욥기 20:1-22:30

 소발은 잔인하기 짝이 없는 비유까지 서슴지 않고 하면서 욥에게 회개를 강조하였다. 이에 대하여 욥은 가만히 있을 수 없어서 악인의 형통함에 관하여 역설하였다. 엘리바스는 욥의 죄악이 크다고 책망하였다. 그러나 훗날에 그는 위로자의 자세로 돌아가 회개하여 불의를 버리면 하나님께서 다시 욥의 기도를 들어주실 것이라고 권면하였다.
  
  소발의 두번째 충고(20:1-20:29)    
 
  1. ナアマ 人 ツォファル は 答えた．
  2. さまざまな 思いがわたしを 興奮させるので ／わたしは 反論せざるをえない．
  3. あなたの 說はわたしに 對する 非難と 聞こえる． 明らかにすることを 望んで， 答えよう．
  4. あなたも 知っているだろうが ／昔， 人が 地上に 置かれたときから
  5. 神に 逆らう 者の 喜びは， はかなく ／神を 無視する 者の 樂しみは， つかの 間にすぎない．
  1. Then Zophar the Naamathite replied:
  2. "My troubled thoughts prompt me to answer because I am greatly disturbed.
  3. I hear a rebuke that dishonors me, and my understanding inspires me to reply.
  4. "Surely you know how it has been from of old, ever since man was placed on the earth,
  5. that the mirth of the wicked is brief, the joy of the godless lasts but a moment.
  1. たとえ 彼が 天に 達するほど ／頭が 雲に 達するほど 上って 行っても
  2. 自分の 汚物と 同樣， 永久に 失われ ／探す 者は， 「どこへ 行ってしまったのか 」と 言わなければならなくなる．
  3. 夢のように 飛び 去り ／夜の 幻のように 消えうせ ／だれも 見いだすことはないだろう．
  4. 彼を 見ていた 目はもう 彼を 見ることなく ／彼のいた 所も 二度と 彼を 見ない．
  5. その 子らは 貧しい 人¿に 償いをし ／子孫は 奪った 富を 返濟しなければならない．
  1. Though his pride reaches to the heavens and his head touches the clouds,
  2. he will perish forever, like his own dung; those who have seen him will say, 'Where is he?'
  3. Like a dream he flies away, no more to be found, banished like a vision of the night.
  4. The eye that saw him will not see him again; his place will look on him no more.
  5. His children must make amends to the poor; his own hands must give back his wealth.
  1. 若さがその 骨に 溢れていたが ／それも 彼と 共に 塵の 上に 伏すことになろう．
  2. 惡が 口に 甘いからと ／舌で 抑えて 隱しておき
  3. 惜しんで 吐き 出さず ／口の 中に 含んでいれば
  4. その パン は 胃の 中に 入って ／ コブラ の 毒と 變わる．
  5. 呑み ¿んだ 富は 吐き 出さなければならない． 神は 彼の 腹からそれを 取り 上げられる．
  1. The youthful vigor that fills his bones will lie with him in the dust.
  2. "Though evil is sweet in his mouth and he hides it under his tongue,
  3. though he cannot bear to let it go and keeps it in his mouth,
  4. yet his food will turn sour in his stomach; it will become the venom of serpents within him.
  5. He will spit out the riches he swallowed; God will make his stomach vomit them up.
  1. 彼の 飮んだのは コブラ の 毒． ·の 舌が 彼を 殺す．
  2. 彼は 蜂蜜と 乳脂の 流れる 川の ／その 流れを 見ることはない．
  3. 勞して 獲たものをも 呑み ¿まずに 返し ／商いで 富を 得ても 樂しむことはない．
  4. なぜなら， 貧しい 人¿を 虐げ 見捨て ／自ら 建てもしない 家を 奪い 取ったから．
  5. その 腹は 滿足することを 知らず ／欲望から 逃れられず
  1. He will suck the poison of serpents; the fangs of an adder will kill him.
  2. He will not enjoy the streams, the rivers flowing with honey and cream.
  3. What he toiled for he must give back uneaten; he will not enjoy the profit from his trading.
  4. For he has oppressed the poor and left them destitute; he has seized houses he did not build.
  5. "Surely he will have no respite from his craving; he cannot save himself by his treasure.
  1. 食い 盡くして， 何も 殘さない． それゆえ， 彼の 繁榮は 長くは 續かず
  2. 豊かさの 極みにあって 欠乏に 陷り ／すべて 勞苦する 手が 彼を 襲う．
  3. 腹を 滿たそうとすれば ／神は 燃える 怒りを 注ぎ ／それを パン として 彼に 浴びせかける．
  4. 鐵の 武器から 逃れても ／靑銅の 弓が 彼を 射拔き
  5. 矢は 彼を 貫いて 背中に 出る． それは 膽汁にぬれて 光り ／神の 威力が 彼を 壓倒する．
  1. Nothing is left for him to devour; his prosperity will not endure.
  2. In the midst of his plenty, distress will overtake him; the full force of misery will come upon him.
  3. When he has filled his belly, God will vent his burning anger against him and rain down his blows upon him.
  4. Though he flees from an iron weapon, a bronze-tipped arrow pierces him.
  5. He pulls it out of his back, the gleaming point out of his liver. Terrors will come over him;
  1. 暗黑が 彼の 寶を 待ち 構え ／吹き 起こされたのでもない 火が 彼をなめ 盡くし ／天幕に 殘っているものをも 滅ぼし 盡くす．
  2. 天は 彼の 罪を 暴き ／地は 彼に 對して 立ち 上がる．
  3. 神の 怒りの 日に， 洪水が 起こり ／大水は 彼の 家をぬぐい 去る．
  4. 神に 逆らう 者が 神から 受ける 分 ／神の 命令による 嗣業はこれだ．
  1. total darkness lies in wait for his treasures. A fire unfanned will consume him and devour what is left in his tent.
  2. The heavens will expose his guilt; the earth will rise up against him.
  3. A flood will carry off his house, rushing waters on the day of God's wrath.
  4. Such is the fate God allots the wicked, the heritage appointed for them by God."
 
