	역대상 28:1-29:30 국가 조직 정비를 마친 다윗은 솔로몬과 방백들을 마지막으로 한자리에 모아 놓고, 하나님의 계명을 철저히 준수할 것과 하나님의 대사업인 성전 건축 완수를 당부하였다. 또한 다윗은 몸소 성전 건축을 위한 막대한 헌물을 드렸다. 그리고 솔로몬이 이스라엘 왕으로 기름 부음 받은 후에 임종하였다.

	다윗의 유언(28:1-28:21)

ダビデはイスラエルのすべての長官，すなわち部族の長，王に仕えた組の長，千人の長，百人の長，王とその子たちのすべての財産および家畜のつかさ，宦官，有力者，勇士などをことごとくエルサレムに召し集めた．

そしてダビデ王はその足で立ち上がって言った，「わが兄弟たち，わが民よ，わたしに聞きなさい．わたしは主の契約の箱のため，われわれの神の足台のために安住の家を建てようとの志をもち，すでにこれを建てる準備をした．

Now David assembled at Jerusalem all the officials of Israel, the princes of the tribes, and the commanders of the divisions that served the king, and the commanders of thousands, and the commanders of hundreds, and the overseers of all the property and livestock belonging to the king and his sons, with the officials and the mighty men, even all the valiant men.

Then King David rose to his feet and said, "Listen to me, my brethren and my people; I had intended to build a permanent home for the ark of the covenant of the LORD and for the footstool of our God. So I had made preparations to build it.

"But God said to me, 'You shall not build a house for My name because you are a man of war and have shed blood.'

"Yet, the LORD, the God of Israel, chose me from all the house of my father to be king over Israel forever For He has chosen Judah to be a leader; and in the house of Judah, my father's house, and among the sons of my father He took pleasure in me to make me king over all Israel.

"Of all my sons (for the LORD has given me many sons), He has chosen my son Solomon to sit on the throne of the kingdom of the LORD over Israel.

主はまたわたしに言われた，『おまえの子ソロモンがわが家およびわが庭を造るであろう．わたしは彼を選んでわが子となしたからである．わたしは彼の父となる．

彼がもし今日のように，わが戒めとわがおきてを固く守って行うならば，わたしはその國をいつまでも堅くするであろう』と．

"He said to me, 'Your son Solomon is the one who shall build My house and My courts; for I have chosen him to be a son to Me, and I will be a father to him.

'I will establish his kingdom forever if he resolutely performs My commandments and My ordinances, as is done now.'

"So now, in the sight of all Israel, the assembly of the LORD, and in the hearing of our God, observe and seek after all the commandments of the LORD your God so that you may possess the good land and bequeath it to your sons after you forever.

"As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a whole heart and a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts If you seek Him, He will let you find Him; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever.

"Consider now, for the LORD has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary; be courageous and act."

こうしてダビデは神殿の廊およびその家，その倉，その上の室，その內の室， ·罪所の室などの計畵をその子ソロモンに授け，

またその心にあったすべてのもの，すなわち主の宮の庭，周圍のすべての室，神の家の倉，ささげ物の倉などの計畵を授け，

またもろもろの勤めに用いるすべての金の器を造る金の目方，およびもろもろの勤めに用いる銀の器の目方を定めた．

すなわち金の燭台と，そのともしび皿の目方，おのおのの燭台と，そのともしび皿の金の目方を定め，また銀の燭台についてもおのおのの燭台の用法にしたがって燭台と，そのともしび皿の銀の目方を定めた．

Then David gave to his son Solomon the plan of the porch of the temple, its buildings, its storehouses, its upper rooms, its inner rooms and the room for the mercy seat;

and the plan of all that he had in mind, for the courts of the house of the LORD, and for all the surrounding rooms, for the storehouses of the house of God and for the storehouses of the dedicated things;

also for the divisions of the priests and the Levites and for all the work of the service of the house of the LORD and for all the utensils of service in the house of the LORD;

for the golden utensils, the weight of gold for all utensils for every kind of service; for the silver utensils, the weight of silver for all utensils for every kind of service;

and the weight of gold for the golden lampstands and their golden lamps, with the weight of each lampstand and its lamps; and the weight of silver for the silver lampstands, with the weight of each lampstand and its lamps according to the use of each lampstand;

また供えのパンの机については，そのおのおのの机のために金の目方を定め，また銀の机のためにも銀を定め，

また肉さし，鉢，かめに用いる純金の目方を定め，金の大杯についてもおのおのの目方を定め，銀の大杯についてもおのおのの目方を定め，

また香の祭壇のために精金の目方を定め，また翼を伸べて主の契約の箱をおおっているケルビムの金の車のひな型の金を定めた．

ダビデはすべての工作が計畵にしたがってなされるため，これについて主の手によって書かれたものにより，これをことごとく明らかにした．

and the gold by weight for the tables of showbread, for each table; and silver for the silver tables;

and the forks, the basins, and the pitchers of pure gold; and for the golden bowls with the weight for each bowl; and for the silver bowls with the weight for each bowl;

and for the altar of incense refined gold by weight; and gold for the model of the chariot, even the cherubim that spread out their wings and covered the ark of the covenant of the LORD.

