마태복음 16:13-16:28

 베드로의 신앙 고백을 들으신 예수님께서는 자신이 십자가에 달려 돌아가실 것을 말씀하셨다. 그러자 베드로는 이를 만류하였다. 이에 예수님께서는 제자의 길은 자기를 부인하고 주를 따르는 것임을 교훈하셨다.
  
  베드로의 신앙 고백(16:13-16:20)    
 
  1. イエス は， フィリポ · カイサリア 地方に 行ったとき， 弟子たちに， 「人¿は， 人の 子のことを 何者だと 言っているか 」とお 尋ねになった．
  2. 弟子たちは 言った． 「『洗禮者 ヨハネ だ 』と 言う 人も， 『エリヤ だ 』と 言う 人もいます． ほかに， 『エレミヤ だ 』とか， 『預言者の 一人だ 』と 言う 人もいます． 」
  3. イエス が 言われた． 「それでは， あなたがたはわたしを 何者だと 言うのか． 」
  4. シモン · ペトロ が， 「あなたは メシア ， 生ける 神の 子です 」と 答えた．
  5. すると， イエス はお 答えになった． 「シモン · バルヨナ ， あなたは 幸いだ． あなたにこのことを 現したのは， 人間ではなく， わたしの 天の 父なのだ．
  1. When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who do people say the Son of Man is?"
  2. They replied, "Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets."
  3. "But what about you?" he asked. "Who do you say I am?"
  4. Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
  5. Jesus replied, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven.
  1. わたしも 言っておく． あなたは ペトロ ． わたしはこの 岩の 上にわたしの 敎會を 建てる． 陰府の 力もこれに 對抗できない．
  2. わたしはあなたに 天の 國の 鍵を 授ける． あなたが 地上でつなぐことは， 天上でもつながれる． あなたが 地上で 解くことは， 天上でも 解かれる． 」
  3. それから， イエス は， 御自分が メシア であることをだれにも 話さないように， と 弟子たちに 命じられた．
  1. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.
  2. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."
  3. Then he warned his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Christ.
 
  제자의 길(16:21-16:28)    
 
  1. このときから， イエス は， 御自分が 必ず エルサレム に 行って， 長老， 祭司長， 律法學者たちから 多くの 苦しみを 受けて 殺され， 三日目に 復活することになっている， と 弟子たちに 打ち 明け 始められた．
  2. すると， ペトロ は イエス をわきへお 連れして， いさめ 始めた． 「主よ， とんでもないことです． そんなことがあってはなりません． 」
  3. イエス は 振り 向いて ペトロ に 言われた． 「サタン ， 引き 下がれ． あなたはわたしの 邪魔をする 者． 神のことを 思わず， 人間のことを 思っている． 」
  4. それから， 弟子たちに 言われた． 「わたしについて 來たい 者は， 自分を 捨て， 自分の 十字架を 背負って， わたしに 從いなさい．
  5. 自分の 命を 救いたいと 思う 者は， それを 失うが， わたしのために 命を 失う 者は， それを 得る．
  1. From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.
  2. Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. "Never, Lord!" he said. "This shall never happen to you!"
  3. Jesus turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men."
  4. Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.
  5. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.
  1. 人は， たとえ 全世界を 手に 入れても， 自分の 命を 失ったら， 何の 得があろうか． 自分の 命を 買い 戾すのに， どんな 代價を 支拂えようか．
  2. 人の 子は， 父の 榮光に 輝いて 天使たちと 共に 來るが， そのとき， それぞれの 行いに 應じて 報いるのである．
  3. はっきり 言っておく． ここに 一緖にいる 人¿の 中には， 人の 子がその 國と 共に 來るのを 見るまでは， 決して 死なない 者がいる． 」
  1. What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?
  2. For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what he has done.
  3. I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom."
