예레미야 28:1-29:32

 예레미야의 목에 얹은 나무 멍에를 꺾어 버린 거짓 선지자 하나냐는 하나님의 징계를 받아 죽었고, 유다는 쇠 멍에를 얹게 되었다. 예레미야는 바벨론에 잡혀 간 유다 백성들에게 편지를 보내어 귀환할 때까지 그 곳에서 평안히 거할 것을 당부했으며, 거짓 선지자들에게 현혹되지 말 것을 경고하였다. 이에 스마야는 예레미야를 처벌하도록 본국에 요청하였지만 야웨께서는 스마야를 징벌하시겠다고 선언하셨다.
  
  거짓 선지자 하나냐(28:1-28:17)    
 
  1. その 同じ 年， ユダ の 王 ゼデキヤ の 治世の 初め， 第四年の 五月に， 主の 神殿において， ギブオン 出身の 預言者， アズル の 子 ハナンヤ が， 祭司とすべての 民の 前でわたしに 言った．
  2. 「イスラエル の 神， 万軍の 主はこう 言われる． わたしは バビロン の 王の 阿を 打ち ¿く．
  3. 二年のうちに， わたしは バビロン の 王 ネブカドネツァル がこの 場所から 奪って 行った 主の 神殿の 祭具をすべてこの 場所に 持ち 歸らせる．
  4. また， バビロン へ 連行された ユダ の 王， ヨヤキム の 子 エコンヤ および バビロン へ 行った ユダ の 捕囚の 民をすべて， わたしはこの 場所へ 連れ 歸る， と 主は 言われる． なぜなら， わたしが バビロン の 王の 阿を 打ち ¿くからである． 」
  5. そこで， 預言者 エレミヤ は 主の 神殿に 立っていた 祭司たちとすべての 民の 前で， 預言者 ハナンヤ に 言った．
  1. In the fifth month of that same year, the fourth year, early in the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, the prophet Hananiah son of Azzur, who was from Gibeon, said to me in the house of the LORD in the presence of the priests and all the people:
  2. "This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: 'I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.
  3. Within two years I will bring back to this place all the articles of the LORD's house that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon removed from here and took to Babylon.
  4. I will also bring back to this place Jehoiachin son of Jehoiakim king of Judah and all the other exiles from Judah who went to Babylon,' declares the LORD, 'for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.' "
  5. Then the prophet Jeremiah replied to the prophet Hananiah before the priests and all the people who were standing in the house of the LORD.
  1. 預言者 エレミヤ は 言った． 「ア ― メン ， どうか 主がそのとおりにしてくださるように． どうか 主があなたの 預言の 言葉を 實現し， 主の 神殿の 祭具と 捕囚の 民すべてを バビロン からこの 場所に 戾してくださるように．
  2. だが， わたしがあなたと 民すべての 耳に 告げるこの 言葉をよく 聞け．
  3. あなたやわたしに 先立つ 昔の 預言者たちは， 多くの 國， 强大な 王國に 對して， 戰爭や 災害や 疫病を 預言した．
  4. 平和を 預言する 者は， その 言葉が 成就するとき 初めて， まことに 主が 遣わされた 預言者であることが 分かる． 」
  5. すると 預言者 ハナンヤ は， 預言者 エレミヤ の 首から 阿をはずして 打ち ¿いた．
  1. He said, "Amen! May the LORD do so! May the LORD fulfill the words you have prophesied by bringing the articles of the LORD's house and all the exiles back to this place from Babylon.
  2. Nevertheless, listen to what I have to say in your hearing and in the hearing of all the people:
  3. From early times the prophets who preceded you and me have prophesied war, disaster and plague against many countries and great kingdoms.
  4. But the prophet who prophesies peace will be recognized as one truly sent by the LORD only if his prediction comes true."
  5. Then the prophet Hananiah took the yoke off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah and broke it,
  1. そして， ハナンヤ は 民すべての 前で 言った． 「主はこう 言われる． わたしはこのように， 二年のうちに， あらゆる 國¿の 首にはめられている バビロン の 王 ネブカドネツァル の 阿を 打ち ¿く． 」そこで， 預言者 エレミヤ は 立ち 去った．
  2. 預言者 ハナンヤ が， 預言者 エレミヤ の 首から 阿をはずして 打ち ¿いた 後に， 主の 言葉が エレミヤ に 臨んだ．
  3. 「行って， ハナンヤ に 言え． 主はこう 言われる． お 前は 木の 阿を 打ち ¿いたが， その 代わりに， 鐵の 阿を 作った．

