- このようなわけで， 一人の 人によって 罪が 世に 入り， 罪によって 死が 入り ¿んだように， 死はすべての 人に 及んだのです． すべての 人が 罪を 犯したからです．
- 律法が 與えられる 前にも 罪は 世にあったが， 律法がなければ， 罪は 罪と 認められないわけです．
- しかし， アダム から モ ― セ までの 間にも， アダム の 違犯と 同じような 罪を 犯さなかった 人の 上にさえ， 死は 支配しました． 實に アダム は， 來るべき 方を 前もって 表す 者だったのです．
- しかし， 惠みの 賜物は 罪とは 比較になりません． 一人の 罪によって 多くの 人が 死ぬことになったとすれば， なおさら， 神の 惠みと 一人の 人 イエス · キリスト の 惠みの 賜物とは， 多くの 人に 豊かに 注がれるのです．
- この 賜物は， 罪を 犯した 一人によってもたらされたようなものではありません． 裁きの 場合は， 一つの 罪でも 有罪の 判決が 下されますが， 惠みが ¿くときには， いかに 多くの 罪があっても， 無罪の 判決が 下されるからです．

- Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned--
- for before the law was given, sin was in the world. But sin is not taken into account when there is no law.
- Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who was a pattern of the one to come.
- But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God's grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!
- Again, the gift of God is not like the result of the one man's sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification.

- 一人の 罪によって， その 一人を 通して 死が 支配するようになったとすれば， なおさら， 神の 惠みと 義の 賜物とを 豊かに 受けている 人は， 一人の イエス · キリスト を 通して 生き， 支配するようになるのです．
- そこで， 一人の 罪によってすべての 人に 有罪の 判決が 下されたように， 一人の 正しい 行爲によって， すべての 人が 義とされて 命を 得ることになったのです．
- 一人の 人の 不從順によって 多くの 人が 罪人とされたように， 一人の 從順によって 多くの 人が 正しい 者とされるのです．
- 律法が 入り ¿んで 來たのは， 罪が 增し 加わるためでありました． しかし， 罪が 增したところには， 惠みはなおいっそう 滿ちあふれました．
- こうして， 罪が 死によって 支配していたように， 惠みも 義によって 支配しつつ， わたしたちの 主 イエス · キリスト を 通して 永遠の 命に 導くのです．

- For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ.
- Consequently, just as the result of one trespass was condemnation for all men, so also the result of one act of righteousness was justification that brings life for all men.
- For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous.
- The law was added so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more,
- so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
