출애굽기

  본서는 하나님의 기적적인 구속의 역사를 통해 선민 이스라엘 백성들의 조상과 맺은 언약을 성취하시는 하나님, 구원의 하나님, 경배의 대상이 되는 야웨 하나님을 나타내고 있으며, 구원받은 자들이 꼭 지켜야 할 삶의 원리를 보여 주고 있다.

  요셉을 모르는 왕의 통치 아래서 노예로 전락한 이스라엘 백성들은 심한 고통을 당하여 하나님께 울부짖는다. 하나님께서는 그들의 소리를 들으시고 모세를 세우셔서 애굽의 압제에서 해방시키신다. 홍해를 건너 시내 산에 도착한 이스라엘 백성들은 하나님께로부터 율법과 성막에 관한 계시를 받고 성막을 완성하여 봉헌한다.

 

 

출애굽기 1:1-2:25

 애굽으로 이주한 야곱의 자손들이 번성하여 강대한 민족이 되었다. 그러자 이에 두려움을 느낀 바로는 그들에게 노역을 시키고 히브리인 남아 살해 명령을 내렸다. 이러한 상황에서 모세는 태어난 지 3개월 만에 하숫가에 버려졌으나 바로의 딸에게 발견되어 바로의 궁에서 살게 되었다. 그러나 어느 날 동족을 학대하는 애굽인을 살해한 모세는 미디안 광야로 도망하여 그 곳에서 40년 간 생활하게 되었다.
  
  이스라엘의 고난(1:1-1:22)    
 
  1. ヤコブ と 共に 一家を 擧げて エジプト へ 下った イスラエル の 子らの 名前は 次のとおりである．
  2. ルベン ， シメオン ， レビ ， ユダ ，
  3. イサカル ， ゼブルン ， ベニヤミン ，
  4. ダン ， ナフタリ ， ガド ， アシェル ．
  5. ヤコブ の 腰から 出た 子， 孫の 數は 全部で 七十人であった． ヨセフ は 旣に エジプト にいた．
  1. These are the names of the sons of Israel who went to Egypt with Jacob, each with his family:
  2. Reuben, Simeon, Levi and Judah;
  3. Issachar, Zebulun and Benjamin;
  4. Dan and Naphtali; Gad and Asher.
  5. The descendants of Jacob numbered seventy in all; Joseph was already in Egypt.
  1. ヨセフ もその 兄弟たちも， その 世代の 人¿も 皆， 死んだが，
  2. イスラエル の 人¿は 子を 産み， おびただしく 數を 增し， ますます 强くなって 國中に 溢れた．
  3. そのころ， ヨセフ のことを 知らない 新しい 王が 出て エジプト を 支配し，
  4. 國民に 警告した． 「イスラエル 人という 民は， 今や， 我¿にとってあまりに 數多く， 强力になりすぎた．
  5. 拔かりなく 取り 扱い， これ 以上の 增加を 食い 止めよう． 一度戰爭が 起これば， 敵側に 付いて 我¿と 戰い， この 國を 取るかもしれない． 」
  1. Now Joseph and all his brothers and all that generation died,
  2. but the Israelites were fruitful and multiplied greatly and became exceedingly numerous, so that the land was filled with them.
  3. Then a new king, who did not know about Joseph, came to power in Egypt.
  4. "Look," he said to his people, "the Israelites have become much too numerous for us.
  5. Come, we must deal shrewdly with them or they will become even more numerous and, if war breaks out, will join our enemies, fight against us and leave the country."
  1. エジプト 人はそこで， イスラエル の 人¿の 上に 强制勞¿の 監督を 置き， 重勞¿を 課して 虐待した． イスラエル の 人¿は ファラオ の 物資貯藏の 町， ピトム と ラメセス を 建設した．
  2. しかし， 虐待されればされるほど 彼らは 增え 廣がったので， エジプト 人はますます イスラエル の 人¿を 嫌惡し，
  3. イスラエル の 人¿を 酷使し，
  4. 粘土こね， れんが 燒き， あらゆる 農作業などの 重勞¿によって 彼らの 生活を 脅かした． 彼らが 從事した 勞¿はいずれも 過酷を 極めた．
  5. エジプト 王は 二人の ヘブライ 人の 助産婦に 命じた． 一人は シフラ といい， もう 一人は プア といった．
  1. So they put slave masters over them to oppress them with forced labor, and they built Pithom and Rameses as store cities for Pharaoh.
  2. But the more they were oppressed, the more they multiplied and spread; so the Egyptians came to dread the Israelites
  3. and worked them ruthlessly.
  4. They made their lives bitter with hard labor in brick and mortar and with all kinds of work in the fields; in all their hard labor the Egyptians used them ruthlessly.
  5. The king of Egypt said to the Hebrew midwives, whose names were Shiphrah and Puah,
  1. 「お 前たちが ヘブライ 人の 女の 出産を 助けるときには， 子供の 性別を 確かめ， 男の 子ならば 殺し， 女の 子ならば 生かしておけ． 」
  2. 助産婦はいずれも 神を 畏れていたので， エジプト 王が 命じたとおりにはせず， 男の 子も 生かしておいた．
  3. エジプト 王は 彼女たちを 呼びつけて 問いただした． 「どうしてこのようなことをしたのだ． お 前たちは 男の 子を 生かしているではないか． 」
  4. 助産婦は ファラオ に 答えた． 「ヘブライ 人の 女は エジプト 人の 女性とは 違います． 彼女たちは 丈夫で， 助産婦が 行く 前に 産んでしまうのです． 」
  5. 神はこの 助産婦たちに 惠みを 與えられた． 民は 數を 增し， 甚だ 强くなった．
  1. "When you help the Hebrew women in childbirth and observe them on the delivery stool, if it is a boy, kill him; but if it is a girl, let her live."
  2. The midwives, however, feared God and did not do what the king of Egypt had told them to do; they let the boys live.
  3. Then the king of Egypt summoned the midwives and asked them, "Why have you done this? Why have you let the boys live?"
  4. The midwives answered Pharaoh, "Hebrew women are not like Egyptian women; they are vigorous and give birth before the midwives arrive."
  5. So God was kind to the midwives and the people increased and became even more numerous.
  1. 助産婦たちは 神を 畏れていたので， 神は 彼女たちにも 子寶を 惠まれた．
  2. ファラオ は 全國民に 命じた． 「生まれた 男の 子は， 一人殘らず ナイル 川にほうり ¿め． 女の 子は 皆， 生かしておけ． 」
  1. And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families of their own.
  2. Then Pharaoh gave this order to all his people: "Every boy that is born you must throw into the Nile, but let every girl live."
 
