출애굽기 7:1-8:32

 모세와 아론은 바로를 다시 만나 애굽의 모든 물을 피로 변하게 하는 재앙을 행하였으나 바로는 마음이 강퍅하여 모세의 말을 듣지 않았다. 그러므로 모세는 개구리 재앙, 이 재앙, 파리 재앙을 바로 앞에서 행하였다. 그러나 여전히 바로의 마음이 완강하여 백성을 보내지 않았다.
  
  바로와의 2차 대면(7:1-7:25)    
 
  1. 主は モ ― セ に 言われた． 「見よ， わたしは， あなたを ファラオ に 對しては 神の 代わりとし， あなたの 兄 アロン はあなたの 預言者となる．
  2. わたしが 命じるすべてのことをあなたが 語れば， あなたの 兄 アロン が， イスラエル の 人¿を 國から 去らせるよう， ファラオ に 語るであろう．
  3. しかし， わたしは ファラオ の 心をかたくなにするので， わたしが エジプト の 國でしるしや 奇跡を 繰り 返したとしても，
  4. ファラオ はあなたたちの 言うことを 聞かない． わたしは エジプト に 手を 下し， 大いなる 審判によって， わたしの 部隊， わたしの 民 イスラエル の 人¿を エジプト の 國から 導き 出す．
  5. わたしが エジプト に 對して 手を 伸ばし， イスラエル の 人¿をその 中から 導き 出すとき， エジプト 人は， わたしが 主であることを 知るようになる． 」
  1. Then the LORD said to Moses, "See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet.
  2. You are to say everything I command you, and your brother Aaron is to tell Pharaoh to let the Israelites go out of his country.
  3. But I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and though I multiply my miraculous signs and wonders in Egypt,
  4. he will not listen to you. Then I will lay my hand on Egypt and with mighty acts of judgment I will bring out my divisions, my people the Israelites.
  5. And the Egyptians will know that I am the LORD when I stretch out my hand against Egypt and bring the Israelites out of it."
  1. モ ― セ と アロン は， 主が 命じられたとおりに 行った．
  2. ファラオ に 語ったとき， モ ― セ は 八十歲， アロン は 八十三歲であった．
  3. 主は モ ― セ と アロン に 言われた．
  4. 「もし， ファラオ があなたたちに 向かって， 『奇跡を 行ってみよ 』と 求めるならば， あなたは アロン に， 『杖を 取って， ファラオ の 前に 投げよ 』と 言うと， 杖は 蛇になる． 」
  5. モ ― セ と アロン は ファラオ のもとに 行き， 主の 命じられたとおりに 行った． アロン が 自分の 杖を ファラオ とその 家臣たちの 前に 投げると， 杖は 蛇になった．
  1. Moses and Aaron did just as the LORD commanded them.
  2. Moses was eighty years old and Aaron eighty-three when they spoke to Pharaoh.
  3. The LORD said to Moses and Aaron,
  4. "When Pharaoh says to you, 'Perform a miracle,' then say to Aaron, 'Take your staff and throw it down before Pharaoh,' and it will become a snake."
  5. So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and did just as the LORD commanded. Aaron threw his staff down in front of Pharaoh and his officials, and it became a snake.
  1. そこで ファラオ も 賢者や 呪術師を 召し 出した． エジプト の 魔術師もまた， 秘術を 用いて 同じことを 行った．
  2. それぞれ 自分の 杖を 投げると， 蛇になったが， アロン の 杖は 彼らの 杖をのみ ¿んだ．
  3. しかし， ファラオ の 心はかたくなになり， 彼らの 言うことを 聞かなかった． 主が 仰せになったとおりである．
  4. 主は モ ― セ に 言われた． 「ファラオ の 心は 頑迷で， 民を 去らせない．
  5. 明朝， ファラオ のところへ 行きなさい． 彼は 水邊に 下りて 來る． あなたは 蛇になったあの 杖を 手に 持ち， ナイル 川の 岸邊に 立って， 彼を 待ち 受け，
  1. Pharaoh then summoned wise men and sorcerers, and the Egyptian magicians also did the same things by their secret arts:
  2. Each one threw down his staff and it became a snake. But Aaron's staff swallowed up their staffs.
  3. Yet Pharaoh's heart became hard and he would not listen to them, just as the LORD had said.
  4. Then the LORD said to Moses, "Pharaoh's heart is unyielding; he refuses to let the people go.
  5. Go to Pharaoh in the morning as he goes out to the water. Wait on the bank of the Nile to meet him, and take in your hand the staff that was changed into a snake.
