- あなたがたのために 神がわたしに 惠みをお 與えになった 次第について， あなたがたは 聞いたにちがいありません．
- 初めに 手短に 書いたように， 秘められた 計畵が 啓示によってわたしに 知らされました．
- あなたがたは， それを 讀めば， キリスト によって 實現されるこの 計畵を， わたしがどのように 理解しているかが 分かると 思います．
- この 計畵は， キリスト 以前の 時代には 人の 子らに 知らされていませんでしたが， 今や “靈 ＂によって， キリスト の 聖なる 使徒たちや 預言者たちに 啓示されました．

- For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles--
- Surely you have heard about the administration of God's grace that was given to me for you,
- that is, the mystery made known to me by revelation, as I have already written briefly.
- In reading this, then, you will be able to understand my insight into the mystery of Christ,
- which was not made known to men in other generations as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to God's holy apostles and prophets.

- すなわち， 異邦人が 福音によって キリスト · イエス において， 約束されたものをわたしたちと 一緖に 受け 繼ぐ 者， 同じ 體に 屬する 者， 同じ 約束にあずかる 者となるということです．
- 神は， その 力を ¿かせてわたしに 惠みを 賜り， この 福音に 仕える 者としてくださいました．
- この 惠みは， 聖なる 者たちすべての 中で 最もつまらない 者であるわたしに 與えられました． わたしは， この 惠みにより， キリスト の 計り 知れない 富について， 異邦人に 福音を 告げ 知らせており，
- すべてのものをお 造りになった 神の 內に 世の 初めから 隱されていた 秘められた 計畵が， どのように 實現されるのかを， すべての 人¿に 說き 明かしています．
- こうして， いろいろの ¿きをする 神の 知惠は， 今や 敎會によって， 天上の 支配や 權威に 知らされるようになったのですが，

- This mystery is that through the gospel the Gentiles are heirs together with Israel, members together of one body, and sharers together in the promise in Christ Jesus.
- I became a servant of this gospel by the gift of God's grace given me through the working of his power.
- Although I am less than the least of all God's people, this grace was given me: to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,
- and to make plain to everyone the administration of this mystery, which for ages past was kept hidden in God, who created all things.
- His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms,

- わたしたちは 主 キリスト に 結ばれており， キリスト に 對する 信仰により， 確信をもって， 大膽に 神に 近づくことができます．
- だから， あなたがたのためにわたしが 受けている 苦難を 見て， 落膽しないでください． この 苦難はあなたがたの 榮光なのです．

- In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.

- I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being,
- so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love,
- may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ,
- and to know this love that surpasses knowledge--that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
- Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,
