光を 求める 者は 眞實であって， その 人の 內には 僞りがない．
- モ ― セ はあなたがたに 律法を 與えたではないか． それだのに， あなたがたのうちには， その 律法を 行う 者がひとりもない． あなたがたは， なぜわたしを 殺そうと 思っているのか 」．
- 群衆は 答えた， 「あなたは 惡靈に 取りつかれている． だれがあなたを 殺そうと 思っているものか 」．

- So Jesus answered them and said, "My teaching is not Mine, but His who sent Me.
- "If anyone is willing to do His will, he will know of the teaching, whether it is of God or whether I speak from Myself.
- "He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who is seeking the glory of the One who sent Him, He is true, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.
- "Did not Moses give you the Law, and yet none of you carries out the Law? Why do you seek to kill Me?"
- The crowd answered, "You have a demon! Who seeks to kill You?"

- イエス は 彼らに 答えて 言われた， 「わたしが 一つのわざをしたところ， あなたがたは 皆それを 見て 驚いている．
- モ ― セ はあなたがたに 割禮を 命じたので， （これは， 實は， モ ― セ から 始まったのではなく， 先祖たちから 始まったものである ）あなたがたは 安息日にも 人に 割禮を 施している．
- もし， モ ― セ の 律法が 破られないように， 安息日であっても 割禮を 受けるのなら， 安息日に 人の 全身を 丈夫にしてやったからといって， どうして， そんなにおこるのか．
- うわべで 人をさばかないで， 正しいさばきをするがよい 」．

- Jesus answered them, "I did one deed, and you all marvel.
- "For this reason Moses has given you circumcision (not because it is from Moses, but from the fathers), and on the Sabbath you circumcise a man.
- "If a man receives circumcision on the Sabbath so that the Law of Moses will not be broken, are you angry with Me because I made an entire man well on the Sabbath?
- "Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment."