  모세의 출생과 망명(2:1-2:25)    
 
  1. レビ の 家の 出のある 男が 同じ レビ 人の 娘をめとった．
  2. 彼女は 身ごもり， 男の 子を 産んだが， その 子がかわいかったのを 見て， 三か 月の 間隱しておいた．
  3. しかし， もはや 隱しきれなくなったので， パピルス の ζ を 用意し， アスファルト と ピッチ で 防水し， その 中に 男の 子を 入れ， ナイル 河畔の 葦の 茂みの 間に 置いた．
  4. その 子の 姉が 遠くに 立って， どうなることかと 樣子を 見ていると，
  5. そこへ， ファラオ の 王女が 水浴びをしようと 川に 下りて 來た． その 間侍女たちは 川岸を 行き 來していた． 王女は， 葦の 茂みの 間に ζ を 見つけたので， 仕え 女をやって 取って 來させた．
  1. Now a man of the house of Levi married a Levite woman,
  2. and she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. When she saw that he was a fine child, she hid him for three months.
  3. But when she could hide him no longer, she got a papyrus basket for him and coated it with tar and pitch. Then she placed the child in it and put it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile.
  4. His sister stood at a distance to see what would happen to him.
  5. Then Pharaoh's daughter went down to the Nile to bathe, and her attendants were walking along the river bank. She saw the basket among the reeds and sent her slave girl to get it.
  1. 開けてみると 赤ん 坊がおり， しかも 男の 子で， 泣いていた． 王女はふびんに 思い， 「これは， きっと， ヘブライ 人の 子です 」と 言った．
  2. そのとき， その 子の 姉が ファラオ の 王女に 申し 出た． 「この 子に 乳を 飮ませる ヘブライ 人の 乳母を 呼んで 參りましょうか． 」
  3. 「そうしておくれ 」と， 王女が 賴んだので， 娘は 早速その 子の 母を 連れて 來た．
  4. 王女が， 「この 子を 連れて 行って， わたしに 代わって 乳を 飮ませておやり． 手當てはわたしが 出しますから 」と 言ったので， 母親はその 子を 引き 取って 乳を 飮ませ，
  5. その 子が 大きくなると， 王女のもとへ 連れて 行った． その 子はこうして， 王女の 子となった． 王女は 彼を モ ― セ と 名付けて 言った． 「水の 中からわたしが 引き 上げた（マ ― シャ ―）のですから． 」
  1. She opened it and saw the baby. He was crying, and she felt sorry for him. "This is one of the Hebrew babies," she said.
  2. Then his sister asked Pharaoh's daughter, "Shall I go and get one of the Hebrew women to nurse the baby for you?"
  3. "Yes, go," she answered. And the girl went and got the baby's mother.
  4. Pharaoh's daughter said to her, "Take this baby and nurse him for me, and I will pay you." So the woman took the baby and nursed him.
  5. When the child grew older, she took him to Pharaoh's daughter and he became her son. She named him Moses, saying, "I drew him out of the water."
  1. モ ― セ が 成人したころのこと， 彼は 同胞のところへ 出て 行き， 彼らが 重勞¿に 服しているのを 見た． そして 一人の エジプト 人が， 同胞である ヘブライ 人の 一人を 打っているのを 見た．
  2. モ ― セ は 邊りを 見回し， だれもいないのを 確かめると， その エジプト 人を 打ち 殺して 死體を 砂に 埋めた．
  3. 翌日， また 出て 行くと， 今度は ヘブライ 人どうしが 二人でけんかをしていた． モ ― セ が， 「どうして 自分の 仲間を 毆るのか 」と 惡い 方をたしなめると，
  4. 「誰がお 前を 我¿の 監督や 裁判官にしたのか． お 前はあの エジプト 人を 殺したように， このわたしを 殺すつもりか 」と 言い 返したので， モ ― セ は 恐れ， さてはあの 事が 知れたのかと 思った．
  5. ファラオ はこの 事を 聞き， モ ― セ を 殺そうと 尋ね 求めたが， モ ― セ は ファラオ の 手を 逃れて ミディアン 地方にたどりつき， とある 井戶の 傍らに 腰を 下ろした．
