- わたしたち 强い 者は， 强くない 者の 弱さを 擔うべきであり， 自分の 滿足を 求めるべきではありません．
- おのおの 善を 行って 隣人を 喜ばせ， 互いの 向上に 努めるべきです．
- キリスト も 御自分の 滿足はお 求めになりませんでした． 「あなたをそしる 者のそしりが， わたしにふりかかった 」と 書いてあるとおりです．
- かつて 書かれた 事柄は， すべてわたしたちを 敎え 導くためのものです． それでわたしたちは， 聖書から 忍耐と 慰めを 學んで 希望を 持ち 續けることができるのです．
- 忍耐と 慰めの 源である 神が， あなたがたに， キリスト · イエス に 倣って 互いに 同じ 思いを 抱かせ，

- We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves.
- Each of us should please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.
- For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: "The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me."
- For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.
- May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus,
