	에스겔 38:1-39:29 하나님께서는 포로 생활에서 귀환하여 평안히 살고 있는 이스라엘을 곡의 군대가 침략하지만 하나님께서 곡을 심판하실 것이라고 예고하셨다. 그러나 이스라엘 백성들은 야웨만을 의뢰하고 온 땅이 야웨의 이름을 앙모하게 되며, 이스라엘은 평화와 거룩의 땅으로 변화될 것이라고 예언하셨다.

	곡의 침입(38:1-38:23)

主の言葉がわたしに臨んだ．

「人の子よ，マゴグの地のゴグ，すなわちメシェクとトバルの總首長に對して顔を向け，彼に預言して，

言いなさい．主なる神はこう言われる．メシェクとトバルの總首長ゴグよ，わたしはお前に立ち向かう．

わたしはお前を立ち歸らせ，お前の顎に一をかけて，お前とその全軍，馬と騎兵を連れ出す．彼らは皆完全に武裝した大集團で，大盾と小盾を持ち，皆劍を持っている．

ペルシア，クシュ，プトが彼らと共におり，皆，盾を持ち，兜をかぶっている．

The word of the LORD came to me:

"Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal; prophesy against him

and say: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal.

I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army--your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords.

Persia, Cush and Put will be with them, all with shields and helmets,

ゴメルとそのすべての軍隊，北の果てのベト · トガルマとそのすべての軍隊，それに多くの國民がお前と共にいる．

備えをせよ．お前も，お前のもとに召集されるすべての集團も備えをせよ．お前は彼らの監督となれ．

" 'Get ready; be prepared, you and all the hordes gathered about you, and take command of them.

After many days you will be called to arms. In future years you will invade a land that has recovered from war, whose people were gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate. They had been brought out from the nations, and now all of them live in safety.

You and all your troops and the many nations with you will go up, advancing like a storm; you will be like a cloud covering the land.

" 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: On that day thoughts will come into your mind and you will devise an evil scheme.

そして言う．『わたしは圍いのない國へ攻め上る．城壁もかんぬきも門もなく安らかに生活している靜かな國を襲う』と．

お前はかつて廢虛であったが，今は人の住んでいる國，諸國民のもとから集められ，國の中心の山¿に住み，家畜や財産を持っている民に對して手を上げ，戰利品を奪い，ほしいままに略奪しようとしている．

シェバとデダン，タルシシュの商人たち，およびその富豪たちはすべてお前に言う．『お前は戰利品を奪うために來たのか．お前はほしいままに略奪するために集團を組んだのか．金銀を運び去り，家畜や財産を手に入れ，多くの戰利品を奪おうとするのか』と．

You will say, "I will invade a land of unwalled villages; I will attack a peaceful and unsuspecting people--all of them living without walls and without gates and bars.

I will plunder and loot and turn my hand against the resettled ruins and the people gathered from the nations, rich in livestock and goods, living at the center of the land."

Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish and all her villages will say to you, "Have you come to plunder? Have you gathered your hordes to loot, to carry off silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods and to seize much plunder?" '

"Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: In that day, when my people Israel are living in safety, will you not take notice of it?

You will come from your place in the far north, you and many nations with you, all of them riding on horses, a great horde, a mighty army.

お前はわが民イスラエルに向かって，地を覆う雲のように上って來る．そのことは，終わりの日に起こる．わたしはお前を，わたしの地に連れて來る．それは，ゴグよ，わたしが國¿の前で，お前を通して自分の聖なることを示し，彼らがわたしを知るようになるためである．

主なる神はこう言われる．お前は，遠い昔，わたしが僕であるイスラエルの預言者たちを通して語ったその者ではないか．この預言者たちは，長年にわたって，彼らに向かってわたしがお前を來させる，と語った．

ゴグがイスラエルの地を襲う日，まさにその日に，と主なる神は言われる．わたしの憤りは激しく燃え上がる．

わたしは熱情と怒りの火をもって語る．必ずその日に，イスラエルの地には大地震が起こる．

海の魚，空の鳥，野の ¿，地の上を這うすべてのもの，および地上のすべての人間は，わたしの前に震える．山¿は裂け，崖は崩れ，すべての城壁は地に倒れる．

You will advance against my people Israel like a cloud that covers the land. In days to come, O Gog, I will bring you against my land, so that the nations may know me when I show myself holy through you before their eyes.

