예레미야 11:1-12:17

 예레미야는 유다에게 임하게 된 형벌의 원인이 시내 산에서 맺은 언약을 어겼기 때문이라고 지적하여 백성들로부터 목숨의 위협을 받게 되었다. 이에 기도로 이 사실을 고하며 악한 백성들의 형통함을 항변한 예레미야에게 하나님께서는 죄의 형벌로 유다를 버리신 후 다시 회복시키실 것임을 말씀하셨다.
  
  언약에 근거한 형벌(11:1-11:17)    
 
  1. 主から エレミヤ に 臨んだ 言葉は 言う，
  2. 「この 契約の 言葉を 聞き， ユダ の 人¿と エルサレム に 住む 者に 告げよ．
  3. 彼らに 言え， イスラエル の 神， 主はこう 仰せられる， この 契約の 言葉に 從わない 人は， のろわれる．
  4. この 契約は， わたしがあなたがたの 先祖を エジプト の 地， 鐵のかまどの 中から 導き 出した 時に， 彼らに 命じたところのものである． すなわち， その 時わたしは 彼らに 言った， わたしの 聲を 聞き， あなたがたに 命じるすべてのことを 行うならば， あなたがたはわたしの 民となり， わたしはあなたがたの 神となる．
  5. そして， わたしがあなたがたの 先祖に， 乳と 蜜との 流れる 地を 與えると 誓ったことを， なし 遂げると． すなわち 今日のとおりである 」． その 時わたしは， 「主よ， 仰せのとおりです 」と 答えた．
  1. The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
  2. "Hear the words of this covenant, and speak to the men of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem;
  3. and say to them, 'Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, "Cursed is the man who does not heed the words of this covenant
  4. which I commanded your forefathers in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, 'Listen to My voice, and do according to all which I command you; so you shall be My people, and I will be your God,'
  5. in order to confirm the oath which I swore to your forefathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is this day "'" Then I said, "Amen, O LORD."
  1. 主はわたしに 言われた， 「このすべての 言葉を， ユダ の 町¿と， エルサレム のちまたに 告げ 示し， この 契約の 言葉を 聞き， これを 行え， と 言いなさい．
  2. わたしは， あなたがたの 先祖を エジプト の 地から 導き 出した 時から 今日にいたるまで， おごそかに 彼らを 戒め， 絶えず 戒めて， わたしの 聲に 聞き 從うようにと 言った．
  3. しかし 彼らは 從わず， その 耳を 傾けず， おのおの 自分の 惡い 强情な 心に 從って 步んだ． それゆえ， わたしはこの 契約の 言葉をもって 彼らを 責めた． これはわたしが 彼らに 行えと 命じたが， 行わなかったものである 」．
  4. 主はまたわたしに 言われた， 「ユダ の 人¿と エルサレム に 住む 者のうちに 反逆の 事がある．
  5. 彼らは， わたしの 言葉を 聞くことを 拒んだその 先祖たちの 罪に 立ち 返り， またほかの 神¿に 從ってそれに 仕えた． イスラエル の 家と ユダ の 家とは， わたしがその 先祖たちと 結んだ 契約を 破った．
  1. And the LORD said to me, "Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, 'Hear the words of this covenant and do them.
  2. 'For I solemnly warned your fathers in the day that I brought them up from the land of Egypt, even to this day, warning persistently, saying, "Listen to My voice."
  3. 'Yet they did not obey or incline their ear, but walked, each one, in the stubbornness of his evil heart; therefore I brought on them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do, but they did not.'"
  4. Then the LORD said to me, "A conspiracy has been found among the men of Judah and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
  5. "They have turned back to the iniquities of their ancestors who refused to hear My words, and they have gone after other gods to serve them; the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken My covenant which I made with their fathers."
  1. それゆえ 主はこう 言われる， 見よ， わたしは 災を 彼らの 上に 下す． 彼らはそれを 免れることはできない． 彼らがわたしを 呼んでも， わたしは 聞かない．
  2. ユダ の 町¿と エルサレム に 住む 者は， 行って， 自分たちがそれに 香をたいている 神¿に 呼び 求めるが， これらは， 彼らの 災の 時にも 決して 彼らを 救うことはできない．

