열왕기하 24:1-25:30

 유다가 바벨론에 대해 반기를 들자 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살은 1,2차에 걸쳐 예루살렘을 침공하여 여호야김과 여호야긴을 포로로 끌고 가고, 시드기야를 왕으로 세웠다. 그러나 시드기야 역시 반바벨론 정책으로 실책과 악정의 전철을 밟았으며, 결국 바벨론의 3차 침공으로 예루살렘은 멸망당하고 말았다. 포로로 끌려간 여호야긴은 37년 만에 석방되어 일평생 왕 앞에서 먹고 살 수 있게 되었다.
  
  유다의 마지막 왕들(24:1-24:20)    
 
  1. 彼の 治世に， バビロン の 王 ネブカドネツァル が 攻め 上って 來た． ヨヤキム は 三年間彼に 服從したが， 再び 反逆した．
  2. 主は 彼に 對して カルデア 人の 部隊， アラム 人の 部隊， モアブ 人の 部隊， アンモン 人の 部隊を 遣わされた． 主はその 僕である 預言者たちによってお 告げになった 主の 言葉のとおり， ユダ を 滅ぼすために 彼らを 差し 向けられた．
  3. ユダ が 主の 御前から 退けられることは， まさに 主の 御命令によるが， それは マナセ の 罪のため， 彼の 行ったすべての 事のためであり，
  4. また マナセ が 罪のない 者の 血を 流し， エルサレム を 罪のない 者の 血で 滿たしたためである． 主はそれを 赦そうとはされなかった．
  5. ヨヤキム の 他の 事績， 彼の 行ったすべての 事は， 『ユダ の 王の 歷代誌 』に 記されている．
  1. During Jehoiakim's reign, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon invaded the land, and Jehoiakim became his vassal for three years. But then he changed his mind and rebelled against Nebuchadnezzar.
  2. The LORD sent Babylonian, Aramean, Moabite and Ammonite raiders against him. He sent them to destroy Judah, in accordance with the word of the LORD proclaimed by his servants the prophets.
  3. Surely these things happened to Judah according to the LORD's command, in order to remove them from his presence because of the sins of Manasseh and all he had done,
  4. including the shedding of innocent blood. For he had filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, and the LORD was not willing to forgive.
  5. As for the other events of Jehoiakim's reign, and all he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Judah?
  1. ヨヤキム は 先祖と 共に 眠りにつき， その 子 ヨヤキン が 代わって 王となった．
  2. エジプト の 王は 自分の 地から 再び 出て 來ることがなかった． バビロン の 王が， エジプト の 川から ユ ― フラテス 川に 至るまで， エジプト の 王のものであったすべての 地方を 占領したからである．
  3. ヨヤキン は 十八歲で 王となり， 三か 月間 エルサレム で 王位にあった． その 母は 名を ネフシュタ といい， エルサレム 出身の エルナタン の 娘であった．
  4. 彼は 父が 行ったように， 主の 目に 惡とされることをことごとく 行った．
  5. そのころ， バビロン の 王 ネブカドネツァル の 部將たちが エルサレム に 攻め 上って 來て， この 都を 包圍した．
  1. Jehoiakim rested with his fathers. And Jehoiachin his son succeeded him as king.
  2. The king of Egypt did not march out from his own country again, because the king of Babylon had taken all his territory, from the Wadi of Egypt to the Euphrates River.
  3. Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem three months. His mother's name was Nehushta daughter of Elnathan; she was from Jerusalem.
  4. He did evil in the eyes of the LORD, just as his father had done.
  5. At that time the officers of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon advanced on Jerusalem and laid siege to it,
  1. 部將たちが 都を 包圍しているところに， バビロン の 王 ネブカドネツァル も 來た．
  2. ユダ の 王 ヨヤキン は 母， 家臣， 高官， 宦官らと 共に バビロン 王の 前に 出て 行き， バビロン の 王はその 治世第八年に 彼を 捕らえた．
  3. 主が 告げられたとおり， バビロン の 王は 主の 神殿の 寶物と 王宮の 寶物をことごとく 運び 出し， イスラエル の 王 ソロモン が 主の 聖所のために 造った 金の 器をことごとく 切り 刻んだ．
  4. 彼は エルサレム のすべての 人¿， すなわちすべての 高官とすべての 勇士一万人， それにすべての 職人と 鍛冶を 捕囚として 連れ 去り， 殘されたのはただ 國の 民の 中の 貧しい 者だけであった．
  5. 彼は ヨヤキン を 捕囚として バビロン に 連れ 去り， その 王の 母， 王妃たち， 宦官たち， 國の 有力者たちも， 捕囚として エルサレム から バビロン に 行かせた．
  1. and Nebuchadnezzar himself came up to the city while his officers were besieging it.