" 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Are you not the one I spoke of in former days by my servants the prophets of Israel? At that time they prophesied for years that I would bring you against them.

This is what will happen in that day: When Gog attacks the land of Israel, my hot anger will be aroused, declares the Sovereign LORD.

In my zeal and fiery wrath I declare that at that time there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel.

The fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the beasts of the field, every creature that moves along the ground, and all the people on the face of the earth will tremble at my presence. The mountains will be overturned, the cliffs will crumble and every wall will fall to the ground.

わたしはすべての山の上で，ゴグに向かって劍を呼び寄せる， ㅪ聲 �翡遜 ┶藺 │�묄� ㅹ壞櫻 ㅧ議 ㅧ櫻ㄱ ㅲ那懺純期 �ぁ ㅺㄲ�

わたしは疫病と流血によって彼を裁く．わたしは彼とその軍勢，また，彼と共にいる多くの民の上に，大雨と音と火と硫黃を注ぐ．

わたしは自らの偉大さと聖とを多くの國¿の前に示す．そのとき，彼らはわたしが主であることを知るようになる．

I will summon a sword against Gog on all my mountains, declares the Sovereign LORD. Every man's sword will be against his brother.

I will execute judgment upon him with plague and bloodshed; I will pour down torrents of rain, hailstones and burning sulfur on him and on his troops and on the many nations with him.

And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the LORD.'

	곡의 파멸(39:1-39:29)

人の子よ，あなたはゴグに向かい預言して言いなさい．主なる神はこう言われる．メシェクとトバルの總首長ゴグよ．わたしはお前に立ち向かう．

わたしはお前を立ち歸らせ，お前を導いて北の果てから連れ上り，イスラエルの山¿に來させる．

そして，お前の左手から弓を叩き落とし，右手から矢を落とさせる．

お前とそのすべての軍隊も，共にいる民も，イスラエルの山の上で倒れる．わたしはお前をあらゆる種類の猛禽と野の ¿の餌食として與える．

お前は野の上に倒れる．まことにわたしがこれを語った，と主なる神は言われる．

"Son of man, prophesy against Gog and say: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal.

I will turn you around and drag you along. I will bring you from the far north and send you against the mountains of Israel.

Then I will strike your bow from your left hand and make your arrows drop from your right hand.

On the mountains of Israel you will fall, you and all your troops and the nations with you. I will give you as food to all kinds of carrion birds and to the wild animals.

You will fall in the open field, for I have spoken, declares the Sovereign LORD.

わたしは，火をマゴグと海岸地方に安らかに住む者たちに送る．そのとき，彼らはわたしが主であることを知るようになる．

わたしは，わが民イスラエルの中にわが聖なる名を知らせる．わたしはわが聖なる名を二度と汚させない．そのとき，諸國民はわたしが主であり，イスラエルの中の聖なる者であることを知るようになる．

このことは到來し，實現する，と主なる神は言われる．それは，わたしが語った日である．

イスラエルの町¿に住む者は出て來て，もろもろの武器，すなわち盾と大盾，弓矢，棍棒，槍を火で燃やす．彼らはそれで七年間火を燃やし續ける．

彼らは，野から木を取ってくることも，森から薪を集めることもない．彼らは武器で火を燃やすからである．彼らは戰利品を取り返し，略奪されたものを奪い返す，と主なる神は言われる．

I will send fire on Magog and on those who live in safety in the coastlands, and they will know that I am the LORD.

" 'I will make known my holy name among my people Israel. I will no longer let my holy name be profaned, and the nations will know that I the LORD am the Holy One in Israel.

It is coming! It will surely take place, declares the Sovereign LORD. This is the day I have spoken of.

" 'Then those who live in the towns of Israel will go out and use the weapons for fuel and burn them up--the small and large shields, the bows and arrows, the war clubs and spears. For seven years they will use them for fuel.

They will not need to gather wood from the fields or cut it from the forests, because they will use the weapons for fuel. And they will plunder those who plundered them and loot those who looted them, declares the Sovereign LORD.

その日，わたしはゴグのために，イスラエルの中のよく知られている場所を墓地として與える．それは海の東の旅人の谷である．その墓は旅人の道をふさいでしまう．人¿はそこにゴグとすべての軍勢を埋め，そこをゴグの軍勢の谷と呼ぶようになる．

" 'On that day I will give Gog a burial place in Israel, in the valley of those who travel east toward the Sea. It will block the way of travelers, because Gog and all his hordes will be buried there. So it will be called the Valley of Hamon Gog.

