욥기 27:1-29:25

 욥은 계속해서 자신은 불의와 궤휼을 말하지 않고 자신의 의를 굳게 잡아 순전히 지켰다고 하였다. 그리고 하나님을 경외하는 것이 지혜이고, 악을 떠나는 것이 명철이라고 고백하였다. 그리고 시험받기 이전의 자신의 모습을 회상하면서, 하나님께서 자신을 보호해 주셨으며 자신도 왕처럼 현명하여 다른 사람들을 위로해 줄 수 있는 존재였다고 고백하였다.
  
  욥의 독백(27:1-29:25)    
 
  1. ヨブ はまた 言葉をついで 言った，
  2. 「神は 生きておられる． 彼はわたしの 義を 奪い 去られた． 全能者はわたしの 魂を 惱まされた．
  3. わたしの 息がわたしのうちにあり， ／神の 息がわたしの 鼻にある 間，
  4. わたしのくちびるは 不義を 言わない， ／わたしの 舌は 僞りを 語らない．
  5. わたしは 斷じて， あなたがたを 正しいとは 認めない． わたしは 死ぬまで， 潔白を 主張してやめない．
  1. Then Job continued his discourse and said,
  2. "As God lives, who has taken away my right, And the Almighty, who has embittered my soul,
  3. For as long as life is in me, And the breath of God is in my nostrils,
  4. My lips certainly will not speak unjustly, Nor will my tongue mutter deceit.
  5. "Far be it from me that I should declare you right; Till I die I will not put away my integrity from me.
  1. わたしは 堅くわが 義を 保って 捨てない． わたしは 今まで 一日も 心に 責められた 事がない．
  2. どうか， わたしの 敵は 惡人のようになり， ／わたしに 逆らう 者は ／不義なる 者のようになるように．
  3. 神が 彼を 斷ち， その 魂を 拔きとられるとき， ／神を 信じない 者になんの 望みがあろう．
  4. 災が 彼に 臨むとき， ／神はその 叫びを 聞かれるであろうか．
  5. 彼は 全能者を 喜ぶであろうか， ／常に 神を 呼ぶであろうか．
  1. "I hold fast my righteousness and will not let it go. My heart does not reproach any of my days.
  2. "May my enemy be as the wicked And my opponent as the unjust.
  3. "For what is the hope of the godless when he is cut off, When God requires his life?
  4. "Will God hear his cry When distress comes upon him?
  5. "Will he take delight in the Almighty? Will he call on God at all times?
  1. わたしは 神のみ 手についてあなたがたに 敎え， ／全能者と 共にあるものを 隱すことをしない．
  2. 見よ， あなたがたは 皆みずからこれを 見た， ／それなのに， どうしてむなしい 者となったのか．
  3. これは 惡人の 神から 受ける 分， ／壓制者の 全能者から 受ける 嗣業である．
  4. その 子らがふえればつるぎに 渡され， ／その 子孫は 食物に 飽きることがない．
  5. その 生き 殘った 者は 疫病で 死んで 埋められ， ／そのやもめらは 泣き 悲しむことをしない．
  1. "I will instruct you in the power of God; What is with the Almighty I will not conceal.
  2. "Behold, all of you have seen it; Why then do you act foolishly?
  3. "This is the portion of a wicked man from God, And the inheritance which tyrants receive from the Almighty.
  4. "Though his sons are many, they are destined for the sword; And his descendants will not be satisfied with bread.
  5. "His survivors will be buried because of the plague, And their widows will not be able to weep.
  1. たとい 彼は 銀をちりのように 積み， ／衣服を 土のように 備えても，
  2. その 備えるものは 正しい 人がこれを 着， ／その 銀は 罪なき 者が 分かち 取るであろう．
  3. 彼の 建てる 家は， くもの 巢のようであり， ／番人の 造る 小屋のようである．
  4. 彼は 富める 身で 寢ても， 再び 富むことがなく， ／目を 開けばその 富はない．
  5. 恐ろしい 事が 大水のように 彼を 襲い， ／夜はつむじ 風が 彼を 奪い 去る．
  1. "Though he piles up silver like dust And prepares garments as plentiful as the clay,
  2. He may prepare it, but the just will wear it And the innocent will divide the silver.
  3. "He has built his house like the spider's web, Or as a hut which the watchman has made.
  4. "He lies down rich, but never again; He opens his eyes, and it is no longer.
  5. "Terrors overtake him like a flood; A tempest steals him away in the night.
  1. 東風が 彼を 揚げると， 彼は 去り， ／彼をその 所から 吹き 拂う．
  2. それは 彼を 投げつけて， あわれむことなく， ／彼はその 力からのがれようと， もがく．
  3. それは 彼に 向かって 手を 鳴らし， ／あざけり 笑って， その 所から 出て 行かせる．
  1. "The east wind carries him away, and he is gone, For it whirls him away from his place.
  2. "For it will hurl at him without sparing; He will surely try to flee from its power.
  3. "Men will clap their hands at him And will hiss him from his place.
 