  1. and he said before all the people, "This is what the LORD says: 'In the same way will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon off the neck of all the nations within two years.' " At this, the prophet Jeremiah went on his way.
  2. Shortly after the prophet Hananiah had broken the yoke off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah:
  3. "Go and tell Hananiah, 'This is what the LORD says: You have broken a wooden yoke, but in its place you will get a yoke of iron.
  4. This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: I will put an iron yoke on the necks of all these nations to make them serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and they will serve him. I will even give him control over the wild animals.' "
  5. Then the prophet Jeremiah said to Hananiah the prophet, "Listen, Hananiah! The LORD has not sent you, yet you have persuaded this nation to trust in lies.
  1. それゆえ， 主はこう 言われる． 『わたしはお 前を 地の 面から 追い 拂う 』と． お 前は 今年のうちに 死ぬ． 主に 逆らって 語ったからだ． 」
  2. 預言者 ハナンヤ は， その 年の 七月に 死んだ．
  1. Therefore, this is what the LORD says: 'I am about to remove you from the face of the earth. This very year you are going to die, because you have preached rebellion against the LORD.' "
  2. In the seventh month of that same year, Hananiah the prophet died.
 
  포로된 백성에게 보낸 편지(29:1-29:23)    
 
  1. 以下に 記すのは， ネブカドネツァル が エルサレム から バビロン へ 捕囚として 連れて 行った 長老， 祭司， 預言者たち， および 民のすべてに， 預言者 エレミヤ が エルサレム から 書き 送った 手紙の 文面である．
  2. それは， エコンヤ 王， 太后， 宦官， ユダ と エルサレム の 高官， 工匠と 鍛冶とが エルサレム を 去った 後のことである．

  1. This is the text of the letter that the prophet Jeremiah sent from Jerusalem to the surviving elders among the exiles and to the priests, the prophets and all the other people Nebuchadnezzar had carried into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon.
  2. (This was after King Jehoiachin and the queen mother, the court officials and the leaders of Judah and Jerusalem, the craftsmen and the artisans had gone into exile from Jerusalem.)
  3. He entrusted the letter to Elasah son of Shaphan and to Gemariah son of Hilkiah, whom Zedekiah king of Judah sent to King Nebuchadnezzar in Babylon. It said:
  4. This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says to all those I carried into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon:
  5. "Build houses and settle down; plant gardens and eat what they produce.
  1. 妻をめとり， 息子， 娘をもうけ， 息子には 嫁をとり， 娘は 嫁がせて， 息子， 娘を 産ませるように． そちらで 人口を 增やし， 減らしてはならない．
  2. わたしが， あなたたちを 捕囚として 送った 町の 平安を 求め， その 町のために 主に 祈りなさい． その 町の 平安があってこそ， あなたたちにも 平安があるのだから．
  3. イスラエル の 神， 万軍の 主はこう 言われる． あなたたちのところにいる 預言者や 占い 師たちにだまされてはならない． 彼らの 見た 夢に 從ってはならない．
  4. 彼らは， わたしの 名を 使って 僞りの 預言をしているからである． わたしは， 彼らを 遣わしてはいない， と 主は 言われる．
  5. 主はこう 言われる． バビロン に 七十年の 時が 滿ちたなら， わたしはあなたたちを 顧みる． わたしは 惠みの 約束を 果たし， あなたたちをこの 地に 連れ 戾す．
  1. Marry and have sons and daughters; find wives for your sons and give your daughters in marriage, so that they too may have sons and daughters. Increase in number there; do not decrease.
  2. Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the LORD for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper."
  3. Yes, this is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: "Do not let the prophets and diviners among you deceive you. Do not listen to the dreams you encourage them to have.
  4. They are prophesying lies to you in my name. I have not sent them," declares the LORD.
  5. This is what the LORD says: "When seventy years are completed for Babylon, I will come to you and fulfill my gracious promise to bring you back to this place.
  1. わたしは， あなたたちのために 立てた 計畵をよく 心に 留めている， と 主は 言われる． それは 平和の 計畵であって， 災いの 計畵ではない． 將來と 希望を 與えるものである．
  2. そのとき， あなたたちがわたしを 呼び， 來てわたしに 祈り 求めるなら， わたしは 聞く．
  3. わたしを 尋ね 求めるならば 見いだし， 心を 盡くしてわたしを 求めるなら，
  4. わたしに 出會うであろう， と 主は 言われる． わたしは 捕囚の 民を 歸らせる． わたしはあなたたちをあらゆる 國¿の 間に， またあらゆる 地域に 追いやったが， そこから 呼び 集め， かつてそこから 捕囚として 追い 出した 元の 場所へ 連れ 戾す， と 主は 言われる．
  5. あなたたちは， 『主が 我¿のために， バビロン でも 預言者を 立ててくださった 』と 言っている．
  1. For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
  2. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.
  3. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
  4. I will be found by you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile."
  5. You may say, "The LORD has raised up prophets for us in Babylon,"
  1. そこで， ダビデ の 王座についている 王と， この 都に 住む 民のすべて， すなわち 捕囚としてあなたたちと 共に 出て 行かなかった 同胞に 對して， 主はこう 言われる．
  2. 万軍の 主はこう 言われる． わたしは 彼らに 劍， 飢鴨， 疫病を 送り， 腐って 食べられない， いちじくのようにする．
  3. わたしは， 劍， 飢鴨， 疫病をもって， 彼らを 追い， 全世界の 國¿の 嫌惡の 的とし， わたしが 追いやる 國¿で， 呪い， 驚愕， 物笑い， 恥さらしとする．