" 'For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them in order to cleanse the land.

All the people of the land will bury them, and the day I am glorified will be a memorable day for them, declares the Sovereign LORD.

" 'Men will be regularly employed to cleanse the land. Some will go throughout the land and, in addition to them, others will bury those that remain on the ground. At the end of the seven months they will begin their search.

As they go through the land and one of them sees a human bone, he will set up a marker beside it until the gravediggers have buried it in the Valley of Hamon Gog.

そこで，ハモナ（軍勢）という名の町ができる．こうして，彼らはその土地を淸める．

人の子よ，主なる神はこう言われる．あらゆる種類の猛禽と，あらゆる種類の野の ¿に語りなさい．お前たちは集まれ．來て，わたしがお前たちのために屠ったわたしの ¿牲に向かい周圍から集まれ．それはイスラエルの山¿の上での大いなる ¿牲である．お前たちはその肉を食らい，その血を飮め．

勇士たちの肉を食らい，國の支配者たちの血を飮め．それは雄羊，小羊，雄山羊，雄牛であり，みなバシャンの肥えた動物たちである．

お前たちは，わたしがお前たちのために屠った ¿牲から，飽きるまで脂肪を食べ，醉うまで血を飮むがよい．

お前たちはわたしの食卓で，馬や騎兵，勇士やすべての兵士たちの肉を飽きるまで食べる，と主なる神は言われる．

(Also a town called Hamonah will be there.) And so they will cleanse the land.'

"Son of man, this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Call out to every kind of bird and all the wild animals: 'Assemble and come together from all around to the sacrifice I am preparing for you, the great sacrifice on the mountains of Israel. There you will eat flesh and drink blood.

You will eat the flesh of mighty men and drink the blood of the princes of the earth as if they were rams and lambs, goats and bulls--all of them fattened animals from Bashan.

At the sacrifice I am preparing for you, you will eat fat till you are glutted and drink blood till you are drunk.

At my table you will eat your fill of horses and riders, mighty men and soldiers of every kind,' declares the Sovereign LORD.

わたしは國¿の間にわが榮光を現し，國¿はすべてわたしの行う裁きと，彼らの上に置くわたしの手を見る．

その日から後，イスラエルの家はわたしが彼らの神，主であることを知るようになる．

國¿は，イスラエルの家がわたしに不信の行爲を行ったために捕囚となったこと，また，わたしが顔を隱し，彼らを敵の手に渡したため，彼らは皆，劍に倒れたことを知るようになる．

わたしは，彼らの汚れと罪に應じて行い，わたしの顔を隱した．

それゆえ，主なる神はこう言われる．今やわたしはヤコブの繁榮を回復し，イスラエルの全家をわが聖なる名のゆえに熱い思いをもって憐れむ．

"I will display my glory among the nations, and all the nations will see the punishment I inflict and the hand I lay upon them.

From that day forward the house of Israel will know that I am the LORD their God.

And the nations will know that the people of Israel went into exile for their sin, because they were unfaithful to me. So I hid my face from them and handed them over to their enemies, and they all fell by the sword.

I dealt with them according to their uncleanness and their offenses, and I hid my face from them.

"Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I will now bring Jacob back from captivity and will have compassion on all the people of Israel, and I will be zealous for my holy name.

彼らは自分の土地に安らかに住み，脅かす者がいなくなるとき，わたしに背いた恥とすべての不信の罪の責めを擔う．

わたしが彼らを諸國の民の中から歸らせ，敵の地から集めるとき，わたしは國¿の前で，彼らを通して自分の聖なることを示す．

わたしは彼らを國¿に捕囚として送ったが，自分の土地に集めて，もはや，かの地には殘さない．そのとき，彼らはわたしが彼らの神，主であることを知るようになる．

わたしは二度とわが顔を彼らに隱すことなく，わが靈をイスラエルの家に注ぐ」と主なる神は言われる．

They will forget their shame and all the unfaithfulness they showed toward me when they lived in safety in their land with no one to make them afraid.

When I have brought them back from the nations and have gathered them from the countries of their enemies, I will show myself holy through them in the sight of many nations.

Then they will know that I am the LORD their God, for though I sent them into exile among the nations, I will gather them to their own land, not leaving any behind.

I will no longer hide my face from them, for I will pour out my Spirit on the house of Israel, declares the Sovereign LORD."
