창세기 9:1-10:32

 하나님께서는 노아와 그 아들들에게 생육과 번성의 복을 주셨으며, 다시는 홍수로 세상을 심판하지 않겠다는 약속의 증거로 무지개를 주셨다. 후에 노아는 자신의 술 취해 벗은 모습을 보고 희롱거리로 만든 함의 자손 가나안을 저주하였다. 셈과 함과 야벳의 자손이 번창하여 각기 방언과 종족과 나라대로 살게 됨으로써 땅의 열국 백성이 나뉘었다.
  
  노아의 언약(9:1-9:29)    
 
  1. 神は ノア と 彼の 息子たちを 祝福して 言われた． 「産めよ， 增えよ， 地に 滿ちよ．
  2. 地のすべての ¿と 空のすべての 鳥は， 地を 這うすべてのものと 海のすべての 魚と 共に， あなたたちの 前に 恐れおののき， あなたたちの 手にゆだねられる．
  3. 動いている 命あるものは， すべてあなたたちの 食糧とするがよい． わたしはこれらすべてのものを， 靑草と 同じようにあなたたちに 與える．
  4. ただし， 肉は 命である 血を 含んだまま 食べてはならない．
  5. また， あなたたちの 命である 血が 流された 場合， わたしは 賠償を 要求する． いかなる ¿からも 要求する． 人間どうしの 血については， 人間から 人間の 命を 賠償として 要求する．
  1. Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth.
  2. The fear and dread of you will fall upon all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air, upon every creature that moves along the ground, and upon all the fish of the sea; they are given into your hands.
  3. Everything that lives and moves will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything.
  4. "But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it.
  5. And for your lifeblood I will surely demand an accounting. I will demand an accounting from every animal. And from each man, too, I will demand an accounting for the life of his fellow man.
  1. 人の 血を 流す 者は ／人によって 自分の 血を 流される． 人は 神にかたどって 造られたからだ．
  2. あなたたちは 産めよ， 增えよ ／地に 群がり， 地に 增えよ． 」
  3. 神は ノア と 彼の 息子たちに 言われた．
  4. 「わたしは， あなたたちと， そして 後に 續く 子孫と， 契約を 立てる．
  5. あなたたちと 共にいるすべての 生き 物， またあなたたちと 共にいる 鳥や 家畜や 地のすべての ¿など， 箱舟から 出たすべてのもののみならず， 地のすべての ¿と 契約を 立てる．
  1. "Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made man.
  2. As for you, be fruitful and increase in number; multiply on the earth and increase upon it."
  3. Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him:
  4. "I now establish my covenant with you and with your descendants after you
  5. and with every living creature that was with you--the birds, the livestock and all the wild animals, all those that came out of the ark with you--every living creature on earth.
  1. わたしがあなたたちと 契約を 立てたならば， 二度と 洪水によって 肉なるものがことごとく 滅ぼされることはなく， 洪水が 起こって 地を 滅ぼすことも 決してない． 」
  2. 更に 神は 言われた． 「あなたたちならびにあなたたちと 共にいるすべての 生き 物と， 代¿とこしえにわたしが 立てる 契約のしるしはこれである．
  3. すなわち， わたしは 雲の 中にわたしの 虹を 置く． これはわたしと 大地の 間に 立てた 契約のしるしとなる．
  4. わたしが 地の 上に 雲を 湧き 起こらせ， 雲の 中に 虹が 現れると，
  5. わたしは， わたしとあなたたちならびにすべての 生き 物， すべて 肉なるものとの 間に 立てた 契約に 心を 留める． 水が 洪水となって， 肉なるものをすべて 滅ぼすことは 決してない．
  1. I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be cut off by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth."
  2. And God said, "This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come:
  3. I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.
  4. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds,
  5. I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life.
  1. 雲の 中に 虹が 現れると， わたしはそれを 見て， 神と 地上のすべての 生き 物， すべて 肉なるものとの 間に 立てた 永遠の 契約に 心を 留める． 」
  2. 神は ノア に 言われた． 「これが， わたしと 地上のすべて 肉なるものとの 間に 立てた 契約のしるしである． 」
  3. 箱舟から 出た ノア の 息子は， セム ， ハム ， ヤフェト であった． ハム は カナン の 父である．
  4. この 三人が ノア の 息子で， 全世界の 人¿は 彼らから 出て 廣がったのである．
  5. さて， ノア は 農夫となり， ぶどう 畑を 作った．
  1. Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth."
  2. So God said to Noah, "This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth."
  3. The sons of Noah who came out of the ark were Shem, Ham and Japheth. (Ham was the father of Canaan.)
  4. These were the three sons of Noah, and from them came the people who were scattered over the earth.
  5. Noah, a man of the soil, proceeded to plant a vineyard.
  1. あるとき， ノア はぶどう 酒を 飮んで 醉い， 天幕の 中で 裸になっていた．
  2. カナン の 父 ハム は， 自分の 父の 裸を 見て， 外にいた 二人の 兄弟に 告げた．
  3. セム と ヤフェト は 着物を 取って 自分たちの 肩に 掛け， 後ろ 向きに 步いて 行き， 父の 裸を 覆った． 二人は 顔を 背けたままで， 父の 裸を 見なかった．
  4. ノア は 醉いからさめると， 末の 息子がしたことを 知り，
  5. こう 言った． 「カナン は 呪われよ ／奴隷の 奴隷となり， 兄たちに 仕えよ． 」
  1. When he drank some of its wine, he became drunk and lay uncovered inside his tent.
  2. Ham, the father of Canaan, saw his father's nakedness and told his two brothers outside.
  3. But Shem and Japheth took a garment and laid it across their shoulders; then they walked in backward and covered their father's nakedness. Their faces were turned the other way so that they would not see their father's nakedness.
  4. When Noah awoke from his wine and found out what his youngest son had done to him,
  5. he said, "Cursed be Canaan! The lowest of slaves will he be to his brothers."
  1. また 言った． 「セム の 神， 主をたたえよ． カナン は セム の 奴隷となれ．
  2. 神が ヤフェト の 土地を 廣げ（ヤフェト ）／ セム の 天幕に 住まわせ ／ カナン はその 奴隷となれ． 」
  3. ノア は， 洪水の 後三百五十年生きた．
  4. ノア は 九百五十歲になって， 死んだ．
  1. He also said, "Blessed be the LORD, the God of Shem! May Canaan be the slave of Shem.
  2. May God extend the territory of Japheth ; may Japheth live in the tents of Shem, and may Canaan be his slave."
  3. After the flood Noah lived 350 years.
  4. Altogether, Noah lived 950 years, and then he died.
 