  욥의 변증(21:1-21:34)    
 
  1. ヨブ は 答えた．
  2. どうか， わたしの 言葉を 聞いてくれ． 聞いてもらうことがわたしの 慰めなのだ．
  3. 我慢して， わたしに 話をさせてくれ． わたしが 話してから， 嘲笑うがいい．
  4. わたしは 人間に 向かって 訴えているのだろうか． なぜ， 我慢しなければならないのか．
  5. わたしに 顔を 向けてくれ． そして 驚き， 口に 手を 當てるがよい．
  1. Then Job replied:
  2. "Listen carefully to my words; let this be the consolation you give me.
  3. Bear with me while I speak, and after I have spoken, mock on.
  4. "Is my complaint directed to man? Why should I not be impatient?
  5. Look at me and be astonished; clap your hand over your mouth.
  1. わたし 自身， これを 思うと 慄然とし ／身震いが 止まらない．
  2. なぜ， 神に 逆らう 者が 生き 永らえ ／年を 重ねてなお， 力を 增し 加えるのか．
  3. 子孫は 彼らを 圍んで 確かに 續き ／その 末を 目の 前に 見ることができる．
  4. その 家は 平和で， 何の 恐れもなく ／神の 鞭が 彼らに 下ることはない．
  5. 彼らの 雄牛は 常に 子をはらませ ／雌牛は 子を 産んで， 死なせることはない．
  1. When I think about this, I am terrified; trembling seizes my body.
  2. Why do the wicked live on, growing old and increasing in power?
  3. They see their children established around them, their offspring before their eyes.
  4. Their homes are safe and free from fear; the rod of God is not upon them.
  5. Their bulls never fail to breed; their cows calve and do not miscarry.
  1. 彼らは 羊の 群れのように 子供を 送り 出し ／その 子らは 踊り 跳ね
  2. 太鼓や 竪琴に 合わせて 歌い ／笛を 吹いて 樂しむ．
  3. 彼らは 幸せに 人生を 送り ／安らかに 陰府に 赴く．
  4. 彼らは 神に 向かって 言う． 「ほうっておいてください． あなたに 從う 道など 知りたくもない．
  5. なぜ， 全能者に 仕えなければならないのか． 神に 祈って 何になるのか． 」
  1. They send forth their children as a flock; their little ones dance about.
  2. They sing to the music of tambourine and harp; they make merry to the sound of the flute.
  3. They spend their years in prosperity and go down to the grave in peace.
  4. Yet they say to God, 'Leave us alone! We have no desire to know your ways.
  5. Who is the Almighty, that we should serve him? What would we gain by praying to him?'
  1. だが， 彼らは 財産を 手にしているではないか． 神に 逆らう 者の 考えはわたしから 遠い．
  2. 神に 逆らう 者の 燈が 消され， 災いが 襲い ／神が 怒って 破滅を 下したことが 何度あろうか．
  3. 藁のように 風に 吹き 散らされ ／もみ 殼のように ／突風に 吹き 飛ばされたことがあろうか．
  4. 神は 彼への 罰を ／その 子らの 代にまで 延ばしておかれるのか． 彼自身を 罰して ／思い 知らせてくださればよいのに．
  5. 自分の 目で 自分の 不幸を 見 ／全能者の 怒りを 飮み 干せばよいのだ．
  1. But their prosperity is not in their own hands, so I stand aloof from the counsel of the wicked.
  2. "Yet how often is the lamp of the wicked snuffed out? How often does calamity come upon them, the fate God allots in his anger?
