- かつて， 民の 中に 僞預言者がいました． 同じように， あなたがたの 中にも 僞敎師が 現れるにちがいありません． 彼らは， 滅びをもたらす 異端をひそかに 持ち ¿み， 自分たちを ·ってくださった 主を 拒否しました． 自分の 身に 速やかな 滅びを 招いており，
- しかも， 多くの 人が 彼らのみだらな 樂しみを 見倣っています． 彼らのために 眞理の 道はそしられるのです．
- 彼らは 欲が 深く， うそ 僞りであなたがたを 食い 物にします． このような 者たちに 對する 裁きは， 昔から 怠りなくなされていて， 彼らの 滅びも 滯ることはありません．
- 神は， 罪を 犯した 天使たちを 容赦せず， 暗闇という ¿で 縛って 地獄に 引き 渡し， 裁きのために 閉じ ¿められました．
- また， 神は 昔の 人¿を 容赦しないで， 不信心な 者たちの 世界に 洪水を 引き 起こし， 義を 說いていた ノア たち 八人を 保護なさったのです．

- But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them--bringing swift destruction on themselves.
- Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring the way of truth into disrepute.
- In their greed these teachers will exploit you with stories they have made up. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.
- For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them into gloomy dungeons to be held for judgment;
- if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others;

- また， 神は ソドム と ゴモラ の 町を 灰にし， 滅ぼし 盡くして 罰し， それから 後の 不信心な 者たちへの 見せしめとなさいました．
- しかし 神は， 不道德な 者たちのみだらな 言動によって 惱まされていた 正しい 人 ロト を， 助け 出されました．
- なぜなら， この 正しい 人は， 彼らの 中で 生活していたとき， 每日よこしまな 行爲を 見聞きして 正しい 心を 痛めていたからです．
- 主は， 信仰のあつい 人を 試練から 救い 出す 一方， 正しくない 者たちを 罰し， 裁きの 日まで 閉じ ¿めておくべきだと 考えておられます．
- 特に， 汚れた 情欲の 赴くままに 肉に 從って 步み， 權威を 侮る 者たちを， そのように 扱われるのです． 彼らは， 厚かましく， わがままで， 榮光ある 者たちをそしってはばかりません．

- if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly;
- and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the filthy lives of lawless men
- (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)--
- if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue godly men from trials and to hold the unrighteous for the day of judgment, while continuing their punishment.
- This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the sinful nature and despise authority. Bold and arrogant, these men are not afraid to slander celestial beings;

- 天使たちは， 力も 權能もはるかにまさっているにもかかわらず， 主の 御前で 彼らをそしったり 訴え 出たりはしません．

- その 目は 絶えず 姦通の 相手を 求め， 飽くことなく 罪を 重ねています． 彼らは 心の 定まらない 人¿を 誘惑し， その 心は 强欲におぼれ， 呪いの 子になっています．

- yet even angels, although they are stronger and more powerful, do not bring slanderous accusations against such beings in the presence of the Lord.
- But these men blaspheme in matters they do not understand. They are like brute beasts, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed, and like beasts they too will perish.
- They will be paid back with harm for the harm they have done. Their idea of pleasure is to carouse in broad daylight. They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their pleasures while they feast with you.
- With eyes full of adultery, they never stop sinning; they seduce the unstable; they are experts in greed--an accursed brood!
- They have left the straight way and wandered off to follow the way of Balaam son of Beor, who loved the wages of wickedness.

- それで， その 過ちに 對するとがめを 受けました． ものを 言えないろばが 人間の 聲で 話して， この 預言者の 常軌を 逸した 行いをやめさせたのです．
- この 者たちは， 干上がった 泉， 嵐に 吹き 拂われる 霧であって， 彼らには 深い 暗闇が 用意されているのです．
- 彼らは， 無意味な 大言壯語をします． また， 迷いの 生活からやっと 拔け 出て 來た 人たちを， 肉の 欲やみだらな 樂しみで 誘惑するのです．
- その 人たちに 自由を 與えると 約束しながら， 自分自身は 滅亡の 奴隷です． 人は， 自分を 打ち 負かした 者に 服從するものです．
- わたしたちの 主， 救い 主 イエス · キリスト を 深く 知って 世の 汚れから 逃れても， それに 再び 卷き ¿まれて 打ち 負かされるなら， そのような 者たちの 後の 狀態は， 前よりずっと 惡くなります．

- But he was rebuked for his wrongdoing by a donkey--a beast without speech--who spoke with a man's voice and restrained the prophet's madness.
- These men are springs without water and mists driven by a storm. Blackest darkness is reserved for them.
- For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of sinful human nature, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error.
- They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity--for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him.
- If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning.

- 義の 道を 知っていながら， 自分たちに 傳えられた 聖なる ¿から 離れ 去るよりは， 義の 道を 知らなかった 方が， 彼らのためによかったであろうに．
- ことわざに， ／「犬は， 自分の 吐いた 物のところへ 戾って 來る 」また， ／「豚は， 體を 洗って， また， 泥の 中を 轉げ 回る 」と 言われているとおりのことが 彼らの 身に 起こっているのです．

- It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.
- Of them the proverbs are true: "A dog returns to its vomit,"and, "A sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud."