 
  1. しろがねには 掘り 出す 穴があり， ／精鍊するこがねには 出どころがある．
  2. くろがねは 土から 取り， ／あかがねは 石から 溶かして 取る．
  3. 人は 暗やみを 破り， ／いやはてまでも 尋ねきわめて， ／暗やみおよび 暗黑の 中から 鑛石を 取る．
  4. 彼らは 人の 住む 所を 離れて 縱穴をうがち， ／道行く 人に 忘れられ， ／人を 離れて 身をつりさげ， ¿れ 動く．
  5. 地はそこから 食物を 出す． その 下は 火でくつがえされるようにくつがえる．
  1. "Surely there is a mine for silver And a place where they refine gold.
  2. "Iron is taken from the dust, And copper is smelted from rock.
  3. "Man puts an end to darkness, And to the farthest limit he searches out The rock in gloom and deep shadow.
  4. "He sinks a shaft far from habitation, Forgotten by the foot; They hang and swing to and fro far from men.
  5. "The earth, from it comes food, And underneath it is turned up as fire.
  1. その 石は サファイヤ のある 所， ／そこにはまた 金塊がある．
  2. その 道は 猛禽も 知らず， たかの 目もこれを 見ず，
  3. 猛¿もこれを 踏まず， ししもこれを 通らなかった．
  4. 人は 堅い 岩に 手をくだして， ／山を 根元からくつがえす．
  5. 彼は 岩に 坑道を 掘り， ／その 目はもろもろの 尊い 物を 見る．
  1. "Its rocks are the source of sapphires, And its dust contains gold.
  2. "The path no bird of prey knows, Nor has the falcon's eye caught sight of it.
  3. "The proud beasts have not trodden it, Nor has the fierce lion passed over it.
  4. "He puts his hand on the flint; He overturns the mountains at the base.
  5. "He hews out channels through the rocks, And his eye sees anything precious.
  1. 彼は 水路をふさいで， 漏れないようにし， ／隱れた 物を 光に 取り 出す．
  2. しかし 知惠はどこに 見いだされるか． 悟りのある 所はどこか．
  3. 人はそこに 至る 道を 知らない， ／また 生ける 者の 地でそれを 獲ることができない．
  4. 淵は 言う， 『それはわたしのうちにない 』と． また 海は 言う， 『わたしのもとにない 』と．
  5. 精金もこれと 換えることはできない． 銀も 量ってその 價とすることはできない．
  1. "He dams up the streams from flowing, And what is hidden he brings out to the light.
  2. "But where can wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding?
  3. "Man does not know its value, Nor is it found in the land of the living.
  4. "The deep says, 'It is not in me'; And the sea says, 'It is not with me.'
  5. "Pure gold cannot be given in exchange for it, Nor can silver be weighed as its price.
  1. オフル の 金をもってしても， ／その 價を 量ることはできない． 尊い 縞めのうも， サファイヤ も 同樣である．
  2. こがねも， ∇璃もこれに ¿ぶことができない． また 精金の 器物もこれと 換えることができない．
  3. さんごも 水晶も 言うに 足りない． 知惠を 得るのは 眞珠を 得るのにまさる．
  4. エチオピヤ の トパズ もこれに ¿ぶことができない． 純金をもってしても， その 價を 量ることはできない．
  5. それでは 知惠はどこから 來るか． 悟りのある 所はどこか．
  1. "It cannot be valued in the gold of Ophir, In precious onyx, or sapphire.
  2. "Gold or glass cannot equal it, Nor can it be exchanged for articles of fine gold.
  3. "Coral and crystal are not to be mentioned; And the acquisition of wisdom is above that of pearls.
  4. "The topaz of Ethiopia cannot equal it, Nor can it be valued in pure gold.
  5. "Where then does wisdom come from? And where is the place of understanding?
  1. これはすべての 生き 物の 目に 隱され， ／空の 鳥にも 隱されている．
  2. 滅びも 死も 言う， ／『われわれはそのうわさを 耳に 聞いただけだ 』．
  3. 神はこれに 至る 道を 悟っておられる， ／彼はそのある 所を 知っておられる．
  4. 彼は 地の 果までもみそなわし， ／天が 下を 見きわめられるからだ．
  5. 彼が 風に 重さを 與え， ／水をますで 量られたとき，
  1. "Thus it is hidden from the eyes of all living And concealed from the birds of the sky.
  2. "Abaddon and Death say, 'With our ears we have heard a report of it.'
  3. "God understands its way, And He knows its place.
  4. "For He looks to the ends of the earth And sees everything under the heavens.
  5. "When He imparted weight to the wind And meted out the waters by measure,
  1. 彼が 雨のために 規定を 設け， ／雷のひらめきのために 道を 設けられたとき，
  2. 彼は 知惠を 見て， これをあらわし， ／これを 確かめ， これをきわめられた．
  3. そして 人に 言われた， ／『見よ， 主を 恐れることは 知惠である， ／惡を 離れることは 悟りである 』と 」．
  1. When He set a limit for the rain And a course for the thunderbolt,
  2. Then He saw it and declared it; He established it and also searched it out.
  3. "And to man He said, 'Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; And to depart from evil is understanding.'"
 