  3. How often are they like straw before the wind, like chaff swept away by a gale?
  4. It is said, 'God stores up a man's punishment for his sons.' Let him repay the man himself, so that he will know it!
  5. Let his own eyes see his destruction; let him drink of the wrath of the Almighty.
  1. 人生の 年月が 盡きてしまえば ／殘された 家はどうなってもよいのだから．
  2. 「人が 神に 知識を 授けえようか． 彼は 高きにいまし， 裁きを 行われる 」と 言う．
  3. ある 人は， 死に 至るまで 不自由なく ／安泰， 平穩の 一生を 送る．
  4. 彼はまるまると 太り ／骨の ¿まで 潤っている．
  5. また， ある 人は 死に 至るまで 惱み 嘆き ／幸せを 味わうこともない．
  1. For what does he care about the family he leaves behind when his allotted months come to an end?
  2. "Can anyone teach knowledge to God, since he judges even the highest?
  3. One man dies in full vigor, completely secure and at ease,
  4. his body well nourished, his bones rich with marrow.
  5. Another man dies in bitterness of soul, never having enjoyed anything good.
  1. だが， どちらも 塵に 橫たわれば ／等しく， ·に 覆われるではないか．
  2. あなたたちの 考えはよく 分かっている． わたしに 對して 不法にも 惡をたくらんでいるのだ．
  3. 「あの 高潔な 人の 館はどうなり ／この 神に 逆らう 者の 住まいとした 天幕は ／どうなったのか 」とあなたたちは 問う．
  4. 通りかかる 人¿に 尋ねなかったのか． 兩者の 殘した 證しを ／否定することはできないであろう．
  5. 惡人が 災いの 日を 免れ ／怒りの 日を 逃れているのに
  1. Side by side they lie in the dust, and worms cover them both.
  2. "I know full well what you are thinking, the schemes by which you would wrong me.
  3. You say, 'Where now is the great man's house, the tents where wicked men lived?'
  4. Have you never questioned those who travel? Have you paid no regard to their accounts-
  5. that the evil man is spared from the day of calamity, that he is delivered from the day of wrath?
  1. 誰が 面と 向かってその 步んできた 道を 暴き ／誰がその 仕業を 罰するだろうか．
  2. 彼は 葬式の 行列によって 運ばれ ／その 墓には 番人も 立ち
  3. 谷間の 土くれさえ 彼には 快さそうだ． 人は 皆彼の 後に 續き ／彼の 前にも， 人は 數えきれない．
  4. それなのに 空しい 言葉で ／どのようにわたしを 慰めるつもりか． あなたたちの 反論は 欺きにすぎない．
  1. Who denounces his conduct to his face? Who repays him for what he has done?
  2. He is carried to the grave, and watch is kept over his tomb.
  3. The soil in the valley is sweet to him; all men follow after him, and a countless throng goes before him.
  4. "So how can you console me with your nonsense? Nothing is left of your answers but falsehood!"
 
  엘리바스의 세번째 충고(22:1-22:30)    
 
