- 淸い 良心の 中に 信仰の 秘められた 眞理を 持っている 人でなければなりません．
- この 人¿もまず 審査を 受けるべきです． その 上で， 非難される 点がなければ， 奉仕者の 務めに 就かせなさい．
- 婦人の 奉仕者たちも 同じように 品位のある 人でなければなりません． 中傷せず， 節制し， あらゆる 点で 忠實な 人でなければなりません．
- 奉仕者は 一人の 妻の 夫で， 子供たちと 自分の 家庭をよく 治める 人でなければなりません．

- Deacons, likewise, are to be men worthy of respect, sincere, not indulging in much wine, and not pursuing dishonest gain.
- They must keep hold of the deep truths of the faith with a clear conscience.
- They must first be tested; and then if there is nothing against them, let them serve as deacons.
- In the same way, their wives are to be women worthy of respect, not malicious talkers but temperate and trustworthy in everything.
- A deacon must be the husband of but one wife and must manage his children and his household well.
