- 兄弟たち， 靈的な 賜物については， 次のことはぜひ 知っておいてほしい．
- あなたがたがまだ 異敎徒だったころ， 誘われるままに， ものの 言えない 偶像のもとに 連れて 行かれたことを 覺えているでしょう．
- ここであなたがたに 言っておきたい． 神の 靈によって 語る 人は， だれも「イエス は 神から 見捨てられよ 」とは 言わないし， また， 聖靈によらなければ， だれも「イエス は 主である 」とは 言えないのです．
- 賜物にはいろいろありますが， それをお 與えになるのは 同じ 靈です．
- 務めにはいろいろありますが， それをお 與えになるのは 同じ 主です．

- Now about spiritual gifts, brothers, I do not want you to be ignorant.
- You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols.
- Therefore I tell you that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus be cursed," and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit.
- There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit.
- There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord.

- ¿きにはいろいろありますが， すべての 場合にすべてのことをなさるのは 同じ 神です．
- 一人一人に “靈 ＂の ¿きが 現れるのは， 全體の 益となるためです．
- ある 人には “靈 ＂によって 知惠の 言葉， ある 人には 同じ “靈 ＂によって 知識の 言葉が 與えられ，
- ある 人にはその 同じ “靈 ＂によって 信仰， ある 人にはこの 唯一の “靈 ＂によって 病氣をいやす 力，
- ある 人には 奇跡を 行う 力， ある 人には 預言する 力， ある 人には 靈を 見分ける 力， ある 人には 種¿の 異言を 語る 力， ある 人には 異言を 解釋する 力が 與えられています．

- There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men.
- Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.
- To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit,
- to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit,
- to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.

- これらすべてのことは， 同じ 唯一の “靈 ＂の ¿きであって， “靈 ＂は 望むままに， それを 一人一人に 分け 與えてくださるのです．
- 體は 一つでも， 多くの 部分から 成り， 體のすべての 部分の 數は 多くても， 體は 一つであるように， キリスト の 場合も 同樣である．
- つまり， 一つの 靈によって， わたしたちは， ユダヤ 人であろうと ギリシア 人であろうと， 奴隷であろうと 自由な 身分の 者であろうと， 皆一つの 體となるために 洗禮を 受け， 皆一つの 靈をのませてもらったのです．
- 體は， 一つの 部分ではなく， 多くの 部分から 成っています．
- 足が， 「わたしは 手ではないから， 體の 一部ではない 」と 言ったところで， 體の 一部でなくなるでしょうか．

- All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines.
- The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ.
- For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body--whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free--and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.
- Now the body is not made up of one part but of many.
- If the foot should say, "Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body," it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body.

- 耳が， 「わたしは 目ではないから， 體の 一部ではない 」と 言ったところで， 體の 一部でなくなるでしょうか．
- もし 體全體が 目だったら， どこで 聞きますか． もし 全體が 耳だったら， どこでにおいをかぎますか．
- そこで 神は， 御自分の 望みのままに， 體に 一つ 一つの 部分を 置かれたのです．
- すべてが 一つの 部分になってしまったら， どこに 體というものがあるでしょう．
- だから， 多くの 部分があっても， 一つの 體なのです．

- And if the ear should say, "Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body," it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body.
- If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be?
- But in fact God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be.
- If they were all one part, where would the body be?
- As it is, there are many parts, but one body.

- 目が 手に 向かって「お 前は 要らない 」とは 言えず， また， 頭が 足に 向かって「お 前たちは 要らない 」とも 言えません．
- それどころか， 體の 中でほかよりも 弱く 見える 部分が， かえって 必要なのです．
- わたしたちは， 體の 中でほかよりも 恰好が 惡いと 思われる 部分を 覆って， もっと 恰好よくしようとし， 見苦しい 部分をもっと 見榮えよくしようとします．
- 見榮えのよい 部分には， そうする 必要はありません． 神は， 見劣りのする 部分をいっそう 引き 立たせて， 體を 組み 立てられました．
- それで， 體に 分裂が 起こらず， 各部分が 互いに 配慮し 合っています．

- The eye cannot say to the hand, "I don't need you!" And the head cannot say to the feet, "I don't need you!"
- On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable,
- and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty,
- while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has combined the members of the body and has given greater honor to the parts that lacked it,
- so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other.

- 一つの 部分が 苦しめば， すべての 部分が 共に 苦しみ， 一つの 部分が 尊ばれれば， すべての 部分が 共に 喜ぶのです．
- あなたがたは キリスト の 體であり， また， 一人一人はその 部分です．

- If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.
- Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.