  1. 彼に 言いなさい． ヘブライ 人の 神， 主がわたしをあなたのもとに 遣わして， 『わたしの 民を 去らせ， 荒れ 野でわたしに 仕えさせよ 』と 命じられたのに， あなたは 今に 至るまで 聞き 入れない．
  2. 主はこう 言われた． 『このことによって， あなたは， わたしが 主であることを 知る 』と． 見よ， わたしの 手にある 杖で ナイル 川の 水を 打つと， 水は 血に 變わる．
  3. 川の 魚は 死に， 川は 惡臭を 放つ． エジプト 人は ナイル 川の 水を 飮むのを 嫌がるようになる． 」
  4. 主は 更に モ ― セ に 言われた． 「アロン に 言いなさい． 『杖を 取り， エジプト の 水という 水の 上， 河川， 水路， 池， 水たまりの 上に 手を 伸ばし， 血に 變えなさい 』と． エジプト の 國中， 木や 石までも 血に 浸るであろう． 」
  5. モ ― セ と アロン は， 主の 命じられたとおりにした． 彼は 杖を 振り 上げて， ファラオ とその 家臣の 前で ナイル 川の 水を 打った． 川の 水はことごとく 血に 變わり，
  1. Then say to him, 'The LORD, the God of the Hebrews, has sent me to say to you: Let my people go, so that they may worship me in the desert. But until now you have not listened.
  2. This is what the LORD says: By this you will know that I am the LORD : With the staff that is in my hand I will strike the water of the Nile, and it will be changed into blood.
  3. The fish in the Nile will die, and the river will stink; the Egyptians will not be able to drink its water.' "
  4. The LORD said to Moses, "Tell Aaron, 'Take your staff and stretch out your hand over the waters of Egypt--over the streams and canals, over the ponds and all the reservoirs'-and they will turn to blood. Blood will be everywhere in Egypt, even in the wooden buckets and stone jars."
  5. Moses and Aaron did just as the LORD had commanded. He raised his staff in the presence of Pharaoh and his officials and struck the water of the Nile, and all the water was changed into blood.
  1. 川の 魚は 死に， 川は 惡臭を 放ち， エジプト 人は ナイル 川の 水を 飮めなくなった． こうして， エジプト の 國中が 血に 浸った．
  2. ところが， エジプト の 魔術師も 秘術を 用いて 同じことを 行ったので ファラオ の 心はかたくなになり， 二人の 言うことを 聞かなかった． 主が 仰せになったとおりである．
  3. ファラオ は 王宮に 引き 返し， このことをも 心に 留めなかった．
  4. エジプト 人は 皆， 飮み 水を 求めて， ナイル 川の 周りを 掘った． ナイル の 水が 飮めなくなったからである．
  5. 主が ナイル 川を 打たれてから 七日たつと，
  1. The fish in the Nile died, and the river smelled so bad that the Egyptians could not drink its water. Blood was everywhere in Egypt.
  2. But the Egyptian magicians did the same things by their secret arts, and Pharaoh's heart became hard; he would not listen to Moses and Aaron, just as the LORD had said.
  3. Instead, he turned and went into his palace, and did not take even this to heart.
  4. And all the Egyptians dug along the Nile to get drinking water, because they could not drink the water of the river.
  5. Seven days passed after the LORD struck the Nile.
 
  처음 네 가지 재앙(8:1-8:32)    
 
  1. 主は 更に モ ― セ に 言われた． 「アロン にこう 言いなさい． 杖を 取って， 河川， 水路， 池の 上に 手を 伸ばし， 蛙を エジプト の 國に 這い 上がらせよ． 」
  2. アロン が エジプト の 水の 上に 手を 差し 伸べると， 蛙が 這い 上がってきて エジプト の 國を 覆った．
  3. ところが， 魔術師も 秘術を 用いて 同じことをし， 蛙を エジプト の 國に 這い 上がらせた．
  4. ファラオ は モ ― セ と アロン を 呼んで， 「主に 祈願して， 蛙がわたしとわたしの 民のもとから 退くようにしてもらいたい． そうすれば， 民を 去らせ， 主に ¿牲をささげさせよう 」と 言うと，
  5. モ ― セ は ファラオ に 答えた． 「あなたのお 望みの 時を 言ってください． いつでもあなたとあなたの 家臣と 民のために 祈願して， 蛙をあなたとあなたの 家から 斷ち， ナイル 川以外には 殘らぬようにしましょう． 」
  1. Then the LORD said to Moses, "Go to Pharaoh and say to him, 'This is what the LORD says: Let my people go, so that they may worship me.