"All this," said David, "the LORD made me understand in writing by His hand upon me, all the details of this pattern."

Then David said to his son Solomon, "Be strong and courageous, and act; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the LORD God, my God, is with you He will not fail you nor forsake you until all the work for the service of the house of the LORD is finished.

見よ，神の宮のすべての務のためには祭司とレビびとの組がある．またもろもろの勤めのためにすべての仕事を喜んでする巧みな者が皆あなたと共にある．またつかさたちおよびすべての民もあなたの命じるところをことごとく行うでしょう」．

"Now behold, there are the divisions of the priests and the Levites for all the service of the house of God, and every willing man of any skill will be with you in all the work for all kinds of service. The officials also and all the people will be entirely at your command."

	성전 건축을 위한 헌물(29:1-29:30)

ダビデ王はまた全會衆に言った，「わが子ソロモンは神がただひとりを選ばれた者であるが，まだ若くて經驗がなく，この事業は大きい．この宮は人のためではなく，主なる神のためだからである．

そこでわたしは力をつくして神の宮のために備えた．すなわち金の物を造るために金，銀の物のために銀，靑銅の物のために靑銅，鐵の物のために鐵，木の物のために木を備えた．その他縞めのう，はめ石，アンチモニイ，色のついた石，さまざまの寶石，大理石などおびただしい．

なおわたしはわが神の宮に熱心なるがゆえに，聖なる家のために備えたすべての物に加えて，わたしの持っている金銀の財寶をわが神の宮にささげる．

すなわちオフルの金三千タラント，精銀七千タラントをそのもろもろの建物の壁をおおうためにささげる．

金は金の物のために，銀は銀の物のために，すべて工人によって造られるもののために用いる．だれかきょう，主にその身をささげる者のように喜んでささげ物をするだろうか」．

Then King David said to the entire assembly, "My son Solomon, whom alone God has chosen, is still young and inexperienced and the work is great; for the temple is not for man, but for the LORD God.

"Now with all my ability I have provided for the house of my God the gold for the things of gold, and the silver for the things of silver, and the bronze for the things of bronze, the iron for the things of iron, and wood for the things of wood, onyx stones and inlaid stones, stones of antimony and stones of various colors, and all kinds of precious stones and alabaster in abundance.

"Moreover, in my delight in the house of my God, the treasure I have of gold and silver, I give to the house of my God, over and above all that I have already provided for the holy temple,

namely, 3,000 talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and 7,000 talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the buildings;

of gold for the things of gold and of silver for the things of silver, that is, for all the work done by the craftsmen. Who then is willing to consecrate himself this day to the LORD?"

そこで氏族の長たち，イスラエルの部族のつかさたち，千人の長，百人の長および王の工事をつかさどる者たちは喜んでささげ物をした．

こうして彼らは神の宮の務のために金五千タラント一万ダリク，銀一万タラント，靑銅一万八千タラント，鐵十万タラントをささげた．

Then the rulers of the fathers' households, and the princes of the tribes of Israel, and the commanders of thousands and of hundreds, with the overseers over the king's work, offered willingly;

and for the service for the house of God they gave 5,000 talents and 10,000 darics of gold, and 10,000 talents of silver, and 18,000 talents of brass, and 100,000 talents of iron.

Whoever possessed precious stones gave them to the treasury of the house of the LORD, in care of Jehiel the Gershonite.

Then the people rejoiced because they had offered so willingly, for they made their offering to the LORD with a whole heart, and King David also rejoiced greatly.

So David blessed the LORD in the sight of all the assembly; and David said, "Blessed are You, O LORD God of Israel our father, forever and ever.