  1. but this is what the LORD says about the king who sits on David's throne and all the people who remain in this city, your countrymen who did not go with you into exile-
  2. yes, this is what the LORD Almighty says: "I will send the sword, famine and plague against them and I will make them like poor figs that are so bad they cannot be eaten.
  3. I will pursue them with the sword, famine and plague and will make them abhorrent to all the kingdoms of the earth and an object of cursing and horror, of scorn and reproach, among all the nations where I drive them.
  4. For they have not listened to my words," declares the LORD, "words that I sent to them again and again by my servants the prophets. And you exiles have not listened either," declares the LORD.
  5. Therefore, hear the word of the LORD, all you exiles whom I have sent away from Jerusalem to Babylon.
  1. イスラエル の 神， 万軍の 主はこう 言われる． それは， わたしの 名を 使って， あなたたちに 僞りの 預言をしている コラヤ の 子 アハブ と マアセヤ の 子 ゼデキヤ に 對してである． 今， わたしは 彼らを バビロン の 王 ネブカドレツァル の 手に 渡す． 王は 彼らをあなたたちの 目の 前で 殺す．
  2. この 二人のことは， 呪いの 言葉として 使われ， バビロン にいる ユダ の 捕囚民は 皆， 『主が， お 前を バビロン の 王に 火あぶりにされた ゼデキヤ と アハブ のようにしてくださるように 』と 言うようになるだろう．

  1. This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says about Ahab son of Kolaiah and Zedekiah son of Maaseiah, who are prophesying lies to you in my name: "I will hand them over to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he will put them to death before your very eyes.
  2. Because of them, all the exiles from Judah who are in Babylon will use this curse: 'The LORD treat you like Zedekiah and Ahab, whom the king of Babylon burned in the fire.'
  3. For they have done outrageous things in Israel; they have committed adultery with their neighbors' wives and in my name have spoken lies, which I did not tell them to do. I know it and am a witness to it," declares the LORD.
 
  스마야의 편지(29:24-29:32)    
 
  1. あなたは ネヘラミ 人 シェマヤ に 對して 告げよ．
  2. 「イスラエル の 神， 万軍の 主はこう 言われる． それは， お 前が 自分の 名で， 次の 手紙を エルサレム のすべての 民と， 祭司である マアセヤ の 子 ツェファンヤ と， すべての 祭司に 送ったことに 關してである．
  3. すなわち， 『主は 祭司 ヨヤダ に 代えて， あなたを 祭司とし， 主の 神殿の 監督とし， 狂い， 預言する 者すべてに 手枷， 足枷をはめ， 取り 締まらせた．
  4. それなのに， あなたたちに 預言している アナトト の 人 エレミヤ をなぜ 取り 締まらないのか．
  5. エレミヤ は， バビロン にいる 我¿のところにまで 手紙を 送って， 捕囚は 長引くので， 家を 建てて 住めとか， 園に 果樹を 植え， その 實を 食べよ， などと 言ってきた． 』」
  1. Tell Shemaiah the Nehelamite,
  2. "This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: You sent letters in your own name to all the people in Jerusalem, to Zephaniah son of Maaseiah the priest, and to all the other priests. You said to Zephaniah,
  3. 'The LORD has appointed you priest in place of Jehoiada to be in charge of the house of the LORD; you should put any madman who acts like a prophet into the stocks and neck-irons.
  4. So why have you not reprimanded Jeremiah from Anathoth, who poses as a prophet among you?
  5. He has sent this message to us in Babylon: It will be a long time. Therefore build houses and settle down; plant gardens and eat what they produce.' "
  1. 祭司 ツェファンヤ は 預言者 エレミヤ に， この 手紙を 讀んで 聞かせた．
  2. そのとき， 主の 言葉が エレミヤ に 臨んだ．
  3. 「すべての 捕囚民に 書き 送れ． ネヘラミ 人 シェマヤ に 對して 主はこう 言われる． シェマヤ は， あなたたちに 預言したが， わたしは 彼を 遣わしてはいない． 彼は 僞ってあなたたちを 安心させようとしている．

  1. Zephaniah the priest, however, read the letter to Jeremiah the prophet.
  2. Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah:
  3. "Send this message to all the exiles: 'This is what the LORD says about Shemaiah the Nehelamite: Because Shemaiah has prophesied to you, even though I did not send him, and has led you to believe a lie,
  4. this is what the LORD says: I will surely punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite and his descendants. He will have no one left among this people, nor will he see the good things I will do for my people, declares the LORD, because he has preached rebellion against me.' "