  2. If you refuse to let them go, I will plague your whole country with frogs.
  3. The Nile will teem with frogs. They will come up into your palace and your bedroom and onto your bed, into the houses of your officials and on your people, and into your ovens and kneading troughs.
  4. The frogs will go up on you and your people and all your officials.' "
  5. Then the LORD said to Moses, "Tell Aaron, 'Stretch out your hand with your staff over the streams and canals and ponds, and make frogs come up on the land of Egypt.' "
  1. ファラオ が， 「明日 」と 言うと， モ ― セ は 答えた． 「あなたの 言われるとおりにしましょう． あなたは， 我¿の 神， 主のような 神がほかにいないことを 知るようになります．
  2. 蛙はあなたとあなたの 王宮， 家臣や 民の 間から 退いて， ナイル 川以外には 殘らなくなるでしょう． 」
  3. モ ― セ と アロン が ファラオ のもとから 出て 來ると， モ ― セ は ファラオ を 惱ました 蛙のことで 主に 訴えた．
  4. 主は モ ― セ の 願いどおりにされ， 蛙は 家からも 庭からも 畑からも 死に 絶えた．
  5. 人¿はその 死骸を 幾山にも 積み 上げたので， 國中に 惡臭が 滿ちた．
  1. So Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt, and the frogs came up and covered the land.
  2. But the magicians did the same things by their secret arts; they also made frogs come up on the land of Egypt.
  3. Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said, "Pray to the LORD to take the frogs away from me and my people, and I will let your people go to offer sacrifices to the LORD."
  4. Moses said to Pharaoh, "I leave to you the honor of setting the time for me to pray for you and your officials and your people that you and your houses may be rid of the frogs, except for those that remain in the Nile."
  5. "Tomorrow," Pharaoh said. Moses replied, "It will be as you say, so that you may know there is no one like the LORD our God.
  1. ファラオ は 一息つく 暇ができたのを 見ると， 心を 頑迷にして， また 二人の 言うことを 聞き 入れなくなった． 主が 仰せになったとおりである．
  2. 主は モ ― セ に 言われた． 「アロン に 言いなさい． 『杖を 差し 伸べて 土の 塵を 打ち， ぶよにさせて エジプト 全土に 及ぼせ 』と． 」
  3. 彼らは 言われたとおりにし， アロン が 杖を 持った 手を 差し 伸べ 土の 塵を 打つと， 土の 塵はすべてぶよとなり， エジプト 全土に 廣がって 人と 家畜を 襲った．
  4. 魔術師も 秘術を 用いて 同じようにぶよを 出そうとしたが， できなかった． ぶよが 人と 家畜を 襲ったので，
  5. 魔術師は ファラオ に， 「これは 神の 指の ¿きでございます 」と 言ったが， ファラオ の 心はかたくなになり， 彼らの 言うことを 聞かなかった． 主が 仰せになったとおりである．
  1. The frogs will leave you and your houses, your officials and your people; they will remain only in the Nile."
  2. After Moses and Aaron left Pharaoh, Moses cried out to the LORD about the frogs he had brought on Pharaoh.
  3. And the LORD did what Moses asked. The frogs died in the houses, in the courtyards and in the fields.
  4. They were piled into heaps, and the land reeked of them.
  5. But when Pharaoh saw that there was relief, he hardened his heart and would not listen to Moses and Aaron, just as the LORD had said.
