- "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
- By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?
- Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
- A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.
- Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

- このように， あなたがたはその 實で 彼らを 見分ける． 」
- 「わたしに 向かって， 『主よ， 主よ 』と 言う 者が 皆， 天の 國に 入るわけではない． わたしの 天の 父の 御心を 行う 者だけが 入るのである．
- かの 日には， 大勢の 者がわたしに， 『主よ， 主よ， わたしたちは 御名によって 預言し， 御名によって 惡靈を 追い 出し， 御名によって 奇跡をいろいろ 行ったではありませんか 』と 言うであろう．