  2. Jehoiachin king of Judah, his mother, his attendants, his nobles and his officials all surrendered to him. In the eighth year of the reign of the king of Babylon, he took Jehoiachin prisoner.
  3. As the LORD had declared, Nebuchadnezzar removed all the treasures from the temple of the LORD and from the royal palace, and took away all the gold articles that Solomon king of Israel had made for the temple of the LORD.
  4. He carried into exile all Jerusalem: all the officers and fighting men, and all the craftsmen and artisans--a total of ten thousand. Only the poorest people of the land were left.
  5. Nebuchadnezzar took Jehoiachin captive to Babylon. He also took from Jerusalem to Babylon the king's mother, his wives, his officials and the leading men of the land.
  1. バビロン の 王はすべての 軍人七千人， 職人と 鍛冶千人， 勇敢な 戰士全員を， 捕囚として バビロン に 連れて 行った．
  2. バビロン の 王は ヨヤキン に 代えて， そのおじ マタンヤ を 王とし， その 名を ゼデキヤ と 改めさせた．
  3. ゼデキヤ は 二十一歲で 王となり， 十一年間 エルサレム で 王位にあった． その 母は 名を ハムタル といい， リブナ 出身の イルメヤ の 娘であった．
  4. 彼は ヨヤキム が 行ったように， 主の 目に 惡とされることをことごとく 行った．
  5. エルサレム と ユダ は 主の 怒りによってこのような 事態になり， ついにその 御前から 捨て 去られることになった． ゼデキヤ は バビロン の 王に 反旗を 飜した．
  1. The king of Babylon also deported to Babylon the entire force of seven thousand fighting men, strong and fit for war, and a thousand craftsmen and artisans.
  2. He made Mattaniah, Jehoiachin's uncle, king in his place and changed his name to Zedekiah.
  3. Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem eleven years. His mother's name was Hamutal daughter of Jeremiah; she was from Libnah.
  4. He did evil in the eyes of the LORD, just as Jehoiakim had done.
  5. It was because of the LORD's anger that all this happened to Jerusalem and Judah, and in the end he thrust them from his presence. Now Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
 
  예루살렘 함락(25:1-25:30)    
 
  1. ゼデキヤ の 治世第九年の 第十の 月の 十日に， バビロン の 王 ネブカドネツァル は 全軍を 率いて エルサレム に 到着し， 陣を 敷き， 周りに 堡壘を 築いた．
  2. 都は 包圍され， ゼデキヤ 王の 第十一年に 至った．
  3. その 月の 九日に 都の 中で 飢えが 嚴しくなり， 國の 民の 食糧が 盡き，
  4. 都の 一角が 破られた． カルデア 人が 都を 取り 卷いていたが， 戰士たちは 皆， 夜中に 王の 園に 近い 二つの 城壁の 間にある 門を 通って 逃げ 出した． 王は アラバ に 向かって 行った．
  5. カルデア 軍は 王の 後を 追い， エリコ の 荒れ 地で 彼に 追いついた． 王の 軍隊はすべて 王を 離れ 去ってちりぢりになった．
  1. So in the ninth year of Zedekiah's reign, on the tenth day of the tenth month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon marched against Jerusalem with his whole army. He encamped outside the city and built siege works all around it.
  2. The city was kept under siege until the eleventh year of King Zedekiah.
  3. By the ninth day of the fourth month the famine in the city had become so severe that there was no food for the people to eat.