  지상에 퍼진 민족들(10:1-10:32)    
 
  1. ノア の 息子， セム ， ハム ， ヤフェト の 系圖は 次のとおりである． 洪水の 後， 彼らに 息子が 生まれた．
  2. ヤフェト の 子孫は ゴメル ， マゴグ ， メディア ， ヤワン ， トバル ， メシェク ， ティラス であった．
  3. ゴメル の 子孫は， アシュケナズ ， リファト ， トガルマ であった．
  4. ヤワン の 子孫は， エリシャ ， タルシシュ ， キティム ， ロダニム であった．
  5. 海沿いの 國¿は， 彼らから 出て， それぞれの 地に， その 言語， 氏族， 民族に 從って 住むようになった．
  1. This is the account of Shem, Ham and Japheth, Noah's sons, who themselves had sons after the flood.
  2. The sons of Japheth: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech and Tiras.
  3. The sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, Riphath and Togarmah.
  4. The sons of Javan: Elishah, Tarshish, the Kittim and the Rodanim.
  5. (From these the maritime peoples spread out into their territories by their clans within their nations, each with its own language.)
  1. ハム の 子孫は， クシュ ， エジプト ， プト ， カナン であった．
  2. クシュ の 子孫は セバ ， ハビラ ， サブタ ， ラマ ， サブテカ であり， ラマ の 子孫は シェバ と デダン であった．
  3. クシュ にはまた， ニムロド が 生まれた． ニムロド は 地上で 最初の 勇士となった．
  4. 彼は， 主の 御前に 勇敢な 狩人であり， 「主の 御前に 勇敢な 狩人 ニムロド のようだ 」という 言い 方がある．
  5. 彼の 王國の 主な 町は， バベル ， ウルク ， アッカド であり， それらはすべて シンアル の 地にあった．
  1. The sons of Ham: Cush, Mizraim, Put and Canaan.
  2. The sons of Cush: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah and Sabteca. The sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.
  3. Cush was the father of Nimrod, who grew to be a mighty warrior on the earth.
  4. He was a mighty hunter before the LORD; that is why it is said, "Like Nimrod, a mighty hunter before the LORD."
  5. The first centers of his kingdom were Babylon, Erech, Akkad and Calneh, in Shinar.
  1. 彼はその 地方から アッシリア に 進み， ニネベ ， レホボト · イル ， カラ ，
  2. レセン を 建てた． レセン は ニネベ と カラ との 間にある， 非常に 大きな 町であった．