  1. テマン 人 エリファズ は 答えた．
  2. 人間が 神にとって 有益でありえようか． 賢い 人でさえ， 有益でありえようか．
  3. あなたが 正しいからといって 全能者が 喜び ／完全な 道を 步むからといって ／神の 利益になるだろうか．
  4. あなたが 神を 畏れ 敬っているのに ／神があなたを 責め ／あなたを 裁きの 座に 引き 出されるだろうか．
  5. あなたは 甚だしく 惡を 行い ／限りもなく 不正を 行ったのではないか．
  1. Then Eliphaz the Temanite replied:
  2. "Can a man be of benefit to God? Can even a wise man benefit him?
  3. What pleasure would it give the Almighty if you were righteous? What would he gain if your ways were blameless?
  4. "Is it for your piety that he rebukes you and brings charges against you?
  5. Is not your wickedness great? Are not your sins endless?
  1. あなたは 兄弟から 質草を 取って 何も 與えず ／旣に 裸の 人からなお 着物をはぎ 取った．
  2. 渴き 果てた 人に 水を 與えず ／飢えた 人に 食べ 物を 拒んだ．
  3. 腕力を 振るう 者が 土地をわがものとし ／もてはやされている 者がそこに 住む．
  4. あなたはやもめに 何も 與えず 追い 拂い ／みなしごの 腕を 折った．
  5. だからこそ ／あなたの 周りには 至るところに ┼があり ／突然の 恐れにあなたはおびえる．
  1. You demanded security from your brothers for no reason; you stripped men of their clothing, leaving them naked.
  2. You gave no water to the weary and you withheld food from the hungry,
  3. though you were a powerful man, owning land-- an honored man, living on it.
  4. And you sent widows away empty-handed and broke the strength of the fatherless.
  5. That is why snares are all around you, why sudden peril terrifies you,
  1. また， 暗黑に 包まれて 何も 見えず ／洪水があなたを 覆っているので
  2. あなたは 言う． 「神がいますのは 高い 天の 上で ／見よ， あのように 高い 星の 群れの 頭なのだ． 」
  3. だからあなたは 言う． 「神が 何を 知っておられるものか． 濃霧の 向こうから 裁くことができようか．

  1. why it is so dark you cannot see, and why a flood of water covers you.
  2. "Is not God in the heights of heaven? And see how lofty are the highest stars!
  3. Yet you say, 'What does God know? Does he judge through such darkness?
  4. Thick clouds veil him, so he does not see us as he goes about in the vaulted heavens.'
  5. Will you keep to the old path that evil men have trod?
  1. 彼らは 時ならずして， 取り 去られ ／流れがその 基までぬぐい 去った．
  2. 神に 向かって 彼らは 言っていた． 「ほうっておいてくれ ／全能者と 呼ばれる 者に 何ができる． 」

  1. They were carried off before their time, their foundations washed away by a flood.
  2. They said to God, 'Leave us alone! What can the Almighty do to us?'
  3. Yet it was he who filled their houses with good things, so I stand aloof from the counsel of the wicked.
  4. "The righteous see their ruin and rejoice; the innocent mock them, saying,
  5. 'Surely our foes are destroyed, and fire devours their wealth.'
  1. 神に 從い， 神と 和解しなさい． そうすれば， あなたは 幸せになるだろう．
  2. 神が 口ずから 授ける 敎えを 受け ／その 言葉を 心に 納めなさい．
  3. もし， 全能者のもとに 立ち 歸り ／あなたの 天幕から 不正を 遠ざけるなら ／あなたは 元どおりにしていただける．
  4. 黃金を 塵の 中に ／ オフィル の 金を 川床に 置くがよい．
  5. 全能者こそがあなたの 黃金 ／あなたにとっての 最高の 銀となり
  1. "Submit to God and be at peace with him; in this way prosperity will come to you.
  2. Accept instruction from his mouth and lay up his words in your heart.
  3. If you return to the Almighty, you will be restored: If you remove wickedness far from your tent
  4. and assign your nuggets to the dust, your gold of Ophir to the rocks in the ravines,
  5. then the Almighty will be your gold, the choicest silver for you.
  1. あなたは 全能者によって 喜びを 得 ／神に 向かって 顔を 上げ
  2. あなたが 祈れば 聞き 入れられ ／滿願の 獻げ 物をすることもできるだろう．
  3. あなたが 決意することは 成就し ／步む 道には 光が 輝くことだろう．
  4. 倒れている 者に， 立ち 上がれとあなたが 言えば ／目を 伏せていた 者は 救われる．
  5. 淸くない 者すら ／あなたの 手の 潔白によって 救われる．
  1. Surely then you will find delight in the Almighty and will lift up your face to God.
  2. You will pray to him, and he will hear you, and you will fulfill your vows.
  3. What you decide on will be done, and light will shine on your ways.
  4. When men are brought low and you say, 'Lift them up!' then he will save the downcast.
  5. He will deliver even one who is not innocent, who will be delivered through the cleanness of your hands."