  1. 主は モ ― セ に 言われた． 「明朝早く 起きて， 水邊に 下りて 來る ファラオ を 出迎えて， 彼に 言いなさい． 主はこう 言われた． 『わたしの 民を 去らせ， わたしに 仕えさせよ．
  2. もしあなたがわたしの 民を 去らせないならば， 見よ， わたしはあなたとあなたの 家臣とあなたの 民とあなたの 家にあぶを 送る． エジプト の 人家にも 人が ¿いている 畑地にもあぶが 滿ちるであろう．
  3. しかし， その 日， わたしはわたしの 民の 住む ゴシェン 地方を 區別し， そこにあぶを 入り ¿ませない． あなたはこうして， 主なるわたしがこの 地のただ 中にいることを 知るようになる．
  4. わたしは， わたしの 民をあなたの 民から 區別して ·う． 明日， このしるしが 起こる 』と． 」
  5. 主がそのとおり 行われたので， あぶの 大群が ファラオ の 王宮や 家臣の 家に 入り， エジプト の 全土に 及んだ． 國はあぶのゆえに 荒れ 果てた．
  1. Then the LORD said to Moses, "Tell Aaron, 'Stretch out your staff and strike the dust of the ground,' and throughout the land of Egypt the dust will become gnats."
  2. They did this, and when Aaron stretched out his hand with the staff and struck the dust of the ground, gnats came upon men and animals. All the dust throughout the land of Egypt became gnats.
  3. But when the magicians tried to produce gnats by their secret arts, they could not. And the gnats were on men and animals.
  4. The magicians said to Pharaoh, "This is the finger of God." But Pharaoh's heart was hard and he would not listen, just as the LORD had said.
  5. Then the LORD said to Moses, "Get up early in the morning and confront Pharaoh as he goes to the water and say to him, 'This is what the LORD says: Let my people go, so that they may worship me.
  1. ファラオ が モ ― セ と アロン を 呼び 寄せて， 「行って， あなたたちの 神にこの 國の 中で ¿牲をささげるがよい 」と 言うと，
  2. モ ― セ は 答えた． 「そうすることはできません． 我¿の 神， 主にささげる ¿牲は， エジプト 人のいとうものです． もし， 彼らの 前で エジプト 人のいとうものをささげれば， 我¿を 石で 打ち 殺すのではありませんか．
  3. 我¿の 神， 主に ¿牲をささげるには， 神が 命じられたように， 三日の 道のりを 荒れ 野に 入らねばなりません． 」
  4. ファラオ が， 「よし， わたしはあなたたちを 去らせる． 荒れ 野であなたたちの 神， 主に ¿牲をささげるがよい． ただし， あまり 遠くへ 行ってはならない． わたしのためにも 祈願してくれ 」と 言うと，
  5. モ ― セ は 答えた． 「では， あなたのもとから 退出しましたら， 早速主に 祈願しましょう． 明日になれば， あぶは ファラオ とその 家臣と 民の 間から 飛び 去るでしょう． ただ， 二度と， 主に ¿牲をささげるために 民を 去らせないなどと 言って， 我¿を 欺かないでください． 」
  1. If you do not let my people go, I will send swarms of flies on you and your officials, on your people and into your houses. The houses of the Egyptians will be full of flies, and even the ground where they are.
  2. " 'But on that day I will deal differently with the land of Goshen, where my people live; no swarms of flies will be there, so that you will know that I, the LORD, am in this land.
  3. I will make a distinction between my people and your people. This miraculous sign will occur tomorrow.' "
  4. And the LORD did this. Dense swarms of flies poured into Pharaoh's palace and into the houses of his officials, and throughout Egypt the land was ruined by the flies.
  5. Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said, "Go, sacrifice to your God here in the land."
  1. モ ― セ は ファラオ のもとから 退出すると， 主に 祈願した．
  2. 主は モ ― セ の 願いどおりにされ， あぶは ファラオ と 家臣と 民の 間からすべて 飛び 去り， 一匹も 殘らなかった．
  3. しかし， ファラオ は 今度もまた 心を 頑迷にして 民を 去らせなかった．
  1. But Moses said, "That would not be right. The sacrifices we offer the LORD our God would be detestable to the Egyptians. And if we offer sacrifices that are detestable in their eyes, will they not stone us?
  2. We must take a three-day journey into the desert to offer sacrifices to the LORD our God, as he commands us."
  3. Pharaoh said, "I will let you go to offer sacrifices to the LORD your God in the desert, but you must not go very far. Now pray for me."
  4. Moses answered, "As soon as I leave you, I will pray to the LORD, and tomorrow the flies will leave Pharaoh and his officials and his people. Only be sure that Pharaoh does not act deceitfully again by not letting the people go to offer sacrifices to the LORD."
  5. Then Moses left Pharaoh and prayed to the LORD,
  1. and the LORD did what Moses asked: The flies left Pharaoh and his officials and his people; not a fly remained.
  2. But this time also Pharaoh hardened his heart and would not let the people go.