  1. From that land he went to Assyria, where he built Nineveh, Rehoboth Ir, Calah
  2. and Resen, which is between Nineveh and Calah; that is the great city.
  3. Mizraim was the father of the Ludites, Anamites, Lehabites, Naphtuhites,
  4. Pathrusites, Casluhites (from whom the Philistines came) and Caphtorites.
  5. Canaan was the father of Sidon his firstborn, and of the Hittites,
  1. また， エブス 人， アモリ 人， ギルガシ 人，
  2. ヒビ 人， アルキ 人， シニ 人，
  3. アルワド 人， ツェマリ 人， ハマト 人が 生まれた． その 後， カナン 人の 諸氏族が 廣がった．
  4. カナン 人の 領土は， シドン から 南下して ゲラル を 經て ガザ までを 含み， 更に， ソドム ， ゴモラ ， アドマ ， ツェボイム を 經て ラシャ までを 含んだ．
  5. これらが， 氏族， 言語， 地域， 民族ごとにまとめた ハム の 子孫である．
  1. Jebusites, Amorites, Girgashites,
  2. Hivites, Arkites, Sinites,
  3. Arvadites, Zemarites and Hamathites. Later the Canaanite clans scattered
  4. and the borders of Canaan reached from Sidon toward Gerar as far as Gaza, and then toward Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha.
  5. These are the sons of Ham by their clans and languages, in their territories and nations.
  1. セム にもまた 子供が 生まれた． 彼は エベル のすべての 子孫の 先祖であり， ヤフェト の 兄であった．
  2. セム の 子孫は エラム ， アシュル ， アルパクシャド ， ルド ， アラム であった．
  3. アラム の 子孫は， ウツ ， フル ， ゲテル ， マシュ であった．
  4. アルパクシャド には シェラ が 生まれ， シェラ には エベル が 生まれた．
  5. エベル には 二人の 息子が 生まれた． ひとりの 名は， その 時代に 土地が 分けられた（パラグ ）ので， ペレグ といい， その 兄弟は ヨクタン といった．
  1. Sons were also born to Shem, whose older brother was Japheth; Shem was the ancestor of all the sons of Eber.
  2. The sons of Shem: Elam, Asshur, Arphaxad, Lud and Aram.
  3. The sons of Aram: Uz, Hul, Gether and Meshech.
  4. Arphaxad was the father of Shelah, and Shelah the father of Eber.
  5. Two sons were born to Eber: One was named Peleg, because in his time the earth was divided; his brother was named Joktan.
  1. ヨクタン には， アルモダド ， シェレフ ， ハツァルマベト ， イエラ ，
  2. ハドラム ， ウザル ， ディクラ ，
  3. オバル ， アビマエル ， シェバ ，
  4. オフィル ， ハビラ ， ヨバブ が 生まれた． これらは 皆， ヨクタン の 息子であった．
  5. 彼らは メシャ から セファル に 至る 東の 高原地帶に 住んでいた．
  1. Joktan was the father of Almodad, Sheleph, Hazarmaveth, Jerah,
  2. Hadoram, Uzal, Diklah,
  3. Obal, Abimael, Sheba,
  4. Ophir, Havilah and Jobab. All these were sons of Joktan.
  5. The region where they lived stretched from Mesha toward Sephar, in the eastern hill country.
  1. これらが， 氏族， 言語， 地域， 民族ごとにまとめた セム の 子孫である．
  2. ノア の 子孫である 諸氏族を， 民族ごとの 系圖にまとめると 以上のようになる． 地上の 諸民族は 洪水の 後， 彼らから 分かれ 出た．
  1. These are the sons of Shem by their clans and languages, in their territories and nations.
  2. These are the clans of Noah's sons, according to their lines of descent, within their nations. From these the nations spread out over the earth after the flood.