主よ，大いなることと，力と，榮光と，勝利と，威光とはあなたのものです．天にあるもの，地にあるものも皆あなたのものです．主よ，國もまたあなたのものです．あなたは万有のかしらとして，あがめられます．

富と譽とはあなたから出ます．あなたは万有をつかさどられます．あなたの手には勢いと力があります．あなたの手はすべてのものを大いならしめ，强くされます．

われわれの神よ，われわれは，いま，あなたに感謝し，あなたの光榮ある名をたたえます．

しかしわれわれがこのように喜んでささげることができても，わたしは何者でしょう．わたしの民は何でしょう．すべての物はあなたから出ます．われわれはあなたから受けて，あなたにささげたのです．

われわれはあなたの前ではすべての先祖たちのように，旅びとです，寄留者です．われわれの世にある日は影のようで，長くとどまることはできません．

"Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and the earth; Yours is the dominion, O LORD, and You exalt Yourself as head over all.

"Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all, and in Your hand is power and might; and it lies in Your hand to make great and to strengthen everyone.

"Now therefore, our God, we thank You, and praise Your glorious name.

"But who am I and who are my people that we should be able to offer as generously as this? For all things come from You, and from Your hand we have given You.

"For we are sojourners before You, and tenants, as all our fathers were; our days on the earth are like a shadow, and there is no hope.

われわれの神，主よ，あなたの聖なる名のために，あなたに家を建てようとしてわれわれが備えたこの多くの物は皆あなたの手から出たもの，また皆あなたのものです．

わが神よ，あなたは心をためし，また正直を喜ばれることを，わたしは知っています．わたしは正しい心で，このすべての物を喜んでささげました．今わたしはまた，ここにおるあなたの民が喜んで，みずから進んであなたにささげ物をするのを見ました．

われわれの先祖アブラハム，イサク，イスラエルの神，主よ，あなたの民の心にこの意志と精神とをいつまでも保たせ，その心をあなたに向けさせてください．

またわが子ソロモンに心をつくしてあなたの命令と，あなたのあかしと，あなたのさだめとを守らせて，これをことごとく行わせ，わたしが備えをした宮を建てさせてください」．

そしてダビデが全會衆にむかって，「あなたがたの神，主をほめたたえよ」と言ったので，全會衆は先祖たちの神，主をほめたたえ，伏して主を拜し，王に敬禮した．

"O LORD our God, all this abundance that we have provided to build You a house for Your holy name, it is from Your hand, and all is Yours.

"Since I know, O my God, that You try the heart and delight in uprightness, I, in the integrity of my heart, have willingly offered all these things; so now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here, make their offerings willingly to You.

"O LORD, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, our fathers, preserve this forever in the intentions of the heart of Your people, and direct their heart to You;

and give to my son Solomon a perfect heart to keep Your commandments, Your testimonies and Your statutes, and to do them all, and to build the temple, for which I have made provision."

Then David said to all the assembly, "Now bless the LORD your God." And all the assembly blessed the LORD, the God of their fathers, and bowed low and did homage to the LORD and to the king.

そしてその翌日彼らは全イスラエルのために主に ¿牲をささげた．すなわち §祭として雄牛一千，雄羊一千，小羊一千をその灌祭と共に主にささげ，おびただしい ¿牲をささげた．

そしてその日，彼らは大いなる喜びをもって主の前に食い飮みした．彼らはさらに改めてダビデの子ソロモンを王となし，これに油を注いで主の君となし，またザドクを祭司とした．

On the next day they made sacrifices to the LORD and offered burnt offerings to the LORD, 1,000 bulls, 1,000 rams and 1,000 lambs, with their drink offerings and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel.

So they ate and drank that day before the LORD with great gladness. And they made Solomon the son of David king a second time, and they anointed him as ruler for the LORD and Zadok as priest.

Then Solomon sat on the throne of the LORD as king instead of David his father; and he prospered, and all Israel obeyed him.

All the officials, the mighty men, and also all the sons of King David pledged allegiance to King Solomon.

The LORD highly exalted Solomon in the sight of all Israel, and bestowed on him royal majesty which had not been on any king before him in Israel.

このようにエッサイの子ダビデは全イスラエルを治めた．

彼がイスラエルを治めた期間は四十年であった．すなわちヘブロンで七年世を治め，エルサレムで三十三年世を治めた．

彼は高齡に達し，年も富も譽も滿ち足りて死んだ．その子ソロモンが彼に代って王となった．

Now David the son of Jesse reigned over all Israel.

The period which he reigned over Israel was forty years; he reigned in Hebron seven years and in Jerusalem thirty-three years.

Then he died in a ripe old age, full of days, riches and honor; and his son Solomon reigned in his place.

Now the acts of King David, from first to last, are written in the chronicles of Samuel the seer, in the chronicles of Nathan the prophet and in the chronicles of Gad the seer,

with all his reign, his power, and the circumstances which came on him, on Israel, and on all the kingdoms of the lands.