  4. Then the city wall was broken through, and the whole army fled at night through the gate between the two walls near the king's garden, though the Babylonians were surrounding the city. They fled toward the Arabah,
  5. but the Babylonian army pursued the king and overtook him in the plains of Jericho. All his soldiers were separated from him and scattered,
  1. 王は 捕らえられ， リブラ にいる バビロン の 王のもとに 連れて 行かれ， 裁きを 受けた．
  2. 彼らは ゼデキヤ の 目の 前で 彼の 王子たちを 殺し， その 上で バビロン の 王は 彼の 兩眼をつぶし， 靑銅の 足枷をはめ， 彼を バビロン に 連れて 行った．
  3. 第五の 月の 七日， バビロン の 王 ネブカドネツァル の 第十九年のこと， バビロン の 王の 家臣， 親衛隊の 長 ネブザルアダン が エルサレム に 來て，
  4. 主の 神殿， 王宮， エルサレム の 家屋をすべて 燒き 拂った． 大いなる 家屋もすべて， 火を 放って 燒き 拂った．
  5. また 親衛隊の 長と 共に 來た カルデア 人は， 軍をあげて エルサレム の 周圍の 城壁を 取り 壞した．
  1. and he was captured. He was taken to the king of Babylon at Riblah, where sentence was pronounced on him.
  2. They killed the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes. Then they put out his eyes, bound him with bronze shackles and took him to Babylon.
  3. On the seventh day of the fifth month, in the nineteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan commander of the imperial guard, an official of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem.
  4. He set fire to the temple of the LORD, the royal palace and all the houses of Jerusalem. Every important building he burned down.
  5. The whole Babylonian army, under the commander of the imperial guard, broke down the walls around Jerusalem.
  1. 民のうち 都に 殘っていたほかの 者， バビロン の 王に 投降した 者， その 他の 民衆は， 親衛隊の 長 ネブザルアダン によって 捕囚とされ， 連れ 去られた．
  2. この 地の 貧しい 民の 一部は， 親衛隊の 長によってぶどう 畑と 耕地にそのまま 殘された．
  3. カルデア 人は 主の 神殿の 靑銅の 柱， 台車， 主の 神殿にあった 靑銅の「海 」を ¿いて， その 靑銅を バビロン へ 運び 去り，
  4. 壺， 十能， 芯切り 員， 柄杓など， 祭儀用の 靑銅の 器をことごとく 奪い 取った．
  5. また 親衛隊の 長は， 火皿， 鉢など， 金製品も 銀製品もすべて 奪い 取った．
  1. Nebuzaradan the commander of the guard carried into exile the people who remained in the city, along with the rest of the populace and those who had gone over to the king of Babylon.
  2. But the commander left behind some of the poorest people of the land to work the vineyards and fields.
  3. The Babylonians broke up the bronze pillars, the movable stands and the bronze Sea that were at the temple of the LORD and they carried the bronze to Babylon.
  4. They also took away the pots, shovels, wick trimmers, dishes and all the bronze articles used in the temple service.
  5. The commander of the imperial guard took away the censers and sprinkling bowls--all that were made of pure gold or silver.
  1. ソロモン が 主の 神殿のために 作らせた 二本の 柱， 一つの「海 」， 台車についていえば， これらすべてのものの 靑銅の 重量は 量りきれなかった．
  2. 一本の 柱の 高さは 十八 アンマ で， その 上に 靑銅の 柱頭があり， その 柱頭の 高さが 三 アンマ ， 柱頭の 周りには 格子模樣の 浮き 彫りとざくろがあって， このすべてが 靑銅であった． もう 一本の 柱も 格子模樣の 浮き 彫りまで 同樣に 出來ていた．
  3. 親衛隊の 長は， 祭司長 セラヤ ， 次席祭司 ツェファンヤ ， 入り 口を 守る 者三人を 捕らえた．
  4. また 彼は， 戰士の 監督をする 宦官一人， 都にいた 王の 側近五人， 國の 民の 徵兵を 擔當する 將軍の 書記官， および 都にいた 國の 民六十人を 都から 連れ 去った．
  5. 親衛隊の 長 ネブザルアダン は 彼らを 捕らえて， リブラ にいる バビロン の 王のもとに 連れて 行った．
  1. The bronze from the two pillars, the Sea and the movable stands, which Solomon had made for the temple of the LORD, was more than could be weighed.