  5. わが 愛する 者は， わたしの 家で 何をするのか． すでにこれは 惡事を 行った． 誓願と ¿牲の 肉とがあなたに 災を 免れさせることができるであろうか． それであなたは 喜ぶことができるであろうか．
  1. Therefore thus says the LORD, "Behold I am bringing disaster on them which they will not be able to escape; though they will cry to Me, yet I will not listen to them.
  2. "Then the cities of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem will go and cry to the gods to whom they burn incense, but they surely will not save them in the time of their disaster.
  3. "For your gods are as many as your cities, O Judah; and as many as the streets of Jerusalem are the altars you have set up to the shameful thing, altars to burn incense to Baal.
  4. "Therefore do not pray for this people, nor lift up a cry or prayer for them; for I will not listen when they call to Me because of their disaster.
  5. "What right has My beloved in My house When she has done many vile deeds? Can the sacrificial flesh take away from you your disaster, So that you can rejoice?"
  1. 主はあなたを， かつては『良い 實のなる 美しい 靑¿とした オリブ の 木 』と 呼ばれたが， 激しい 暴風のとどろきと 共に， 主はそれに 火をかけ， その 枝を 燒き 拂われるのである．
  2. あなたを 植えた 万軍の 主は， あなたに 向かって 災を 言い 渡された． これは イスラエル の 家と ユダ の 家とが 惡を 行い， バアル に 香をたいて， わたしを 怒らせたからである 」．
  1. The LORD called your name, "A green olive tree, beautiful in fruit and form"; With the noise of a great tumult He has kindled fire on it, And its branches are worthless.
  2. The LORD of hosts, who planted you, has pronounced evil against you because of the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done to provoke Me by offering up sacrifices to Baal.
 
  예레미야 살해 음모(11:18-11:23)    
 
  1. 主が 知らせてくださったので， わたしはそれを 知った． その 時， あなたは 彼らの 惡しきわざを ／わたしに 示された．
  2. しかしわたしは， ほふられに 行く， おとなしい 小羊のようで， 彼らがわたしを 害しようと， 計りごとをめぐらしているのを 知らなかった． 彼らは 言う， 「さあ， 木とその 實を 共に 滅ぼそう． 生ける 者の 地から 彼を 絶って， その 名を 人に 忘れさせよう 」．
  3. 正しいさばきをし， 人の 心と 思いを 探られる 万軍の 主よ， わたしは 自分の 訴えをあなたにお 任せしました． あなたが 彼らにあだをかえされるのを ／見させてください．
  4. それゆえ 主は アナトテ の 人¿についてこう 言われる， 彼らはあなたの 命を 取ろうと 求めて 言う， 「主の 名によって 預言してはならない． それをするならば， あなたはわれわれの 手にかかって 死ぬであろう 」．
  5. それで 万軍の 主はこう 言われる， 「見よ， わたしは 彼らを 罰する． 若い 人はつるぎで 死に， 彼らのむすこ 娘は， ききんで 死に，
  1. Moreover, the LORD made it known to me and I knew it; Then You showed me their deeds.
  2. But I was like a gentle lamb led to the slaughter; And I did not know that they had devised plots against me, saying, "Let us destroy the tree with its fruit, And let us cut him off from the land of the living, That his name be remembered no more."
  3. But, O LORD of hosts, who judges righteously, Who tries the feelings and the heart, Let me see Your vengeance on them, For to You have I committed my cause.
  4. Therefore thus says the LORD concerning the men of Anathoth, who seek your life, saying, "Do not prophesy in the name of the LORD, so that you will not die at our hand";
  5. therefore, thus says the LORD of hosts, "Behold, I am about to punish them! The young men will die by the sword, their sons and daughters will die by famine;
  1. だれも 殘る 者はない． わたしが アナトテ の 人¿に 災を 下し， 彼らを 罰する 年をこさせるからである 」．
  1. and a remnant will not be left to them, for I will bring disaster on the men of Anathoth--the year of their punishment."
 