 
  1. ヨブ はまた 言葉をついで 言った，
  2. 「ああ 過ぎた 年月のようであったらよいのだが， ／神がわたしを 守ってくださった 日のようで ／あったらよいのだが．
  3. あの 時には， 彼のともしびがわたしの 頭の 上に 輝き， ／彼の 光によってわたしは 暗やみを 步んだ．
  4. わたしの 盛んな 時のようであったならよいのだが． あの 時には， 神の 親しみが ／わたしの 天幕の 上にあった．
  5. あの 時には， 全能者がなおわたしと 共にいまし， ／わたしの 子供たちもわたしの 周圍にいた．
  1. And Job again took up his discourse and said,
  2. "Oh that I were as in months gone by, As in the days when God watched over me;
  3. When His lamp shone over my head, And by His light I walked through darkness;
  4. As I was in the prime of my days, When the friendship of God was over my tent;
  5. When the Almighty was yet with me, And my children were around me;
  1. あの 時， わたしの 足跡は 乳で 洗われ， ／岩もわたしのために 油の 流れを 注ぎだした．
  2. あの 時には， わたしは 町の 門に 出て 行き， ／わたしの 座を 廣場に 設けた．
  3. 若い 者はわたしを 見てしりぞき， ／老いた 者は 身をおこして 立ち，
  4. 君たる 者も 物言うことをやめて， ／その 口に 手を 當て，
  5. 尊い 者も 聲をおさめて， ／その 舌を 上あごにつけた．
  1. When my steps were bathed in butter, And the rock poured out for me streams of oil!
  2. "When I went out to the gate of the city, When I took my seat in the square,
  3. The young men saw me and hid themselves, And the old men arose and stood.
  4. "The princes stopped talking And put their hands on their mouths;
  5. The voice of the nobles was hushed, And their tongue stuck to their palate.
  1. 耳に 聞いた 者はわたしを 祝福された 者となし， ／目に 見た 者はこれをあかしした．
  2. これは 助けを 求める 貧しい 者を 救い， ／また， みなしごおよび 助ける 人のない 者を ／救ったからである．
  3. 今にも 滅びようとした 者の 祝福がわたしに 來た． わたしはまたやもめの 心をして 喜び 歌わせた．
  4. わたしは 正義を 着， 正義はわたしをおおった． わたしの 公義は 上着のごとく， ／また 冠のようであった．
  5. わたしは 目しいの 目となり， ／足なえの 足となり，
  1. "For when the ear heard, it called me blessed, And when the eye saw, it gave witness of me,
  2. Because I delivered the poor who cried for help, And the orphan who had no helper.
  3. "The blessing of the one ready to perish came upon me, And I made the widow's heart sing for joy.
  4. "I put on righteousness, and it clothed me; My justice was like a robe and a turban.
  5. "I was eyes to the blind And feet to the lame.
  1. 貧しい 者の 父となり， ／知らない 人の 訴えの 理由を 調べてやった．
  2. わたしはまた 惡しき 者のきばを 折り， ／その 齒の 間から 獲物を 引き 出した．
  3. その 時， わたしは 言った， ／『わたしは 自分の 巢の 中で 死に， ／わたしの 日は 砂のように 多くなるであろう．
  4. わたしの 根は 水のほとりにはびこり， ／露は 夜もすがらわたしの 枝におくであろう．
  5. わたしの 榮えはわたしと 共に 新しく， ／わたしの 弓はわたしの 手にいつも 强い 』と．
  1. "I was a father to the needy, And I investigated the case which I did not know.
  2. "I broke the jaws of the wicked And snatched the prey from his teeth.
  3. "Then I thought, 'I shall die in my nest, And I shall multiply my days as the sand.
  4. 'My root is spread out to the waters, And dew lies all night on my branch.
  5. 'My glory is ever new with me, And my bow is renewed in my hand.'
  1. 人¿はわたしに 聞いて 待ち， ／默して， わたしの 敎に 從った．
  2. わたしが 言った 後は 彼らは 再び 言わなかった． わたしの 言葉は 彼らの 上に ／雨のように 降りそそいだ．
  3. 彼らは 雨を 待つように， わたしを 待ち 望み， ／春の 雨を 仰ぐように 口を 開いて 仰いだ．
  4. 彼らが 希望を 失った 時にも， ／わたしは 彼らにむかってほほえんだ． 彼らはわたしの 顔の 光を 除くことができなかった．
  5. わたしは 彼らのために 道を 選び， ／そのかしらとして 座し， ／軍中の 王のようにしており， ／嘆く 者を 慰める 人のようであった．
  1. "To me they listened and waited, And kept silent for my counsel.
  2. "After my words they did not speak again, And my speech dropped on them.
  3. "They waited for me as for the rain, And opened their mouth as for the spring rain.
  4. "I smiled on them when they did not believe, And the light of my face they did not cast down.
  5. "I chose a way for them and sat as chief, And dwelt as a king among the troops, As one who comforted the mourners.