  2. Each pillar was twenty-seven feet high. The bronze capital on top of one pillar was four and a half feet high and was decorated with a network and pomegranates of bronze all around. The other pillar, with its network, was similar.
  3. The commander of the guard took as prisoners Seraiah the chief priest, Zephaniah the priest next in rank and the three doorkeepers.
  4. Of those still in the city, he took the officer in charge of the fighting men and five royal advisers. He also took the secretary who was chief officer in charge of conscripting the people of the land and sixty of his men who were found in the city.
  5. Nebuzaradan the commander took them all and brought them to the king of Babylon at Riblah.
  1. バビロン の 王は ハマト 地方の リブラ で 彼らを 打ち 殺した． こうして ユダ は 自分の 土地を 追われて 捕囚となった．
  2. バビロン の 王 ネブカドネツァル は， 彼が 殘して， ユダ の 地にとどまった 民の 上に， シャファン の 孫で アヒカム の 子である ゲダルヤ を 總督として 立てた．
  3. すべての 軍の 長たちはその 部下と 共に， バビロン の 王が ゲダルヤ を 立てて 總督としたことを 聞き， ミツパ にいる ゲダルヤ のもとに 集まって 來た． それは ネタンヤ の 子 イシュマエル ， カレア の 子 ヨハナン ， ネトファ 人 タンフメト の 子 セラヤ ， マアカ 人の 子 ヤアザンヤ とその 部下たちであった．
  4. ゲダルヤ は 彼らとその 部下たちに 誓って 言った． 「カルデア 人の 役人を 恐れてはならない． この 地にとどまり， バビロン の 王に 仕えなさい． あなたたちは 幸せになる． 」
  5. ところが 第七の 月に， 王族の 一人， エリシャマ の 孫で ネタンヤ の 子である イシュマエル が， 十人の 部下を 率いて 來て ゲダルヤ を 打ち 殺した． 彼と 共に ミツパ にいた ユダ の 人¿も カルデア 人も 打ち 殺された．
  1. There at Riblah, in the land of Hamath, the king had them executed. So Judah went into captivity, away from her land.
  2. Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon appointed Gedaliah son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, to be over the people he had left behind in Judah.
  3. When all the army officers and their men heard that the king of Babylon had appointed Gedaliah as governor, they came to Gedaliah at Mizpah--Ishmael son of Nethaniah, Johanan son of Kareah, Seraiah son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, Jaazaniah the son of the Maacathite, and their men.
  4. Gedaliah took an oath to reassure them and their men. "Do not be afraid of the Babylonian officials," he said. "Settle down in the land and serve the king of Babylon, and it will go well with you."
  5. In the seventh month, however, Ishmael son of Nethaniah, the son of Elishama, who was of royal blood, came with ten men and assassinated Gedaliah and also the men of Judah and the Babylonians who were with him at Mizpah.
  1. 民は 皆， 上の 者から 下の 者まで， また 軍の 長たちも， カルデア 人を 恐れて， 直ちに エジプト に 出發した．
  2. ユダ の 王 ヨヤキン が 捕囚となって 三十七年目の 第十二の 月の 二十七日に， バビロン の 王 エビル · メロダク は， その 卽位の 年に ユダ の 王 ヨヤキン に 情けをかけ， 彼を 出獄させた．
  3. バビロン の 王は 彼を 手厚くもてなし， バビロン で 共にいた 王たちの 中で 彼に 最も 高い 位を 與えた．
  4. ヨヤキン は 獄中の 衣を 脫ぎ， 生きている 間， 每日欠かさず 王と 食事を 共にすることとなった．
  5. 彼は 生きている 間， 每日， 日¿の 糧を 常に 王から 支給された．
  1. At this, all the people from the least to the greatest, together with the army officers, fled to Egypt for fear of the Babylonians.
  2. In the thirty-seventh year of the exile of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the year Evil-Merodach became king of Babylon, he released Jehoiachin from prison on the twenty-seventh day of the twelfth month.
  3. He spoke kindly to him and gave him a seat of honor higher than those of the other kings who were with him in Babylon.
  4. So Jehoiachin put aside his prison clothes and for the rest of his life ate regularly at the king's table.
  5. Day by day the king gave Jehoiachin a regular allowance as long as he lived.