  항변과 답변(12:1-12:17)    
 
  1. 主よ， わたしがあなたと 論じ 爭う 時， あなたは 常に 正しい． しかしなお， わたしはあなたの 前に， さばきのことを 論じてみたい． 惡人の 道がさかえ， 不信實な 者がみな 繁榮するのはなにゆえですか．
  2. あなたが 彼らを 植えられたので， 彼らは 根づき， 育って， 實を 結びます． 彼らは 口ではあなたに 近づきますが， 心はあなたから 遠ざかっています．
  3. 主よ， あなたはわたしを 知り， わたしを 見， わたしの 心があなたに 對して ／いかにあるかを 試みられます． ほふるために 羊を 引き 出すように， 彼らを 引き 出し， 殺す 日にそなえて， 彼らを 殘しておいてください．

  2. You have planted them, they have also taken root; They grow, they have even produced fruit You are near to their lips But far from their mind.
  3. But You know me, O LORD; You see me; And You examine my heart's attitude toward You Drag them off like sheep for the slaughter And set them apart for a day of carnage!
  4. How long is the land to mourn And the vegetation of the countryside to wither? For the wickedness of those who dwell in it, Animals and birds have been snatched away, Because men have said, "He will not see our latter ending."
  5. "If you have run with footmen and they have tired you out, Then how can you compete with horses? If you fall down in a land of peace, How will you do in the thicket of the Jordan?
  1. あなたの 兄弟たち， あなたの 父の 家のものさえ， あなたを 欺き， 大聲をあげて， あなたを 追っている． 彼らが 親しげにあなたに 語ることがあっても， 彼らを 信じてはならない 」．

  5. 多くの 牧者たちはわたしのぶどう 畑を 滅ぼし， わたしの 地を 踏み 荒した． わたしの 麗しい 地を 荒れた 野にした．
  1. "For even your brothers and the household of your father, Even they have dealt treacherously with you, Even they have cried aloud after you Do not believe them, although they may say nice things to you."
  2. "I have forsaken My house, I have abandoned My inheritance; I have given the beloved of My soul Into the hand of her enemies.
  3. "My inheritance has become to Me Like a lion in the forest; She has roared against Me; Therefore I have come to hate her.
  4. "Is My inheritance like a speckled bird of prey to Me? Are the birds of prey against her on every side? Go, gather all the beasts of the field, Bring them to devour!
  5. "Many shepherds have ruined My vineyard, They have trampled down My field; They have made My pleasant field A desolate wilderness.
  1. 彼らはこれを 荒れ 地としてしまった． その 荒れ 地がわたしに 向かって 嘆くのだ． 全地は 荒れ 地にされた． しかし， ひとりもこれを 心に 留める 者はない．

  1. "It has been made a desolation, Desolate, it mourns before Me; The whole land has been made desolate, Because no man lays it to heart.
  2. "On all the bare heights in the wilderness Destroyers have come, For a sword of the LORD is devouring From one end of the land even to the other; There is no peace for anyone.
  3. "They have sown wheat and have reaped thorns, They have strained themselves to no profit But be ashamed of your harvest Because of the fierce anger of the LORD."
  4. Thus says the LORD concerning all My wicked neighbors who strike at the inheritance with which I have endowed My people Israel, "Behold I am about to uproot them from their land and will uproot the house of Judah from among them.
  5. "And it will come about that after I have uprooted them, I will again have compassion on them; and I will bring them back, each one to his inheritance and each one to his land.
  1. もし 彼らがわたしの 民の 道を 學び， わたしの 名によって， 『主は 生きておられる 』と 言って 誓うことが， かつて 彼らがわたしの 民に 敎えて バアル をさして 誓わせたようになるならば， 彼らはわたしの 民のうちに 建てられる．
  2. しかし 耳をかさない 民があるときは， わたしはその 民を 拔き 出して 滅ぼすと， 主は 言われる 」．
  1. "Then if they will really learn the ways of My people, to swear by My name, 'As the LORD lives,' even as they taught My people to swear by Baal, they will be built up in the midst of My people.
  2. "But if they will not listen, then I will uproot that nation, uproot and destroy it," declares the LORD.
