마태복음 21:12-21:32

 예수께서 성전을 청결하시고 어린아이들의 찬미를 받으셨다. 다음날 아침, 예수께서 성에 들어오시는 길에 무화과나무에서 열매를 얻지 못하시자 나무를 저주하셨다. 예수님의 권위에 대해 묻는 대제사장과 장로들의 질문에, 예수님은 대답하는 대신 두 아들의 비유를 통해서 그들의 믿음 없음을 책망하셨다.
  
  성전 청결(21:12-21:22)    
 
  1. それから， イエス は 神殿の 境內に 入り， そこで 賣り 買いをしていた 人¿を 皆追い 出し， 兩替人の 台や 鳩を 賣る 者の 腰掛けを 倒された．
  2. そして 言われた． 「こう 書いてある． 『わたしの 家は， 祈りの 家と 呼ばれるべきである． 』／ところが， あなたたちは ／それを 强盜の 巢にしている． 」
  3. 境內では 目の 見えない 人や 足の 不自由な 人たちがそばに 寄って 來たので， イエス はこれらの 人¿をいやされた．
  4. 他方， 祭司長たちや， 律法學者たちは， イエス がなさった 不思議な 業を 見， 境內で 子供たちまで 叫んで， 「ダビデ の 子に ホサナ 」と 言うのを 聞いて 腹を 立て，
  5. イエス に 言った． 「子供たちが 何と 言っているか， 聞こえるか． 」 イエス は 言われた． 「聞こえる． あなたたちこそ， 『幼子や 乳飮み 子の 口に， あなたは 贊美を 歌わせた 』という 言葉をまだ 讀んだことがないのか． 」
  1. Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves.
  2. "It is written," he said to them, " 'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you are making it a 'den of robbers.'"
  3. The blind and the lame came to him at the temple, and he healed them.
  4. But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple area, "Hosanna to the Son of David," they were indignant.
  5. "Do you hear what these children are saying?" they asked him. "Yes," replied Jesus, "have you never read, " 'From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise'?"
  1. それから， イエス は 彼らと 別れ， 都を 出て ベタニア に 行き， そこにお 泊まりになった．
  2. 朝早く， 都に 歸る 途中， イエス は 空腹を 覺えられた．
  3. 道端にいちじくの 木があるのを 見て， 近寄られたが， 葉のほかは 何もなかった． そこで， 「今から 後いつまでも， お 前には 實がならないように 」と 言われると， いちじくの 木はたちまち 枯れてしまった．
  4. 弟子たちはこれを 見て 驚き， 「なぜ， たちまち 枯れてしまったのですか 」と 言った．
  5. イエス はお 答えになった． 「はっきり 言っておく． あなたがたも 信仰を 持ち， 疑わないならば， いちじくの 木に 起こったようなことができるばかりでなく， この 山に 向かい， 『立ち 上がって， 海に 飛び ¿め 』と 言っても， そのとおりになる．
  1. And he left them and went out of the city to Bethany, where he spent the night.
  2. Early in the morning, as he was on his way back to the city, he was hungry.
  3. Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, "May you never bear fruit again!" Immediately the tree withered.
  4. When the disciples saw this, they were amazed. "How did the fig tree wither so quickly?" they asked.
  5. Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done.
  1. 信じて 祈るならば， 求めるものは 何でも 得られる． 」
  1. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer."
 
  두 아들의 비유(21:23-21:32)    
 
  1. イエス が 神殿の 境內に 入って 敎えておられると， 祭司長や 民の 長老たちが 近寄って 來て 言った． 「何の 權威でこのようなことをしているのか． だれがその 權威を 與えたのか． 」
  2. イエス はお 答えになった． 「では， わたしも 一つ 尋ねる． それに 答えるなら， わたしも， 何の 權威でこのようなことをするのか， あなたたちに 言おう．
  3. ヨハネ の 洗禮はどこからのものだったか． 天からのものか， それとも， 人からのものか． 」彼らは 論じ 合った． 「『天からのものだ 』と 言えば， 『では， なぜ ヨハネ を 信じなかったのか 』と 我¿に 言うだろう．
  4. 『人からのものだ 』と 言えば， 群衆が 怖い． 皆が ヨハネ を 預言者と 思っているから． 」
  5. そこで， 彼らは イエス に， 「分からない 」と 答えた． すると， イエス も 言われた． 「それなら， 何の 權威でこのようなことをするのか， わたしも 言うまい． 」
  1. Jesus entered the temple courts, and, while he was teaching, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to him. "By what authority are you doing these things?" they asked. "And who gave you this authority?"
  2. Jesus replied, "I will also ask you one question. If you answer me, I will tell you by what authority I am doing these things.
  3. John's baptism--where did it come from? Was it from heaven, or from men?" They discussed it among themselves and said, "If we say, 'From heaven,' he will ask, 'Then why didn't you believe him?'
  4. But if we say, 'From men'--we are afraid of the people, for they all hold that John was a prophet."
  5. So they answered Jesus, "We don't know." Then he said, "Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.
  1. 「ところで， あなたたちはどう 思うか． ある 人に 息子が 二人いたが， 彼は 兄のところへ 行き， 『子よ， 今日， ぶどう 園へ 行って ¿きなさい 』と 言った．
  2. 兄は『いやです 』と 答えたが， 後で 考え 直して 出かけた．
  3. 弟のところへも 行って， 同じことを 言うと， 弟は『お 父さん， 承知しました 』と 答えたが， 出かけなかった．
  4. この 二人のうち， どちらが 父親の 望みどおりにしたか． 」彼らが「兄の 方です 」と 言うと， イエス は 言われた． 「はっきり 言っておく． 徵稅人や 娼婦たちの 方が， あなたたちより 先に 神の 國に 入るだろう．
  5. なぜなら， ヨハネ が 來て 義の 道を 示したのに， あなたたちは 彼を 信ぜず， 徵稅人や 娼婦たちは 信じたからだ． あなたたちはそれを 見ても， 後で 考え 直して 彼を 信じようとしなかった． 」
  1. "What do you think? There was a man who had two sons. He went to the first and said, 'Son, go and work today in the vineyard.'
  2. " 'I will not,' he answered, but later he changed his mind and went.
  3. "Then the father went to the other son and said the same thing. He answered, 'I will, sir,' but he did not go.
  4. "Which of the two did what his father wanted?" "The first," they answered. Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you.
  5. For John came to you to show you the way of righteousness, and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes did. And even after you saw this, you did not repent and believe him.