  1. One day, after Moses had grown up, he went out to where his own people were and watched them at their hard labor. He saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his own people.
  2. Glancing this way and that and seeing no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the sand.
  3. The next day he went out and saw two Hebrews fighting. He asked the one in the wrong, "Why are you hitting your fellow Hebrew?"
  4. The man said, "Who made you ruler and judge over us? Are you thinking of killing me as you killed the Egyptian?" Then Moses was afraid and thought, "What I did must have become known."
  5. When Pharaoh heard of this, he tried to kill Moses, but Moses fled from Pharaoh and went to live in Midian, where he sat down by a well.
  1. さて， ミディアン の 祭司に 七人の 娘がいた． 彼女たちがそこへ 來て 水をくみ， 水ぶねを 滿たし， 父の 羊の 群れに 飮ませようとしたところへ，
  2. 羊飼いの 男たちが 來て， 娘たちを 追い 拂った． モ ― セ は 立ち 上がって 娘たちを 救い， 羊の 群れに 水を 飮ませてやった．
  3. 娘たちが 父 レウエル のところに 歸ると， 父は， 「どうして 今日はこんなに 早く 歸れたのか 」と 尋ねた．
  4. 彼女たちは 言った． 「一人の エジプト 人が 羊飼いの 男たちからわたしたちを 助け 出し， わたしたちのために 水をくんで， 羊に 飮ませてくださいました． 」
  5. 父は 娘たちに 言った． 「どこにおられるのだ， その 方は． どうして， お 前たちはその 方をほうっておくのだ． 呼びに 行って， 食事を 差し 上げなさい． 」
  1. Now a priest of Midian had seven daughters, and they came to draw water and fill the troughs to water their father's flock.
  2. Some shepherds came along and drove them away, but Moses got up and came to their rescue and watered their flock.
  3. When the girls returned to Reuel their father, he asked them, "Why have you returned so early today?"
  4. They answered, "An Egyptian rescued us from the shepherds. He even drew water for us and watered the flock."
  5. "And where is he?" he asked his daughters. "Why did you leave him? Invite him to have something to eat."
  1. モ ― セ がこの 人のもとにとどまる 決意をしたので， 彼は 自分の 娘 ツィポラ を モ ― セ と 結婚させた．
  2. 彼女は 男の 子を 産み， モ ― セ は 彼を ゲルショム と 名付けた． 彼が， 「わたしは 異國にいる 寄留者（ゲ ― ル ）だ 」と 言ったからである．
  3. それから 長い 年月がたち， エジプト 王は 死んだ． その 間 イスラエル の 人¿は 勞¿のゆえにうめき， 叫んだ． 勞¿のゆえに 助けを 求める 彼らの 叫び 聲は 神に 屆いた．
  4. 神はその 嘆きを 聞き， アブラハム ， イサク ， ヤコブ との 契約を 思い 起こされた．
  5. 神は イスラエル の 人¿を 顧み， 御心に 留められた．
  1. Moses agreed to stay with the man, who gave his daughter Zipporah to Moses in marriage.
  2. Zipporah gave birth to a son, and Moses named him Gershom, saying, "I have become an alien in a foreign land."
  3. During that long period, the king of Egypt died. The Israelites groaned in their slavery and cried out, and their cry for help because of their slavery went up to God.
  4. God heard their groaning and he remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac and with Jacob.
  5. So God looked on the Israelites and was concerned about them.
